Difference between Thresh's Hazard Overdrive & Verge's Wrath Mode
As you've all probably noticed, the effects of Verge's Wrath Mode & Thresh's buff, (hereby named Hazard Overdrive) have a really similar effect. Namely boosting Strength, Agility & Special. On a superficial level they are rather similar, i.e. super modes increasing hitting power, however they are rather different on a biological level.

Verge's "Wrath Mode" is a Mode Change that literally changes his body to be more like a MadLeomon. Longer limbs and slightly more bestial features, one that's powered up substantially thanks to drawing up the Sin of Wrath. Which Verge has reached real high corruption in. It's also, more stable because of that factor. It's why he doesn't take HP damage from it, though the physical changes are very taxing on the body's stamina. However the level it can boost Verge has a lower ceiling.

Thresh's Hazard Overdrive on the other hand has more in common with Burst Mode, ramping his body up directly, which causes HP damage.
It however doesn't draw on any greater power (The Hazard doesn't count) so it's both more limited than an actual Burst Mode ala Vajramon and the Hazard's corrosive nature means pushing higher means more HP damage. It also had the effect of physically heating up Thresh's body and cybernetics to resemble Crimson Mode.

Question will Thresh still be able to use HazOverdrive even as a Gallantmon?
Unfortunately not. The Gallantmon frame is so different than the WarGrowlmon that the carryover there is… minimal. Plus. BlackWarGrowlmon as a species was uniquely suited to it the version he was using, being the closest thing to the Hazard barring Megidramon. Gallantmon has the hazard more or less fully sealed.

However! Gallantmon Crimson Mode is a thing. Meaning his hard work there won't go to waste. It's only a matter of when he'll be able to access it.

Sums up pretty much everymon's reactions yeah.

Oh yes, side note. If Thresh had gone Megidramon? It would've been more along the lines of a 5X to 5.5 multiplier across the board instead. Have fun with that.

Sadness at opting for smaller numbers.
How could you do this Thresh. How could you turn your back on maximum Power so?
All I can do now is hope that one day you'll realize that the Great Dragons are way cooler than the Royal Knights, and change accordingly.
Edit: But only if you'll actually be a functioning part of that pantheon and not a complete psycho

In other news this is the second time in a row Verge's opponent in a tournament has evolved to mega.

.....Heh.

Ya know I can only imagine what a lot of mon in the audience are thinking about this... its really been a rollercoaster of big shocking reveals and events.

"BlackWarGrowlmon Digivolve To!"
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cracks appear in the subspace around you, Malkimon's dimensions warping and buckling under a flood of server rupturing Power. Dissolving verniers spread wide, jutting outwards into a pair of ragged, colossal wings. Pendulum blades draw back, shrinking back onto the arm even as his claws expand. Legs and tail draw together, fusing into one serpentine appendage even as the ruined frame grows to encapsulate his entire body in armor.

Your creator's sub-dimension shatters, and a pulse of bloody flame throws you back against the straining barrier. MetalEtemon falls down next to you a moment later, his chrome digizoid shell glowing with excess heat.

Thresh's shining, translucent form grows and grows, rising to fifty feet, then a hundred, then surges out until it's pushing at the barrier's boundaries. A vast ocean of viral spirit, bears down upon both of you, stronger and denser than anything but the likes of Imperialdramon. MetalEtemon crashes down to a knee, and it's only the Primal Tiger's refusal to kneel that keep you upright.

It's a momentous effort, but you manage to crane your neck backwards to look up at the Demon-Dragon's new visage. And upon witnessing it wholly...

"Zeha, zehahaha! Zehahahahaha!"

Spirits below, did he have to be so dramatic about this?!

A lance of black Chrome Digizoid emerges from the Evil Dragon's chest, followed by a red-crested helmet, a pair of hefty pauldrons and a large circular shield. The newly digivolved Mega steps free, a crimson cape fluttering in the wind behind him. With that what's left of the light of evolution fades away, taking the aural Great Dragon with it.

"Gallantmon!"
FUCK THE HELL YES! HE DID IT! HE ACTUALLY DID IT! EAT SHIT YOU ZEALOT BASTARDS, HE DID IT! YYYYYYYYYEEEEESSSSSS!

Also that is the most epic Digivolution ever Holy Shit! Did he almost go Megidramon there? Was it a choice or something, or just him being a drama queen? Either way, don't care, too happy! Now, I wonder what his stats are li-
Thresh, Gallantmon Black:
Strength 85,000->340,000
Fortitude 76,500->306,000
Endurance 68,000->272,000
Agility 60,000->240,000
Special 73,500->294,000
Spirit 66,000->264,000
:confused::o:eek::wtf::jackiechan::eek2::wat2:😮‍💨

Again I really like Craniamon but the lack of a super mode like some others really sucks.
Yeah sadly the royal knights as a group are definitely not all created equal… all of them are high end Megas don't miss understand, but their is a stark difference between Omegamon(casually erases army's) and craniamon(gets his shield destroyed by a fourteen year old). They really did some of our boys dirty🥲

Which is why we must embrace fight cat, they at least get some positive screen time throwing... eh... appendages with the D-Reaper.

Admittedly, Omegamon is a Jogress between two already powerful Megas and Marcus Damon... is not a normal 14 year old. I don't know what he *is*, but the answer is definitely not a normal 14 year old. And since our mutations won't disappear when we hit Mega, I won't be surprised if we still get Wrath Mode as a Craniamon.

Ah, I see. A shame, it is a pretty cool transformation. Makes sense though, given Gallantmon's whole thing is rejecting being a living apocalypse. I wonder how he will reach Crimson Mode - Thresh doesn't have a Grani, so he won't be able to take that route. He probably won't need it for a while, mind, given holy shit those numbers, but I'm morbidly curious how long it'll take before Thresh breaks reality through sheer hax.

That's exactly what I mean 😭 omegamon has such bs origins and powers… Craniamon could have been the RK who doesn't need hax bs on that absurd level to do really cool shit but then they throw that eldritch abomination they call a main character at him and call it a day… it's just not fair!

I imagine that it will be like Optimus Prime Savage Claw mode, getting claws by reshaping his lance for a bestial power.
