Right, thought so about Necromancy at least. Lelouch likes thinking people

So yeah demon summoning would likely be the most used spell

Canonically Sorcery is kind of a mess, and necromancy is way worse.

Sorcery is way better only because Demon summoning grant to the user dozens of options.

Some charms in Sidereal Archery is a good pick for Oramus effects. Shoot improbable object and fire abstract concepts.
Hmm.
A variant of Any Direction Arrow, so that it makes an attack of any kind come from any direction, allowing it to ignore penalties (up to 50% cover)
Many Missiles Bow Technique, though adapted for any form of attack would also work.
Life Gets Worse Approach might be fun (attack that pulls other attacks at your target)

You use Sorcery for AOE army killing. Or quick healing. Or any number of stuff that your build isn't good for.

For Example: Infernals have no healing outside of sorcery, custom charms and Kimbury Mythos Exultant.

Actually by taking By rage recast you can take "Regeneration" mutation which heals 1 lethal hlvl per round or 2 blunt hlvl. SHLIHN has a few charms when upgraded that heals pretty good. But comparatively few healing charms yes.

I was thinking just the one that lets you fire chickens as arrows, and the upgrade that lets you pull love out of the air to shoot. Though those are good too.

So, I'm trying to think of how we might use our Charms in the most broken ways possible as is only right and proper, and it seems to me that Deadly Trompe l'oeil is perfect for fighting Nightmares and probably even Warstriders.

As it allows the Infernal to attack anyone who has attacked him regardless of distance, in Knightmare combat if another Knightmare attacks you just use this Charm and throw a grenade into the enemy's cockpit from your own, or just shoot them, or what have you. And if the Charm can't actually do that, we could create a custom Charm to build on it that does - as if Oramus could be denied his true target by a mere barrier of armor plating.

I will not have it! Go now and be back in the next seven minutes or I swear you won't like the consequences!" The guards' terror is evident on their faces, and two of them rush to get approval after a quick "Yes, My Lord!" Not long after, they return. (alright, this is...Did a Sidereal just helped you somehow? Not only all terrorists retreat safely, while saving a lot of civilians met per chance, you also heavily damaged the Lancelot)

(You pull off the Internal Affairs magnifically)

PS: The Ebon Dragon's First Excellency was used. I suppose he supports the things that please him, if nothing else.

Just as planned.

A combination of Lelouch taking the threat seriously rather than blaming the terrorists for incompetence and Kallen not being in a Knightmare Frame that is two generations out of date and missing one arm might explain this. Still, heavy damage to the Lancelot. Wow.

I'm not too familiar with exalted rules* but going by Enjou's post and assuming a standard passing roll of 7 we got:

14 successes on 14 dice for retreating.
8 successes on 12 dice for infiltration
7 successes on 12 dice for intimidation

*Please tell me if I'm misunderstanding or wrong.

Good morning! New day, new proposals. Here's a new Charm added:
Glimpsed Through A Warped Mirror
Cost: 14m, 2wp; Mins: Essence 4; Type: Simple
Keywords: Shaping, Sorcerous
Duration: One Scene
Prerequisite Charms: Seven Signifiers of Self, Masque of Hollow Faces, Name Shrouded Under Veils, False Identity Internalisation

Oramus is a dragon with seven wings. He is also a temple with seven minarets, an ourobouros-serpent of seven colours, a galleon with seven masts anchored to a single pearl, and many more besides. These are facets of the true Oramus in all the infinite realities where he is manifest - they are the selves he is in many other worlds. Using this Charm the Infernal shifts shape to match one of the personalities created through Masque of Hollow Faces: he may be a scholar, a martial artist, a businessman or even an animal such as a peacock or eagle. Gender does not matter.

He can change his Attributes, removing one dots from one and assign them to another, through he must retain at least one dot in each Attribute; he can do the same with his Abilities, without the need to keep at least one dot in the affected Ability, and even choosing five new Favorite Abilities, through he cannot change the Caste ones. Specialties follow the same rules of Abilities, plus they can be renamed to fit the new circumstances.

The warlock can also assign new Merits and Flaws. For each point of Merit he must take a negative one in Flaw, so that the sum is always zero.

Equipment and clothing change with him but retain their attributes, modifying their shape to accommodate the new self. Artifacts do not lose attunement but are unaffected by the change, retaining their shape and attributes.

Backgrounds cannot be changed unless they represent an internal quality of the character rather than an external socioeconomic advantage, such as Breeding, Heart's Blood, Savant, Solar Bond, Whispers, etc. The character retains his memories and sense of self except to the degree that shifts in Virtues, Intimacies and Motivation adjust his behavior.

Forcing himself to take the shape of what he could have been in another world is taxing however, and the character may only maintain this capability until the next Scene. The Infernal always maintains the seven signifiers of who he is in some fashion on his body, for otherwise he would not be himself. They remain Obvious as the prerequisite, through no known form of Essence's sight or Charms can penetrated the disguise itself: even when he is a possibility from What Could Have Been the Infernal is still himself. The Charm's effect may be broken early by the use of Sapphire Countermagic.
You like? Now I only need either a repurchase or a supplementary Charm, or more than one, to allow the following: switch between forms as a Reflexive action like in Masque of Hollow Faces (optional), change the Artifacts (optional), change the Caste, change the type of Exaltation, choosing new Charms, make the seven signifiers of self not Obvious, become something else entirely like a normal human, Demon, God (optional), change the duration to Indefinite (optional).

Ideas?
I like the concept but it is a bit too overpowered as it is now mechanically. It basically allows you to respect your character on a scene by scene basis with no limit other than not touching charms. Maybe instead of a flat mote cost it costs say 1 mote per attribute dots redistributed and 1 mote per every 2 attribute dots and a limit of not increasing any attribute/ability by more than (essence-2) dots. (an alternative is to count any added dots due to this charm as dice added by charms and not letting you break your dicecap) This makes it cheaper for small changes but discourages you from suddenly shifting from one build completely to another at the drop of a hat without much cost. Is a social focused character suddenly going from bookworm with no combat abilities or good physical attributes to maxed mote pools in moments really balanced it breaks their dice caps.

A third way of balancing it is to have to pick a single identity for the charm to grant and require repurchases to get more.

A forth way would be to simply put a cap on redistributed dots to a set value like say (essence*2).

Do you think the motes cost is too much, or work as it is?
As Enjou said it is intended to be combined with Play the Music, Play the Lights to reduce the cost and surprise attacks are very powerful in exalted where they completely bypass non-soak defenses against anyone without a surprise negator. With exalted dicepools that is about as close as you get to autokills as you can get with a single charm.

Against anyone that isn't an experienced and paranoid exalt this is an I Win charm. Against them it is only hax if you are in the Wyld and you are forcing them to spend more motes on defending against you than you are using the charm.
