Actually, I think I'll switch to this one. It's neat, I'unno.

Forgive me for double posting Heh, someone posted while I was writing this.

I wanted to address the most popular vote write in.

I'm admittedly not the biggest fan about this since it doesn't act as the big potentially life-changing decision the vote is supposed to be about. I.e. Verge decided to try and directly support his friend via strength and heroism or realizing that he can't and trying to take a different path.

This write in is and forgive me for using this phrase. Wishy washy uncertainty. It doesn't change Verge since he's already unsure about the subject. It just puts off making that decision.

Not that it isn't in character. The vote is technically acceptable

Edit: And Promosing Flamemon wins!

===

With tears streaming down your face, you open your mouth and give the fiery digimon your answer.

"I... We will. Flamemon, when that day comes I'll be strong enough to follow you. N-No! I'll join you as a fellow hero!"

I-I may have never wanted to be one but... I'll force myself to change. I'll make myself into someone that Flamemon can be proud of. Someone Lunamon and Thresh can look up to. Someone that can become a hero just like him.

"Ha! Ha! Well said!" Your best friend replies, casually throwing an arm around your shoulders. "I always knew you could say those words Verge!" he flashes you a jubilant grin before bringing his free hand into your line of sight as a thumbs-up. "I may not be there to see it, but my friend, I know you will succeed!" with that the digimon steps back a waves for you to come walk with him "Now come on! Let's go home, Fellow Hero!"

Th-thanks. I-I hope... No! I Won't let you down!

===That night:

You find yourself cowering before the massive metal figure once again, spots of pain erupting form your body as pain of what he'd done comes blaring back to life. With a whimper you curl up, paws going over your eyes in an attempt to maybe escape the situation by not seeing it anymore. However, you know it's futile. It didn't work the last time you tried it, or the many occasions before that. So you hunker down and prepare for the abuse which had always come before.

Only, it doesn't. Instead two firm but not painful grips descend on your arms, then slowly begin prying your paws away from your face. The figure kneels over you, its impassive, emotionless blue eyes staring you straight in the eyes and after a minute finally speaks.

"My actions have always had purpose, Scion. Only the strong can find peace in this world. The weak merely exist as data for the strong. You will understand that one day. Or... you will perish"

And just like that the PAIN starts up again.

===

You manage to mercifully wake up before the dream can continue and give a quick silent thanks to the sun for releasing you from that torment. The faint rays of morning light had peaked through the hole you'd made in the hut earlier and are now falling upon your closed eyelids. For a moment your fatigued mind contemplates rolling over and trying to sleep again, but those thoughts are soon thwarted by the possibility of returning to one of those dreams arises. So instead, you groggily open your eyes, pull the KoDokugumon off of your face and extricate yourself from Thresh's presence.

Stepping out of the hut, you can't help but get a slight feeling of nervousness due it being the day of festival. Gramps has been going on about it since the month began and you can't help but feel a little strange that it's actually happening now.

This whole month… I've been well… me from the start of this month to the end. I hatched on the… 10nth? I think the 16nth, of the last month, so this was my first full one. Weird to think about...

Because of the dream, you seem to have woken up prior to anyone else besides Sorcerymon. Which means you don't have much to do besides digging or getting breakfast. Since the former would mean having to sneak past the sleeping form of Fu by the gate (*Boy* you wish she'd sleep with her mouth closed, that's a lot of teeth…), you choose the latter and begin padding over towards Sorcerymon.

It's not until you've nearly reached the vendor that you finally realize that this is the last day you'll spend with Flamemon for a while. A profound sense of sadness assaults your core at the fact, but something else a - strange sense of strength - pushes the wave back as your promise to him comes to mind.

After shrugging the sudden bout of emotion off, you finish your trek and make it to the merchant's usual spot. By now the white champion has packed up most of his wares aside from a couple of small bags and as you arrive he's already pulling out a trio of meals from his mealsack. You quickly fork over the required bits and scoff down the pawful of food. By now it's not really enough to state your morning hunger, but you're not willing to pay any more for the meal considering you're also paying for Thresh's and Lunamon's breakfast.

Once it's fully down, you stop to take a breath and then sheepishly admit that you'll miss your magical mentor. While it's true that you hadn't spent that much time with the strangely speaking mon aside from the magical lessons, the Sorcerymon had managed to endear himself to you. It hadn't been easy to turn down his offer of an apprenticeship. The champion reciprocates in his own way, saying "The feeling is mu-tu-al and that he'll "Miss a little feller like yerself". You almost leave to go give your siblings their breakfast, but stop as something important comes to wind.

Whirling back, you begin to hurriedly ask him about that Tiara... Only to find it already out and offered towards you. The Sorcerymon wishes you "Good luck" which is honestly a bit confusing, but you shrug it off, secure the tiara in your satchel and pay the merchant off using the rest of your money.

Now bereft of even a single bit, you begin heading back to your hut, ready to wake the two sleeping digimon therein and feed them. However, before you can even speak, a mass of snarling digimon tackle your form. Thresh and all six of the spiders do their best to *attack* you, nipping at your ankles, climbing up onto your fur and generally just trying to bite whatever they can. You do some half hearted struggling in the entrance, lightly bat at a few them just light enough that they're not ripped free from your body then intentionally fall back as to avoid accidentally crushing any of them. Despite the act of playing dead, you can't stop yourself from grinning.

Thresh cries out in victory leaping atop your body and rushing for your bag in an attempt to steal the food within. Knowing that he probably won't stop at just his meal and not wanting him to get Lunamon's share, you sit up and lightly knock the small black digimon away. He growls up at you, something four of the six spiders join in on, but this stops as you reach in and pull out one of Sorcerymon's pre-made meals. The very next instant sees him standing at rigid attention, clearly not willing to risk your displeasure if it means missing out on the food.

Quickly you toss the mon his meal, then move over to the still sleeping Lunamon and place the other meal by her still sleeping face. By now none of the spiderlings would dare risk her wrath, so you're confident none of them will try to steal the meal from her before she wakes up.

You take a second to look more closely over each of the KoDokugumon and have a small realization. Namely that they probably need nicknames of some sort to help differentiate between them. Padding over the swarm (which are enraptured at the sight of what Thresh is eating, you begin look them over. Then a moment later you begin picking each baby mon up in sequence before giving the names out.

Gnash (One who fights with Thresh)

Snare (Thresh's underling)

Scourge (Webbing builder) (Enjoys looking at Sorcerymons wares)

Grip (Webbing builder) (Enjoys napping)

Warren (Digger, sleeps by your face)

Prancer (One that takes after Lunamon by dancing)

The KoDokugumon seem to for the most part like their new nicknames and a 'Warren' even manages to say his!...Well almost. However you really didn't expect his voice to be so deep.

From there the day goes on fairly normally, with everyone else slowly waking up over the course of the next few hours and most seeming rather excited for the festival. Gramps himself spends the entire morning making something special in his cauldron using the plants you'd gathered with Fu weeks ago. Sorcerymon and Lunamon help him out, the latter providing water while the latter uses some sort of magic to help it cook. It smells weird, but in a strangely good way.

Meanwhile, the various streams and banners are set up around the village, each bearing a strange symbol of some kind.

Due to Gramps' cooking, when lunch arrives the standard fare of stew is put on hold. Instead of the mix of meat spices and vegetables, Sorcerymon provides the meal, giving out a free lunch of *Sandwiches* to everyone as part of the occasion. The only one who has to eat something else is Fu, as due to her size the champion is forced to devour a couple loaves of travel bread.

After everyone has eaten their first course the bowls and spoons are brought out once again as Gramps finally serves what he calls "Chocolate Pudding", which turns out to be the most delicious thing you've ever eaten. Ever. The sweet taste and odd texture are mouth-wateringly delicious, leading you to quickly ask for seconds, thirds, and even a fourth bowl. Sadly it's Fu who ends up getting the majority of the *desert*, once again thanks to her massive size. You do your best not to hold a grudge over it even as you lick your bowl clean in an attempt just to get a little bit more. For the first time in your life you feel impatient to just digivolve already, if being a champion means you get to eat so much food.

Once everyone has polished their meals off and been sated, Gramps stands up and begins to explain why the festival is even a thing.

=

"Hrmph! Listen up!" The red Elecmon grunts, getting the attention of you and the other villagers. "The Festival Of Light is a time for celebration! The ten months of this year are nearly up and with it a new year will begin." The scarred rookie lowers his head. "It is now that we give thanks to The Ten, for it is they who are responsible for our ability to exist!"

...I feel like he's about to tell a story.

"Long ago when the digital world was threatened in its infancy, ten brave digimon banded together to defend it! Together, they cast down the fallen angel who tried to plunge it into chaos, with most sacrificing their lives in the process." Gramps takes a breath, pausing his impassioned explanation for a moment. "The few that remained tirelessly worked for our benefit, teaching the digimon that survived the cataclysm, founding civilization itself and allowing life to prosper under their protection. Even now, Ancients City stands firm as the home of the Sefirot Faith!"

This… Gramps words seem oddly different. Like-like they're from some other mon.

"Huh. So that's what it's called." Sparks excitedly chimes in "Thanks Gramps!" The villages caretaker shoots the fiery rookie a glare for the interruption, but then continues a few moment later.

"Now all that remains of our magnificent saviors are their powerful spirits! Powerful artifacts left behind from when they passed on from this world. Each one carries remnants of their divine power and are enshrined in temples all over the world!" He takes another couple seconds to breath, then mumbles something in his usual voice. "Saw one once. It was powerful, I'll say that much."

Huh... That is. That's interesting. I-I think I can understand why the're seen as important... Wait, ten months? I-is... are they named after those digimon? Is there a Darknessmon or something?

Before you can continue your thoughts, Gramps coughs before speaking up again.

"We have a special performance for today." The old rookie says, turning his head to look right at your little sister.

Lunamon hesitantly stands up, looking very nervous as she realizes that everyone else's attention is on her, and somewhat nervously begins fiddling with her hands. The small rookie fidgets in place and tries to speak, but only manages to get out a few "Umms" and "Ahs", before falling silent. It continues for a few awkward moments before you pad in front of her and begin fiddling with your bag. A moment later you hook your recently purchased gift on a claw, then pull the Tiara free.

She completely freezes upon seeing the piece of headgear, driven completely speechless by the sight of her present. You open your mouth to tell her about it, but Lunamon moves first, lunging forward with blinding speed and snatching it free from your paw.

"Oh my gosh Oh my gosh Oh my gosh! This is it! The tiara, just like in the Teevee!" Lunamon giddily fawns over the object, grinning with all her might as she looks the expensive object over. "You're the best big brother ever, Verge!" The rookie positively squeals, nearly hurting your ears. Then with a small flourish, she places it upon her brow.

"Y-you're welcome." You reply, thankful that your fur can hide your blush.

With that your sibling spins once, then leaps up and over the gathered crowd and lands in the empty space right in front of the huts.

"Fufufu, This should be good."

Lunamon closes her eyes, takes a deep breath... Then begins to dance and sing.

"Aitai na aenai na setsunai na kono kimochi ienai no Iitai no! CHANSU nogashite bakari!"

"Datte (datte) Datte (datte) tsubasa hiroge futari de sora wo MARASON yume wo YUNIZON shitai!"

"Hora Catch You Catch You Catch Me Catch Me!"

"Matte kotchi wo muite SUKI da to itte!"

"Sou Nice to Meet You Good to See You kitto!"

"Atashi no omoi anata no HA-TO ni tonde tonde tonde yuke!

"KO - I - SHI - TE - 'RU!"

Beautiful.

Lunamon finishes off her song with a final flip back, landing back on her feet and thrusting both her arms straight into the air. Now managing to actually land the move she's failed a few days back in the hut.

As one, the entire village erupts into fanfare as her performance draws to an end, with even Gramps of all mon clapping along to express his enjoyment.

However this is all overshadowed as a booming sound erupts from over the village.

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

"My my, that was quite the performance. You're so scrumptious I could just. Eat. You. Right. Up."

Wh-who's that?

You shakily turn your head to look at the source of the voice and spot a strange, very feminine looking humanoid digimon descending out of the air. Lunamon sees her too and freezes up, suddenly too scared to even move.

The dark-clothed, lanky mon is terrifying to look at, her very presence sending your instincts screaming into overdrive. It's like her presence is a physical force, weighing down on you with ten tons of pressure. Dozens of thoughts rip through your head at rapid pace, but the most common one is screaming for you to turn and run. But... under that there's something else. her red eyes. They look somehow... Familiar.

Sorcerymon suddenly bursts into action, raising his staff at the new mon, and begins rapidly chanting, desperately trying to form some sort of spell-

-only to be sent flying away through the air as the demonic-looking digimon is just suddenly there, standing where he used to be with her right arm held out as if she's just finished backhanding something. Did… did she move? No, that couldn't be possible, right? You can't help but blink fearfully and shrink back at the very idea. Flamemon bursts onto his feet, summoning fire to his hands, but not daring to actually attack her.

Fu rises up into the air in surprise, momentarily frightened by the event, but a moment later you see her eyes narrow as the Sunflowmon readies herself for a fight.

I-I-I Didn't even see her move!

"Oh? An agent of the host here? Interesting. I'll play with you later." The dark mon says with a small chortle, her tone so clipped and casual as to be downright business like, before turning to the gathered crowd "You have all been very naughty little digimon haven't you. Foiling The Gloaming's operations to expand. Tut, tut, tut. Now it's time for your punishment."

Gramps shakily hops up in front of her...Then bows his head so fast it smashes against the ground.

Gramps? I-is she really that strong?!

"I did everything!" He shouts, tone willed with nothing but utter desperation. "None of the others were involved!"

"AHaHaHaHaHaHa!" Her scalding laughter bleeds forth seemingly without end. "Cute gesture. But that's a lie." Her mouth twists into a pleased smirk "But, there's no need to worry. I'm not going to delete any of you"

"R-really?" you question, letting a small hint of hope slip in.

"Yes." She agrees placing her non-clawed hand to the center of her chest. "I'm not a monster after all"

Oh-Oh Then. Then we're okay. Everything... Everything is going to be alright.

At her words, one of the KoDokugumon and the Tanemon hesitantly step away from the group to stand in front of her.

"D-do you want to be my friend too?" The In-Training mon questions hopefully while her companion KoDokugumon, the one you dubbed *Prancer*, begins to dance beside her. "

The tall, wispy digimon seems to consider the offer for a moment, her clawed hand reaching up to carefully rest on her chin.

A moment later she casually raises a foot slightly into the air and brings it down in an imperceptible blur of motion.

*Squish*

The baby mon isn't just crushed so much as he explodes into a cloud of data from the sheer force of her stomp.

"Aaaaaaah!" The Tanemon screams.

N-no!

You barely move half a step before the piercing red eyes focus directly upon you, and the very next moment your body simply refuses to move.

"But, little mole... I am a Liar."

I want to personally delete her. I really do. However she an Ultimate. And we're a at best a Strong Rookie so what can we even do to her? At this point I rather try to lower the casualty rate as much as possible by removing the weakest mon from the combat zone.

Can't say I'm surprised about this, but I am surprised that someone sent a ultimate to smash a village of freaking rookies.

As there that is a level of over kill you just don't see very often and uses a asset that can't be all the easy to use on something so minor all told.

Now for the vote, yeah this is going to lead us to the rage and wrath path here no matter what. Since our choices here are just going to be who is going to die doing what.

Because Flame, Gramps, Fu and Sorcerymon are dying today aren't they? Since I can't see any of those four either running or having the means to do so without the ultimate killing them.

If you're correct then this could be the shift needed to give Verge the Lone Hero personality archtype or at least the opportunity to shift to it considering what our last vote was, so who's up for maxing Verge's stats for Dorulumon.

@drexal15, what happened to my 2 points that should have gone into Agility?

And we're a at best a Strong Rookie so what can we even do to her?

That actually fits us to a bill, since drexal told us that a normal rookies potential stats goes up to 150

Can't say I'm surprised about this, but I am surprised that someone sent a ultimate to smash a village of freaking rookies.

As there that is a level of over kill you just don't see very often and uses a asset that can't be all the easy to use on something so minor all told.

I'm not really surprised since we went out of our way to disturb their operation and then fed off their original attack that was meant to wipe us out

You know whats funny about this, if we hadn't done the former and just stuck to defending our-self then I'm pretty sure this situation would have never arrived at this point, because those who would have been bothered by us wouldn't have been high enough in the chain of command,

However since we took care of the mooks, we forced the stronger mons to take notice of us, because we got in the way of their goals

Because Flame, Gramps, Fu and Sorcerymon are dying today aren't they? Since I can't see any of those four either running or having the means to do so without the ultimate killing them.

Fu maybe not, because she looked scared, however, it is clear that she wouldn't get away, given that ladydevimon has not reason to let us get away and every reason to torment us

That being said

If you're correct then this could be the shift needed to give Verge the Lone Hero personality archtype or at least the opportunity to shift to it considering what our last vote was, so who's up for maxing Verge's stats for Dorulumon.

I agree with Zwart Jaeger here, that this is an opportunity for Dorulumon, however not in the usual sense, but rather for what might happen here given that Flamemon might die today

I'm talking about DNA-Evolution,

Given that Flamemon will fight regardless of the odds in order to save us, it's also a given that he will be injured, most likely even critically and yet will still try to fight on, because of his burning passion

And then you have Verge who because of his oath and his devotion will try to stand by Flamemons side

If you then throw in Verge trying for the first time to be a hero in form of the vote, despite it being the most horrible situation he has ever been in

Then you might get them both desperate and in-sync enough to go for the DNA-Evolution,

Which should allow us to evolve Dorulumon due the high stats and the hero persona, that their combined spirit may carry,

It is also the only way I can see us most of us surviving, without being enslaved to the Gloaming

Also for those going for Wrath, please don't

See this,

But... under that there's something else. her red eyes. They look somehow... Familiar.

This had two possibilities, either that she is somebody out of Verge's past life or that her eyes also carry the same kind of wrath that Verge has
Either way, going for Wrath here will gather us the wrong kind of attention and might even cause her to be interested in us, something we should definitely avoid since it will most likely lead us to being taken away, regardless of the outcome

Since that is all I can think of at the moment, let's just pray to spirit of Fire and hope stuff will work out somehow

[X] You made a promise to Flamemon. Now... Now it's time to try and live up it. You'll attempt to break free out of your own will and help your friend defeat this... Defeat this villain! Or at least you have to try. Even if her mere gaze is overwhelming.

  • [X] Promise that when the day comes. When he returns to give the call, you will be strong to follow him. No to join him as another hero. You've never had the desire to personal ambition for it, but... You'll force yourself to do it for your best friend.
[X] Write in: You cant promise him you'll be the hero he wants you to be, so many things can happen, so many things have happened. But you can promise that when the time comes, should he need help, youll stand at his side.

[X] You need to get past this! You can't just stay frozen in place! Anger has helped you before. Use it.You need to protect your Family! Try to gather up Lunamon, Thresh and the Spiderlings then head for the tunnel. You have to get them out of here!
[X] Side with Flamemon. You don't like letting this thing go, but… You're not going to side against your best friend here. Plus it may actually keep its word and change its way.
[X] Accept, head out with Gnaw
    [X] Load the defeated digimon.
[X] Now that the fighting is over you'll spend some time taking it easier. Play some games with the rest of the village's inhabitants and try not to worry too much about anything vital.
[X] The *Kodokugumon* as Gramps called them seem to be getting attached to you and despite the creepiness factor you kind of want to spend some more time with them.
[X]"You cant promise him you'll be the hero he wants you to be, so many things can happen, so many things have happened. But you can promise that when the time comes, should he need help, you'll stand at his side. "
[X] Write in: Promise him that you will hold down the fort and that you will create some place he and the others could call home. As while you can't ever see yourself being the hero that Flame could be, you know and feel like you could be the one to make a home for him and all those he helps. Because even heroes need somewhere they can rest and call home and you want to do gramps proud as his successor.
[X] Promises that when that day comes you'll be useful, but you can't promise you'll be able to join him as a hero. He's just so much stronger and more talented than you are. Still, even if it's not as a hero you'll at the very least be a helper, you refuse to be a hindrance.
[X] Trying to learn fighting techniques from Flamemon and Gramps (Counts as sparring X3, Learns several new techniques)

-[x] Use your wand and magic where you can
[X] Digging. (Acts to relax Verge and lower his stress)
    [X] Plan Of Attack:
-[X] Close your eyes and charge towards the front line.
    [X] How To Handle Fighting:
-[X] Stay on all fours and attempt to use your drill and piercing claws. Maybe you can end any actual fights quickly?
    [X] Plan Of Attack:
-[X] Wait for the initial clash, then try to fight any Goblimon who are without allies.
    [X] How To Handle Fighting:
-[X] The Anger....it scares you but. Well it's the only thing that's worked to make you fight so far. Try to make it happen again.
[X] You bought a healing disk for exactly this sort of reason. Give it to Flamemon, let him be fully healed and restored. (Verge only has one disk).
[X] Suggest that she should go and bring Gnaw back. Having the BlackGarurumon's presence again would be... comforting? Plus, he is a champion and could help if anything else happens.
[X] Let the last bits of data fade away.
[X] Digging. The Goblimon are finally gone, so you're free to dig in peace once again. After everything that's happened you need some time to relax. (Locked In)
[X] Plan: The better part of valor
-[X] Yell for Fu to retreat back to you. Run up to her and attempt to body block as needed.
-[X] Have Fu shoot as you run.
-[X] Find Sparks ,grab him and get him to safety.
-[X] if he argues point out the fact that him being here means Flameomon is going to get himself killed trying to protect him and Sparks can't do anything right now. If he wants to help he can get on your back and let you make sure Flameomon can focus on his fight.
-[X] once Sparks is secure Run like hell.
[X] Try to carry Auger back, he's heavy but.... you have to try.
    [X] Fight!
[X] Advance up beside Auger. Together the two of you might be able to hold the four Goblimon off while Fu keeps her distance and attacks.

[x] There's a champion in there, not something you can handle by yourself. You'll try and help Flamemon and the others get free before continuing on, though you've never tried ripping apart things like this sticky web before.

Let's be about one shade darker

I... Don't know which to pick, leave the fight to protect the young ones, or stay and fight the LadyDevimon.

I want to protect the little guys, but I also want to kick her goddamn ass to the ground for what she did to Prancer.

You know what? I'll go with my inner gut and choose this!

I vote for running away.

Live to fight another day, we ain't gonna do shit here when a freaking perfect is on the field and the kids are directly in harms way, given her killing of Prancer she ain't gonna just ignore them.

you make it sound like running is an option, which it really isn't given that we cannot even perceive Ladydevimons movements due the sheer difference in stats

So this vote isn't really about Verge will do, because whatever he does in the end is meaningless, but how Verge would act in such an overwhelming situation

Eh , I don't think theres any good option here, didnt really have any motivation to vote becuase of it, but I'd rather not have us try and "fight" the ultimate only for her to lull, bitch slap us and have our consciousness fade as we watch the others try to fight. Only to wake up to ashes. And our friends deleted. Maybe some baby will survive but I doubt it.

Atleast if we can secure some of the kids and get them to run away lady devimon might just prioritize us and the ones responsible and take time toying with us. Maybe.

Honestly we all knew the village was gonna be destroyed from the get go so thats not shocking , I even predicted gramps was gonna die a bad death in front of us for "ultimate shock boost"

While it's not for sure flamemon is gonna die , I can see it happening for ultimate angst "childhood friend died in front of you, you promised him you would be a hero"

It makes the last vote make more sense in hindsight and also pushes us down that path a bit more which is again a bit eh...

It sets us up for hero route, as well as puts us squarely up against the EVULZ faction where I predict again well meet up against Gnaw becuase of course Gnaw of all people would join up with them , and you know hes all virus and dark and might makes right.

I'm also fully expecting lunamon or thresh to get kidnapped becuase.. "Haha look how evillll I am. I'm going to take this cute sister of yours" or " this ones a fighter, you would make an excellent toy (proceeds to groom thresh into a monster) " and again to set us on the "big bruder must save them!" Type of deal...which again in hindsight makes all those "you promised to protect lunamon and your siblings " votes make sense... even if it's a bit eyerolling. I hope to christ this doesnt happen and we can have a "let's grow strong together " type deal if we all survive this. The lone wolf badass thing isnt something I enjoy reading about .

Sad one of spiders died , hopefully others live. Not much else to say except hope and pray for the best despite the best prob being everyone gets deleted and turned into eggs or something

Straight up I don't like Flamemon. Something about him just rubs me the wrong way, can't really put my finger on it. When I reflect on why I find it might be a little irrational and these latest updates have made him a little better for me, but I still don't like him as much compared to other characters. This dislike of Flamemon contributed to why it took me multiple tries to actually get through the quest. It stems back to the vote where people decided our first major goal was not to get braver, but to help Flamemon become a hero. This vote looks like a choice between one of our 2 major goals or doing nothing. Between the 2 major goals I like the family one way more.

Having said all that I might still change my vote because dam does Dorulumon look cool as fuck. That is one awesome creature. Again I'm new to digimon, but that seems like one of the coolest designs I've seen in the quest so far. I bring up this possible form for Verge to digivolve into because I think the Flamemon vote has a higher likelihood of leading to that evolution.

She killed out little dancing boi! We'll find out where she lives, death will be too good for her.

We need to start keeping names so we know who to avenge and who needs to suffer...

I agree with the general sentiment though, the baby-mon have absolutely no chance of even escaping on their own. We need to save who we can while we still can, the champions plus Gramps and Flamemon should provide at least enough time for a minor evacuation. Maybe even enough time for sparks to get into his Mechanorimon, and for us to get back to see who we can save. She seems to the type to wound and leave mon for dead, maybe we can use that to our advantage and attempt to return and save who we can save after the conflict. Or even check to see if the tree of rebirth remains intact, unless of course the Lady Devimon wants to take over that spot in which case we need to find temporary shelter elsewhere either by getting help (maybe we can work something out with the Dokugumon?) or by creating temporary shelters ourself e.g. dugouts.

Whatever the case is the Gloaming has made a terrible enemy this day and one day there will be a terrible reckoning upon them.

On another less morbid note, could you chuck my point into Agility as well?

Using anger and going berserk seems a bad idea. Ultimately anger is a volatile thing, it's not to be relied upon, to do so is just going to invite trouble. Especially considering in his rage Verge could mistake friend for foe...

Sorry to say this
But it is a dump sentiment
We have absolutely no chance escaping her,
Outside of Flamemon and Gramps we are the fastest rookie and we fucking couldn't see her move
Gramps has already given up and went straight up to begging for us to live
Going Hero at least pulls all the attention to us, but what you guys are planning that just gonna put attention of those we wish to protect and in the worst case, give her the idea to 'play' with us, by pretending on letting us escape just to causally delete them

Ah, but have you considered the very real possibility of that happening with the other option as well?
