I'm definitely keeping her next spec as a surprise. She'll be changing specs soon anyway, since it's monday in story and X/X-2 runs out on thursday. We just have to get through all those interludes first.

Yeah that is also another possibility. It hurts so much when the final villain of the campaign ends up fumbling all their rolls while the damn npc squire follower ends up with god-like rolls and practically solos something that should rightfully smear him across the floor. The next adventure was interesting though, since it consisted of the party now believing the best thing they can do for their ex-squire-now-knight friend is get him hooked up with the king's daughter for reasons. So many plans ruined because my players decided their new friend has to get hitched right now and thus they need to travel to the other side of the kingdom causing me to make shit up on the spot. At least the small tournament I had them do gave me time to bullshit enough stuff to make things work.
This would involve Addy actually wanting to help Cauldron. Her opinions on them are not charitable. Though I'm not sure it'd actually boost all the shards High Priest touches, or if it'd actually charge anything by a meaningful amount. He'd be better off with a Ragnarok ring.
I once had party wipe due to the distraction. Literally two under level mooks sent to distract the party so their friends could prepare an ambush, and they wiped the party. The dice gods give and take.
I don't sure they'll be considered a party members.
With the way Addy is and the way this story is going I'm just gonna assume that her next spec is whatever is the most terrifying and batshit thing possible. Could always sell to cauldron instead, they're rich as sin and have access to extremly rare materials Including power vials to use on others or to tinker with. For a solution to Elodons powers, or even countering the effects of there more discontiued dangerous and powerfull vials, They might even let you negotiate for the use of the garden of flesh.
