Hey imagine if we become the corpse with a text of speech device in the future and have to fix everything again would we become mentally degraded that we end up as the TTS emp or have our mental state intact and kindly fix things with out making it bad enough

Does he hate his grandsons and granddaughter here like he hates his son in law
In the parody verse Dracul doesn't have any children with three of his godly wives, mainly because he doesn't want to bring a god-child into a world where Chaos is the current dominant divine force, but after they are banished or defeated is fair game. As for Morr's step-grandchildren, those being the entire Dragon race, he has no problem with them. He just hates their dad.

I wonder how much diss does Dracul does to Morr because this dude is very calm and calculating to not be insulted by him and I think Dracul in this verse just says when he hears more is "Who?" As in general confusion (probably because he made himself believe morr doesn't exist) @Alucard Vampiry

In the parody verse, Dracul doesn't give two shits to Morr's whinning, as he is too busy dealing with all the world threats (Chaos, Skaven, Massive Orc WAAAGH's) or personal vendettas (Looking at you Dark Elves) and turning Wallachia into the most powerful nation in the entire world.

I wonder what Dracul would think of the TTS emp @Alucard Vampiry
First, he would think that he was a really terrible father (no surprises there). Second, he would actually admire his knowledge that allowed to create many things (Especially the Astartes). Third, he would be annoyed because he denies being a god, because 40k!Emps is a god no matter how much he denies it, 30k!Emps on the other hand wasn't a god ''just'' an extremely powerful psyker. But not a god.

I think it's because Emps wanted humanity to believe in themselves instead of a figure that became a god but wants to be humble and say they're just a powerful being

To be fair, humanity is an extremely reactive race to the powers of the warp to where some high levels would be considered gods thanks to their power. Just look at Alpha-pluses or Malcador, the problem here is that humanity doesn't have enough will to hold all that power, Emps wanted to fix that effectively making humanity on par (or even surpassing) the Eldar, but of course that wasn't what happened.

I also think his aversion to religion is mainly thanks to how the warp of 40k is now. I highly doubt any true good god can exist in the exist in the 40k universe without immediately getting eaten by the four.

The Blood Tide - The Ritual City Part II
Plan: The Scourge Closes in...
- Charged Focus Strike: use the khornates nature to draw the host away from the city to open ground with several groups of black knights, when they inevitably charge (they HAVE to or be seen as cowards by their god), then when the khornates attack use the hammer and anvil approach with the grave-guard holding the lines while skeletons keep the arrow-fire up. Have the zombies swarm the khornates while the giants continue the same tactics as before... however have groups of black knights while the fighting happens skirmish around the main battle-front with several volunteer necromancers hidden under whatever illusion of notice me not/someone else's problem/oh look over there!
– The necromancers are to use the rituals against the khornates if they can by twisting it one more time against the forces of khorne...to steal away and MAYBE summon another angyl from the future, if not then try to weaken the rituals to disperse the daemon hordes. (try to summon a daemon or maybe a lesser daemon host from the future... yeah, this is a long-shot but I'm willing to put this down)
– The rest of them are to hold the line and slowly and steadily grind the chaos forces down with artillery fire, arrow fire, black knight skirmishing and hitting their flanks/rear guard, and being swarmed by the zombies and grave-guard.
– if summoning is not possible, then disrupt as many of the ritual sites as possible without opening a damn warp rift... or if possible, steal that warp energy for Dracul's use... (pure energy good, evil warp energy bad, so dilution is needed)

The one that charged first was unsurprisingly the followers of Khorne, their mad nature allowing them no other choice. After all, when they gave their soul and body to the blood god, their minds were warped into becoming little more than barely functional berserkers. Which was exactly what the forces of the Dragon had expected and wanted.

Once more, they divided their lines into four sections. The first line was the Zombies, the main cannon fodder of the undead army. They would hold the chaos force and wither down their number when the chaos charge inevitably reached the second line, which was composed of the more elite Grave Guards, that would be assisted by the third line, which was composed of Skeleton warriors wielding bows and arrows. And finally, the fourth line was composed of both the undead giants and the necromancers who would provide artillery support alongside a standalone mission towards the city.

In the sidelines where the Black Knights were meant to not serve as bait for the enemy forces, but also as skirmishers.

As the lines were formed, the army of undead waited. And waited. And waited. Until the forces of Khorne finally crashed upon them like a wave. Daemonical blades easily cut through reanimated flesh and bone. They slashed with the fury and martial skill granted upon them by their god.

But no matter what they cut, it seemed like the tide of undead was endless, not that they had no problem with that. For a servant Khorne, a never ending fight is not a hassle or something annoying. It is a blessing, for their purpose is to fight and die in the name of Khorne while bringing down as many foes as they could. Blood for The Blood God after all.

But what the forces of Khorne didn't know was that while they focused their attention on the major force of Wallachia, secretly a group of Necromancers guarded by several black knights moved towards the ritual city. It wasn't easy. Several times, the rest of the Khornete forces that were left in the city to guard the ritual sites nearly discovered them. But in the end, they entered the city.

While they did that, the forces of the Dragon and the Hound battled. Skeletons constantly firing arrows at the daemons and warriors of Khorne. Grave Guard holding the line with their enchanted shields and spears. The Black Knights caused bloody swathes, whatever they descended upon the forces of The Blood Tide. Even the Zombies contributed by softening the initial charge of the servants of the Hound. While the Giants and the remaining Necromancers provided artillery support, either by throwing enormous boulders or launching magical attacks.

As the battle continued, it was the servants that were winning, mainly thanks to their sheer numbers, which made the elite but outnumbered warriors of Khorne buckle under their combined weight. And so, slowly and steadily, they pushed them back to the fallen city.

As more and more warriors and cultists fell to the fell blades of the undead, and as they banished more and more Daemons back to the Aether, the ones that stayed in the city charged and joined the battle, their unnatural bloodlust removing any doubt their minds could conjure.

This left the ritual sites practically defenseless, but they didn't bother with that. After all, the enemy force was right in front of them, and had yet to enter the city. Unknown to them, the group of Necromancers alongside their Black Knight guards had finally made it into one of the main ritual sites.

After slaughtering the leftover forces that had not charged headfirst into the tide of Undead, the Necromancers looked at the Ritual Site. Or rather the Ritual Pool. For that was exactly what it was: a massive pool of boiling blood. Inside it were the pale bones of all the ones that had been sacrificed. It was a rather grim sight, especially since some skulls were rather small. But they did not focus on that and instead focused on their task.

They focused both their minds and their powers into the mystical chain that binds all ritual sites. It was a powerful tether, but so fragile that if they simply poked it in the right direction, it would fall.

Not that it would be easy, as they soon found out. After all, the Blood God's hatred for those attuned to the winds of magic was notorious and both his servants and 'blessed' objects had protections against any type of sorcery attack. And as they struck at the mystical chain, the Necromancers found that the ritual sites had that same protection.

For when they struck, the wrath of the Blood God struck back. Many nearly fainted on the spot, their hold on their staff being the only thing supporting them. Others had blood dripping down from their eyes, noses, and ears. But even then, they still found strength to continue their mission.

At the site of battle, the tide was spinning to the side of the forces of the Dragon, as the forces of Khorne could only retreat as more and more of their numbers fell or were banished back to the pit that spawned them. But as they continued to fight, the Daemons noticed something was off inside the city.

The ritual sites allowed them to maintain their corporeal forms, thanks to near an endless supply of slaves that were daily sacrificed to the Blood God. And thanks to that, they had a link to it and so felt the attempt of the Necromancers to destroy the fragile chain that allowed them to remain in the Mortal World.

Quickly they rushed towards the city, ignoring the furious cries of their god's mortal servants as they were hacked or pierced to death by the millions of undead. Their retreat ‌into the city allowed the army of undead to push into the city at last.

But no matter how fast they ran, they wouldn't reach the Necromancers in time.

As for the Necromancers themselves, they steeled their resolve and once more delved into the depths of the Aether. And this time when the merciless fury of Khorne descended upon them, it was they that overwhelmed it.

Instantly the careful aetheric chain that allowed the daemons of Khorne to enter the world of mortals broke, and the daemons that were present and those far away that had depended on the city for its energy, flickered off existence, returning to the realm of souls. To their great fury.

The energies that were gathered by the ritual chain nearly spilled forth into the mortal world. It would have allowed the creation of a Warp Rift that would have unleashed untold numbers of Daemons upon the world. But the Necromancers did not allow it. Using the insight granted upon them when they saw their lord's creation give an Exalted Daemon True Death. They did the unthinkable and fought and bent the mystical energies of chaos until it was purified.

Of course, it was only a portion of it. After all, they didn't have the experience necessary to perform such an act.

Not only that, but they also failed at summoning one of their lord's servants. But that was an optional aim and not really important.

Back again on the front lines of the present conflict, losing their gods' servants only made the Warriors of Khorne fight harder. And while briefly they stopped the charge of the undead army, they were soon overwhelmed and soon wiped out from the city.

The city they reduced it to ash alongside the few surviving slaves that were in the custody of the forces of ruin. After all, their souls and bodies were already tainted. It would only be a matter of time before the whispers came, and they fell to the grip of the Blood God. It was better to deal with them now than later.

As they wrapped up, they received information from the Illuminated once more. The Elven had taken the city back from the enemy, and promptly burn it, and now seek to link their forces with the coalition of Kislev and Dwarves who have already taken and subsequently destroyed two cities in their path towards Praag.

*EXCELLENT*

gentlemen, the forces of order now are gathering their might, lets go fuck with chaos while were at it...also shame we didnt spend any of the stuff for omakes to get some servants of Dracul...would have been nice ya know. Otherwise, im looking forward to the "holy" ground itself...going to have fun with that shit-show with the general knowledge that we can do. Now if we hade some airbone stuff i would have some air superiority tactics involved, but none for now...still once we REALLY get some proper stuff going for our mortal army to gather upon themselves, things will get very interesting in combat indeed.

might be a good idea to go after the other ritual cities so when the many host of the Chaos force comes, they would have less Daemons help

For that was exactly what it was: a massive pool of boiling blood. Inside it were the pale bones of all the ones that had been sacrificed. It was a rather grim sight, especially since some skulls were rather small.
Remember necro-lads, if Chaos has their way they'll keep doing these things morality, sensibility or practicality be damned.
As for the Necromancers themselves, they steeled their resolve and once more delved into the depths of the Aether. And this time when the merciless fury of Khorne descended upon them, it was they that overwhelmed it.
Hey....mage empowerment. Noice.
Forces of Khorne: 3d200 + 40 (Minor Daemons of Khorne) + 25 (Daemon) + 20 (Blessing of Khorne) = 333
No lie, this had me worried
Sneaking into the city: 1d100 - 10 (Necromancy is not the best magic for this) = 58 Bare Success
If only we had Wizards that could be real sneaky when they needed to be, or some kind of .... shadow magic(?) to hide or were just super tricky:V. Ah well, I'm sure something will fix that with future Magic Technical School. (Note: I'm joking about Ulgu Magic)

hey we will be getting the magic schools up and running soon enough! just got to wait for the turns again! plus with dragon hatcheries, mage school, ect...our elite units will be our first response for awhile before our regular troops are set for the purposes we have them at. Plus with getting the basics of our realm fully developed, we have allot of fucking ground to deal with so our people 1) dont starve, 2) have basic needs met and thus not as prone to chaos influence, 3) get our military forces up to par (which case our living units will be dangerously ready and willing to kick some damn ass).

Don't worry, the chaos god which sacred number is 3 will not appear... in WHF at least, if the quest took place in 40k it would be very different.

ah fuck...we will have to eventually go there if we want to stop the chaos gods for good. Still, bringing the pantheon of Order would probably help allot since having multiple people check things over will let us keep things more stable.

that would require us to diplomatically approach the empire, the dawi, the elves (high elves), and maybe kislev...maybe.

Quote of the day: Lives are the Emperor's currency. Spend them wisely.

The Pillars: The Undead can be described many ways. An unnatural perversion to life in all forms. A grevious insult to the eyes of the Emperor. An unending tide of pure evil. Unfortunately not all of these things are net negatives. They can also be called highly efficient and industrious. That part much to the dismay of many can be labeled as true.

Midnight forges are arguably the most productive industrial centers in the galaxy. Arcana and technology working to meet the production quo. Tireless puppets of both metal and flesh manning the work levels. Overseers directing it all with mental commands. So it is no surprise that they are capable of immense projects. The likes of which that are almost unheard of in the rest of the galaxy. Including the building of immense megastructures upon their worlds and in their space. Something that only senior forgeworlds in the imperium possess. Something the Undead are building in large numbers unfortunately. All part of the development of their industry. Especially for the forgeworlds that have been fully converted to their standards.

By far one of the most significant projects undertaken by the Undead however, is the construction of the 'Pillars'. It is a bit daunting, to see it with your own eyes. Billions of tons of material is set aside for this momentous task. Massive cables as wide as a Titan form the core of the structures, affixed to massive space stations in orbit and anchored to the ground on platforms the size of a city, and hundreds of much smaller cables run between them in addition to the larger ones. Enormous elevator platforms are attached to the cables, fitted to carry immense cargoes and equipped with anti-gravity modules to reduce the strain on the system. With that may be seen as a finishing touch, this entire ensemble is covered up by sheets of plating, meant to protect the cables and the lifts. The end result are strutures that, from the ground, appear to be pillars of incredible size, reaching infinitely into the black jeweled skies of the Midnight worlds of the Undead. On average four such monstrosities are built, lining the equator and perfectly spaced from one another.

Not just the technology wither though. Arcana is heavily carved into the leviathan constructs. Countless runes being carefully embedded in the metal. Serving multiple purposes for this work. Primarily being to further reduce weight and reduce strain on other systems. Another being to manage the conditions of the pillars. Being to reduce heat build up and exploit the environment. Wind energy is converted into usable power for the pillars so to be a nonissue. The last purpose being to strengthen the metal used in all parameters. Such as increasing tensile strength and longevity.

Quote of the day: Lives are the Emperor's currency. Spend them wisely.

Nanotechnology: A rare and extremely complex form of technology. A remnant of the Dark Age of technology. Something rarely seen outside of elder forge worlds such as Mars. This form of technology is little understood by most. Indeed even few in the Mechanicus can reliably understand this field of technology. I can see why that might be. After all how could you reliably create something so small precisely. Let alone give it a way to really interact with the world. Not to mention how to program it at all.

Unfortunately the Undead heretics have no such issue. Their dark powers and nature allowing them to overstep many obstacles in research. So they have recreated this technology to a limited degree. Though it is far below what our ancestors once used. No rapidly producing everything they need. Thankfully no there are no grey tides engulfing the planets. Still it has proven to be a concerning boon to them.

Nano sifting: An industrial application of the technology. One that is commonly found on forge and mining worlds across the Ascendancy. One that provides a rather sizable boost to their operations. What is does is allow the heretics to squeeze out that much more material for them to use.

It is a bulky thing, meant to be integrated into the great refineries at an early step in the process, where the nanites forcibly separate metals and other useful materials from useless rock and sediment, the former passing along to be refined into metal while the latter is reduced to a fine powder and disposed of.

Nano welding: An industrial application of the technology. A surprisingly mundane one at that. Still one that given our enemy a boon. The machines greatly altering the industrial process of just about every assembly line. Allowing for fine precision welding and this increasing durability.

Appearing like a set of towers and gates that loom over the assembly line. When a piece of equipment or vehicle is passed through it, it releases a swarm of simple minded, microscopic machines that seek out the areas they are meant to join together. Out of necessity, their programming is simplistic, and can only understand how to weld a few different items at once, and must be reprogrammed in order to understand a different thing if the assembly line is shifted to handle something else.

Nano Recycling: Industrial processes tend to leave a surprisingly large amount of 'waste material', small bits and pieces or seemingly insignificant shavings or even piles of mineral dust. The idea behind the recyclers, is to simplify the process of reusing those materials, by having the nanomachines process the 'waste' into solid ingots, sorting one material from another in the process.

This also helps them recycle other things. Wreckage from the battlefield can be rapidly reclaimed and reused to build new machines.

Quote of the day: Lives are the Emperor's currency. Spend them wisely.

Vampires: The blood suckers of the night. The pale ones. Those who hate the light of the sun. The midnight aristocracy. All labels that these creatures wear. All of them just a reflection of the horror that is their existence. The nightmare that they represent on so many different levels. The sheer level of the threat that they pose to all things good.

The true masters of Undeath, they retain much of their original intelligence and capabilities despite their curse, and hence retain their ambition and desire. This makes them very dangerous indeed, for Vampires, due to their immortality, have an extensive period of time in which to hone their skills and refine their schemes to utter perfection.

They are living conduits of the power of Undeath. The servants of the dark dragon that are closest to it. Supposedly crafted in its own image. Even knowing the dark god as the Father of The Night. They are the stuff of nightmares given form. They are said to be the closest thing to perfection among the Undead outside of the god and it's servants. A naturally absurd idea as the only perfect being is the Emperor.

These monsters are in fact transformed humans. Vampire are created through a special ritual. One drains a persons blood while feeding them some of their own. This is known as the blood kiss. In the Ascendancy it is called an honor. For us it just shows their depravity.

Each vampire has a plethora of advantages. Possessing of supernatural beauty to the eye. The strength to tear through plassteel with their bare hands. The speed to outrun many vehicles and creatures. A functionally infinite well of stamina to draw from. The power to regenerate from normally fatal wounds. Great powers to twist the world to their will. And of course their vaunted immortality. It is easy to see why some might revere these creatures.

Do not be fooled though.

For all their refinement, they are but walking corpses held together by Dark Magic, and only those who feed well can maintain the illusion of beauty. Their souls damned to the depths of the Warp. The natural world rejects their presence. The light of the sun burning their flesh. The touch of silver doing the same. The light of the Emperor reveals their true nature. They can not stand before his holy icon and cannot tread upon holy ground.

Still these monsters are grave threats. Each one can wipe out entire squadrons even when newly made. As they grow older they only become more powerful. Their weaknesses slowly fading away over time. Each possessing natural abilities specific to their type with new ones appearing as they age and train. They are also rarely ever alone. They are pseudo nobility among the Undead. Often reigning over midnight worlds alongside their peers. Leading the armies and fleets of the unliving in war.

I will be look more into this matter.

oh god, the lich's would be horrific when he learns about them...and considering he is spreading this knowledge it works for Wallachia for more members to get this info, and thus the spread of knowledge empowers Dracul.

this will only worsen the situation heh...

Quote of the day: Lives are the Emperor's currency. Spend them wisely.

Strigoi: One of the five so called bloodlines of the vampires. They are also the ones that hide their vile nature the least. Within every vampire is a great beast. A carnivorous monster that exists only to hunt and feed on the living. For the most part the dark aristocrats hold in this monster. Maintaining their veneer of civility and beauty to a fine degree. Especially when they have access to a steady supply of fresh blood to feed on. The Strigoi do much the same for the most part. However in combat they embrace the beast.

The main power of this bloodline is that to change their shape. To take on more predatory forms at will and wreak havoc with them. And they do it well much to the dismay of good men. Of all the bloodlines they boast the most physical strength even without their bestial power. Being able to tear through tank armor with insulting ease. If at the expense of a reduced capacity for sorcery. Unfortunately that weakness is easily overcome through one method or another. Whether through training on their part. The use of sophisticated hextech devices or talismans of some kind. Or the one with the greatest results do something to please their dark master. Offering a sacrifice to the dark god is a likely way to gain boons from it. Typically the souls of many mortal men or someone of great significance. Often an Astartes or another elite for the latter or conquest of a planet.

There is no real universal trend for these monsters. Beyond that of them being horrific and deadly to the extreme. Their ability to shape their own bodies is truly astounding. Many choose to take to the air as a great bat like monster to strike from above or contest control of the skies. Others becoming a loping wolf like beast that tears through tanks with ease. More become flexible and serpentine slipping through tight spaces to reach their targets. Sprouting new limbs and parts as needed.

Even in human form the Strigoi often slip up. Their red eyes being predatory in appearance. Bodies that move and stalk like predators. Smiling too widely to be a natural human. Their teeth being just a bit too sharp in form. Nails and fingers being discolored. Some don't even really have a truly human form. Instead choosing to wear a hybrid one even outside of battle. Typically in the form of thick leathery wings. Sometimes they are more like those of a raven. Or perhaps a long serpentine tail with venomous barbs.

In combat they are a terrible force. Crushing all in their path and butchering those they reach. Often manifesting themselves as unstoppable juggernauts of corrupted flesh. Too hardy to really injure and regenerating too fast to make a difference.

They are often found on less developed worlds. Frontier and agri worlds seeming to be their preference. Possibly an aversion to more developed planets like hive and forge worlds.

Quote of the day: Lives are the Emperor's currency. Spend them wisely.

Necrarch: One of the five so called bloodlines of the vampires. Arguably the most reclusive of their kind. Seeming to have an almost scholarly disposition. Frequently noted to work with the Necrotects (fallen tech priests) on their projects. Being the most difficult to pin down in their home territory along with being a highly dangerous and unpredictable force on the battlefield.

The main power of this bloodline is that of dark magic. The Necrarchs boast an unparalleled affinity for sorcery among their kind. Being able to gain significantly greater results from a spell than a peer of similar age and power. This is especially dangerous when you take into two certain facts. Vampires are in general highly resistant to any form of Warp contamination easily shrugging off any attempts by Chaos for the most part. Their nature making sure the dark gods cannot interfere with them like that. And two Vampires boast immortality in their own way. Meaning they have a functionally unlimited amount of time to study and hone their craft.

If at the expense of a reduced capacity for physical exertion than their cousins. Unfortunately that weakness is easily overcome through one method or another. Whether through training on their part. The use of sophisticated hextech devices or talismans of some kind. Some simply don't place themselves anywhere it would be needed. Or more likely the one with the greatest results do something to please their dark master. Offering a sacrifice to the dark god is a likely way to gain boons from it. Typically the souls of many mortal men or someone of great significance. Typically an Astartes or another elite in regards to the latter. Or the conquest of a planet.

Necrarchs fight cautiously in the field. Rarely leaving the safety of their army or stronghold if they can help it. Preferring to cast their works from a secure position. Something they do quite well unfortunately. Their spells causing the dead to pull themselves back together endlessly so long as they are active. To breaking down enemy weapons to remove resistance. To outright unleashing spells of death to kill en masse.

Physically they stand out as a bit different to their fellows. Being noticeably smaller and frailer than their peers. Of course frail for a vampire is still strong enough to tear a man apart with ease. Often they possess grey and white streaks in their hair. They also frequently carry around trinkets with them. Things such as staffs or canes. Occasionally pendants with certain effects imbued into them.

They are often found on more developed worlds. Shrine and forge worlds appearing to be favorites of theirs. The former due to reality warping effects present to strengthen their craft. The latter for more materials to conduct their experiments. To be expected given their nature.
