I like this version the most, and if we are getting the Deceiver's Stone on top of that to alleviate the Charisma penalty further, I have no aversion for getting WtD. Especially if we are getting it free.

EDIT: Or wait. Does it work with the Earthscorpion's version? Or do the different mechanics make it non-appliable for bypassing the penalty?

Honestly this whole argument is just annoying. Yes, sometimes charisma and manipulation do the same thing. It's called 'interacting with other people'.
 
I honestly don't care which version we get.
 
Does the third version allow the use of the Deceiver's Stone? Because if so, I'd back it.

Good question. I suppose that, for an increase to 2-3 dots, I can add the following text:
Alternatively, the bearer of this stone may treat honest and straightforward social attacks as if they were inherently deceptive ones and vice versa.

And/Or:

The bearer of this stone may treat any Charisma-based social attack in which the Infernal tries to persuade the target of something she believes is true as being Manipulation-based attacks that aim to convince the target of something the Infernal believes is false.

In any case the Deceiver's Stone is explicitly made to work around the social penalties of Witness to Darkness, no matter the version. Considering this came up in Ink Monkeys, I think it was a subtle attempt by the writers to make TED's Charms more palatable.

Because I frankly trust Alexander more to make something that fits well within the game he's running, than ES' general version to do the same.

Most of us agreed earlier in discussion that this was what the Charm was meant to be in the first place and that it was a hell of a lot more palatable, and more in line with the Charm's original intent. I don't really see the need for this vote.

@Alexander89 - just a piece of advice. As the GM, sometimes you just need to tell a player that things are as they are and they just need to live with it. One player's issues with a mechanic should not disrupt the quest.

...Hmm. Well, I guess I'm gonna have to come up with something different for my character then. Ah well, Isidoros was being a pain anyway. The Fate-avoidance stuff in 'Nemesis of Destiny' stuff was great, but everything else was too combat-focused.

Well, my dude works with Taakozoka as well, so you can take Isidoros if you want and i will change mine.

Let's talk about our current XP:

14 votes + 5 Scene + 4 Scene Objective Completion + 5 current XP + 10 (gained creating GSP) = 38 XP total.

I think we should buy Fourth devil Soul Domain, Flowers Bloom Like Madness and Muse of Unearthly Delights. Ths allows us to start spawning new souls. Fourth devil soul domain so that we can meaningfully interact with our new deva and Seryun.

Insane Graceful Movements so our speeches became UMI.

And we should start to train Occult. Right now, Lulu doesn't know how his powers work, and that is a significant disadvantage. And, even more important, we need Occult 3 to learn Sorcery and start to summon demons.

That would left us 3 XP.

I do hope you will try to avoid Area 10. A lot of people there has Intimacy "Hatred (Spain)". :V

Can we get an summary of territories that China controls? I have plans on Southeast Asia so info would be wonderful. I could of course write more stuff on Creation's History again and expand on more stuff, like the butterflies caused by Britannia and now defunct Dutch Empire, but I would like to have your go ahead first.
