Hm... I forgot the Abyssals outnumber the Infernals 2 to 1.

It may be necessary to reach out to other Exalted groups, like the Lunars.

More like a problem. The straw that broke the camels back, maybe, but given the woman's situation, I really doubt Kallen alone was the only thing pushing her down.

It actually works better. The obssession eyes thing will be working anyway, and them focusing on a mysterious beauty has many advantages.

My point is that Exalts might notice something involving Essence is going on with our eyes that have impossible colors. That could be problematic, unless @Alexander89 wants to correct some kind of misunderstanding I have about how they work and the Obvious tag.

The good thing is that they don't know about us so would have no reason to put their research Charms into fucking us over.
And "sealed away and tortured creatures" are a good bit more sympathetic than "creatures that want to kill everything", so we can probably more easily get Solar support than they can.
And if we can just set up the Princes to all work together, well, the Abyssals can't all be here, can they?

Plus, Demons > Ghosts.
Besides, Abyssals also lack Holy charmtech, IIRC, so that's something that suddenly gets much better for us.

That was the logical conclusion of this and the last choice. Not following canon leads to a different conclusion, but at leas now Kallen can actually talk with her mother.

Dual Gaze Paradox is Obvious only to someone who is looking at you straight in the eyes. It's also obvious when using it to, say, try to pierce magical disguises, but otherwise those are the conditions for DGP to be Obvious.
 
So Lulu-chan is not going to wear glasses? That and trying not to look people in the eye could help avoid possibly setting people off, but it could make us look a bit shy.

That said, is it a forgone conclusion that Lulu is going in drag? IC Lulu seems to be rather resistant to that sort of thing....

No one has voted for it yet... Ha, but it would be something that Milly would suggest. Milly is a gift tbh.
 
Just use crossdress as a tag and be done with that no need to go looking for a word in another language so the mods wont be justifiably upset with you using a slur.

....okay, looks like there's something I missed here. Why would the mods got triggered by the item hunter used? It's a common term in anime.

Some of them should know that right?

It's the connotation it carries. A 'trap' in the classical meaning is something negative. Something you prepared to deal somebody harm from an unexpected way. Something proactively malicious.

It's like 'Retard' and 'Autistic'. Most people don't mean to use it in a malicious context, merely using it as a meme and sub-culture term. This does not absolve it from it's connotations however, and thus can hurt some people.

'Trap' in anime is exactly that. A term that rose as a joke and became a term used in the anime sub-culture to refer to cross-dressers. Outside that context however it is quite derogatory and hurtful to call somebody who does that a 'trap'.

I think it was that people were being disrespectful but I can't find the source.

Found it Rule 2 of don't be hateful

We expect, for example, that you will gender everyone appropriately. We expect that you will not refer to anyone by what might reasonably be considered a slur: don't use retard, jap, or trap for example.

Details: We need an ID which is both believable enough for a bunch of stuffed shirt nobles, but flimsy enough to be fabricated fairly quickly.

I'm thinking we call Deithard in on this for help, maybe? He definitely knows who's-who in the circles of nobility. We should also probably get either him or someone else to try and get a full guest list so we don't create an ID which will be easily compromised by someone who should know them, but doesn't.

Maybe a daughter of a recently deceased noble or one who's currently on vacation to the homeland? Alternative a daughter of someone relatively obscure from the homeland who is, herself, on vacation to Area 11.

Ideas, anyone?

    • hi everyone It is true that us mods do ' throw a hissyfit' as it was so eloquently put by one poster, but we are also quite capable of using our sense of critical thinking and showing mercy, in cases where no harm was done. Many transgender people consider trap a most unfortunate word with implications that they are not at all pleased with, the one thing that Sufficient Velocity has always held sacred is 'be excellent to each other, for that is never wrong', and I will reiterate that principle here. I would be most pleased if you refrained from using it, or used another term (like transgender or otokonoko which was already raised) in the future.

    Normally such an offense would usually require me to give a warning for marginal behaviour as a response to a first offense and later scale up to infractions upon repeat breaches, but that won't be the case this time; I'm going to ask you nicely, and I hope and think that you'll remember that for the good of everyone.

    Thank you for your time. No infractions or warnings will be given today. :smile:

    Plan "Crossdressing Lelouch" (this should be fine for a name) is indeed something Lulu would be opposed to...however, there are circumstances that can make him accept it, even if he would not be happy about it.
     
    So, if we're doing crossdressing Lelouch, we're going to need more than just that. So, here's my idea for the actual appearance.

    The girl in the little black dress. Extremely pale skin, with raven-black straight hair down to her shoulder blades. The dress is black, symetrical, with a hem down to the knees, a neckline just below the collarbone. She wears large sunglasses at all times, even at night. The only bit of color you see is her full, blood-red lips. She's the sort that most can remember attending this sort of event, thougb not in Area 11 before, and nobody seems to remeber more than her presence for sure.
