[X] You need to get past this! You can't just stay frozen in place! Anger has helped you before. Use it. You need to protect your Family! Try to gather up Lunamon, Thresh and the Spiderlings then head for the tunnel. You have to get them out of here!

If we try to run or stay to fight I can see people getting deleted either way, I'm gonna try to prioritize the little ones.
Currently I have no idea how the vote's turning out. Let's see shall we?

[X] You made a promise to Flamemon. Now... Now it's time to try and live up it. You'll attempt to break free out of your own will and help your friend defeat this... Defeat this villain! Or at least you have to try. Even if her mere gaze is overwhelming.

Hmm... just gonna analyze all the options, and give my opinion on all of them.
The First Option is to run away, while using Wrath which seems to me, more likely to attrack the LadyDevimon's attention rather than a rookie's ineffectual attack, considering that Verge says there's something familiar about her. If the LadyDevimon is someone from Verge's past using Wrath would instantly draw aggro, which is kind of counterproductive if the goal is to help other digimon escape.
Also if Verge attracks attention, there is virtually no chance of escape considering that Verge is slower, than Flamemon and Gramps, and they in turn are slower than LadyDevimon, and the rookies in turn are slower than Verge... yeah.
Second Option just staying still... This is the idiot option, this is the coward option, this is blatantly not going to help anyone but Verge if it even works.
This leaves the Third option where we fight an ultimate, while we can't even beat a champion or a particularly strong rookie.
But this option to me is also the most likely to succeed at accomplishing anything, considering the other two options, are
A. Run away while gathering the baby digimons and Lunamon, but likely attract attention in the process, and render the whole endeavour moot because using Wrath and the fact that Verge finds something about her familiar is a likely recipe for failure.
B. Stay still and hope she doesn't kill you.
Fighting the LadyDevimon, I think would benefit us more, because this would attract attention to Verge allowing the other digimons the chance to escape. Which is really all that we could hope for barring any unexpected aid and reinforcements
And as I mentioned in my previous posts, it might even push us towards a DNA-Evolution
A long-shot I know, but given that the other options are either 1. getting everybody in danger from a futile attempt of escaping or 2. doing nothing, I'm willing to choose 3. and bet everything on hope and friendship, since they are tangible forces of nature in this setting

I'll say this because I'm obligated too, we can just dig away from her if we have to we have been grinding that skill so now would be the time to use it and as mentioned previously we'd get wrecked instantly if we tried to fight her, and Jogress is so far out there that we need to plan like it's gonna happen whatsoever.

She literally disappeared from our line of sight, when Verge was only focused on her, then attacked our favorite merchant and only reappeared after she finished her attack
So since we cannot faster dig then we can blink that is really not an option
In regards to fighting her, as I said before, no matter what we decide, the action itself will be meaningless, because due to the sheer difference in power everything is meaningless in the face of Ladydevimon, all that we decide here is how we react in the face of such an overwhelming terror,
And reacting here with the Will to stand-up and fight it regardless, would certainly allow us a state of mind similar to Flamemons, which is needed for Jogress and not achievable with Wrath, due not being compatible with Flamemon
Like I said, its a longshot, but also like I said, everything else will have even less results

Honestly, I kind of wish we could write-in something. I mean, we can't overpower her. We can't out-speed her. The only hope we have is to out-smart her. Get her attention, have her focus on us and come down to our level... then blind her by using our nose or claws to spin up grit into her eyes. Then everyone gets the hell out of dodge while she's blinded.
Verge is not nearly smart enough for that, which is partly the player-base fault, since we had plenty of opportunity's to work on Verge's ignorance and yet didn't take as many actions as we could in that regard, but even if we did, I don't think we would have had anything that could make her focus on us enough to ignore the rest,
Unless of course there is more to the wrath then being angry
That is not out-smarting her, that is being dump, pal
Like she is fast enough to disappear from our line of sight when we focus on her,
To blind her like you are suggesting, we would have to already start with our nose being in her eye
which is partly the player-base fault, since we had plenty of opportunity's to work on Verge's ignorance and yet didn't take as many actions as we could in that regard,
Yeah, No. It's not. Pal we're in a little Village in the forest and all the options we received we're things revolving around other characters, sparring, or digging. There has not ever been an option that would make us less "Ignorant". So don't go saying that the player base has anything to do with it.

Talking with Gramps was always an option yet never taken, who knows what else could have been learned beyond the Ten being a religious thing
Given that by continuously interaction with Sorcerymon we unlocked magic and later the hidden civilian path, I'm pretty sure there would have been war stories from gramps had we interacted with him more often or maybe stories about the state of the world and life-lessons akin to what Sorcerymon did for us
I'm not saying that these would have helped in this situation, but at least Verge wouldn't have been so naive to take a ladydevimon's word as face value
For the people who think we could dig our way out this, remember we literally couldn't dig fast enough to evade a strong rookie before, and while Verge is faster now, do you people really think we could dig fast enough to evade an ultimate?
Guys digging and generally fleeing isn't an option or at least a feasible option that will achieve anything significant for us, the best we could hope for is helping others live through this.

The problem there is that's pure speculation on your end.
Your assuming he would want to tell us about them. He left for a reason and why would he tell War stories that were likely very brutal considering the state it was in to what is basically his kid?
Okay so, the script for this update is about 1600 words and I know it'll most likely expand quite a bit.
So today for this update I'll try something else. Namely trying to split it up into a few different snippets. We'll see how it goes.
Edit: Thank you to everyone who voted. We got 19 this time around.

I suppose I'll go with running, since the "do significant damage to the guy way stronger than you because of your strong weapon and then barely survive the counterattack because of tankiness" strategies has limits. She's well past those limits.

But yeah, this kind of hilarious mismatch is what happens when a seemingly trifling group hits well above its apparent weight class several times in a row due to weird outliers. Not much left to do but see who lives and who dies, I suppose! ...and honestly, this is a blessing; keeping track of all six of those spiders would have been troublesome.
Another thing worth nothing is that Fortitude is surely gonna hit the cap soon, and Strength isn't far behind. iirc drexal said that the theoretical rookie cap is 150 with a few rookies being able to exceed it, but most rookies end up below that. So our caps can probably be assumed to be around 130-140.

Will battles against fear inside you core as over the next few seconds, you try to move. Unfortunately when placed directly under the humanoid digimon's demonic stare, not a single one of your muscles so much as dares to budge. No matter how much you simply try, your body simply refuses to move.
So you stop trying and instead consciously reach for the wrath bubbling under the surface of your core.
C-come on. Come o-on Move. I-I have to bring Lunamon, T-thresh and the others to safety! Move! Darn it! Move! MOVE!
Anger triumphs where your will faltered, pushing back the seemingly insurmountable ocean of darkness and sending new burning energy out to fill your limbs. With a roar of triumph you surge free from the imposed paralysis and whirl to look towards your little sister.
"Oh?" The tall figure murmurs in surprise as you start sprinting towards a trembling Lunamon. However on the fourth step in, you spot a heavily yapping Thresh sprinting towards the LadyDevimon and quickly change your course, leaping left and taking the chance to scoop your younger sibling up. Warren, Scourge and Grip take this chance to leap upon your fur once again making use of your large body to catch a ride. You of course ignore this in favour of continuing on towards Lunamon.
"Flame Toss!"
"Sunshine Beam!"
"Sparkling Thunder!"
Even as sprint along, a small desperate battle erupts in in the village. Fire, lightning and sunlight are loosed towards Prancers murderer as the most powerful digimon left standing attack.
Only, the flying demonic being doesn't bother reacting to any of it, instead simply choosing to carelessly step forward regardless of the attacks heading her way. She doesn't bother to dodge any of powerful, blasts instead choosing to merely laugh as they splash harmlessly off her skin and right clothes.
"Tha-that's not fair!" The flying plant digimon whines, only a moments before the enemy vanishes again. Something unseen strikes your large friend and sends her rocketing into the storage hut at high speeds. Her enormous body impacts the solid wood with a mighty *crash* fully collapsing the entirety of the empty structure.
What! How-wh-what is she able to... NO MOVE IT VERGE!
"Fu!/No, Fu!" Flamemon and Auger shout out in alarm at the attack, but you painfully grit your teeth and ignore them both. A moment later, you manage to finally reach the small white rookie.
"Come on!" You scream down into the Lunamons now crying face. Rearing up, your free paw whips around to harshly pat the area between her shoulders. "We have to go!" However this only has the opposite effect of what you wanted leading to your sibling taking a single stumbling step forward, before tripping over her skirt and falling to the ground.
No.
With a growl you reach forward intent to help the openly bawling mon up, but quickly pull your arm back as you realize that your claws are spinning. In the crook of your arm, the struggling Thresh tries his best to rip at your fur, but you try to struggle through the a pain to keep him contained. If he left, then you have no doubt that the winged digimon would deliver upon him the same fate as Prancer.
I-I need to calm down. I can't. Can't hurt them!
Before your thoughts can continue, Flamemon's voice rings out through the air and you rapidly spin to look at what's happening.
"Noble Heart!" covered in a bright corona of flame, your best friend leaps into the air and tackles the now airborne feminine digimon. However she doesn't bother reacting to this one either, merely letting the living comet bounce off her belt-covered belly. In yet another burst of incredible speed her clawed hand lashes out, firmly wrapping around your best friends entire torso and trapping both of his arms in place.
Flamemon!
"My. You are a Rambunctious little digimon" She murmurs, idly licking her lips in the process. The evil digimon raises her claw up, seeming to not care in the slightest about the scorching hot flames around your best friend. "Breaking your spirit will just be oh so satisfying" With that her normal hand slowly comes up reaching for the struggling *Hero's* head-
-then lets out a sharp cry of surprise as an icicle roughly the size of a Mechanorimon crashes into her back tearing at the clothing and drawing a shallow cut along her grey skin.
Yes! She-she can be harmed!
"LadyDevimon! Let the little feller go!" Sorcerymon growls from next to a ruined patch of wall, his glowing staff pointed directly at the newly identified mon.
"Still awake?" The LadyDevimon murmurs through slightly pursed lips. "My my. You are a resilient one."
"Everyone! Run and hide! Ah'll hold'er off" Sorcerymon bellows. "Don't try an' fight!"
"By all means agent" The demonic digimon chuckles. "It'll be all the more delicious seeing you fail!" With that she offhanded tosses your best friend back, through the air... Which sends him soaring through the air at high speeds to slam against the villages central tree.
Yeah we-we should leave.
The feminine digimon lunges forward at fast, but still somewhat traceable speeds and playfully brings his clawed arm down towards your magical mentor. He blurs away from the lazy strike, transforming into a streak of white light as he begins leading the amused mon on a chase.
S-sorcerymon...Thank you.
Reaching out with your paw once again, you wrap a limb around your insensate sibling and pick her up. By now, running on just your hind legs so you quickly pivot towards the huts and start heading for the tunnels-
-but are forced to freeze as the entire section of wall behind them erupts into a cloud of splinters. Another absolutely terrifying figure comes into focus just a moment later.
"Lieutenant Repulsa!" His slimy, very angry sounding voice booms through the storm of splinters. "Explain yourself!" The tall lanky digimon lightly begins brushing his clothes free from the many shards of wood obtained through his entrance. Behind him a trio of larger, but somehow less threatening figures move forward in sequence to stand directly behind the caped mon.
Ogremon
DarkLizardmon
Musyamon
Who-who are they? I-please don't be with her.
"Why Lord Vamdemon" *Repulsa* answers, backing off from her tussle with the Sorcerymon. "Were you worried about me? I'm touched" Her slightly sarcastic voice continues. " I was merely, taking care of a few pests, Count. They're the ones your former agents servant inform- "
Nooooo!
"Quiet you contemptuous wench" The Vamdemon growls even as the despair in your core mounts "Your little endeavor here is wasting my valuable time" The tall digmon lets out a disgusted scoff, before shaking his head. "So be it." He turns his head to address the three champions behind him. "I do require servants for my new holdings. Slay the champions, take the rest"
