Mihiramon core data could be useful for us, GrapLeomon is a cat too and I desire to be the Tiger Sovereign on other hand the core data of the Giant Pig/Boar could really help on making Sparks stronger and there is the chance of being compatible with us too.

[X] Target 1: A giant boar digimon that is wreaking havoc across the wilds, consuming all it comes across and constantly growing stronger. Bulwark wants it destroyed before it comes across a frontier town or scout outpost.

The pork will be the hardest bastard to beat of the two, this thing will not be easy as Verge could tank the others and be a distraction but this one is too fucking strong to tank and too durable to be affected by normal hits. Beat will need to open some injuries to put our attacks inside because the pig is the hardest of the two.

Also hardest battles gives the best rewards to Verge because our General Fighting is the best advantage that we have and the harder is the fight better he would become on battle.

Its not a train but we are getting there

Also from the sound of it, they did a close-in bombardment, counting on Digitamamon being too durable to mind?
Yes indeed. Unfortunately for Valvemon and the other Ultimate, they lacked his ridiculous fortitude.
The Count is serious business.
Counting is what Verge does. He does not take its besmirchment lightly. Very srys bisnis.
Nice girl there.
If a little foolish, I think the Gloaming would have punished her hard if not outright deleted her.
That would have largely depended on the witnesses. Wendimon wouldn't have done so, but he didn't want to take the risk of another mon doing it either.
Subtlety and tact are not his strong suits. Heh.
Verge enjoys being hit hard.
It says a fair bit about why our squad is so stupidly durable.
Digimon grow when damaged below crippling, and Verge/Beat have been the squad punching bags to train THEIR attacks.
That he does! It makes him tougher so it's good! And yep, the squad are all pretty damn tough, though the oddest individual to be like that is Sparks. People expect squishy wizards to actually be squishy.
Really a choice between the fast small one and the gigantic one.
Well, it's not exactly like a certain species of winged tiger is exactly small, more that the boar is just hilariously huge.
Though yeah, that Slayer is going to be a real issue later, isn't he?
Hehe, oh man you have no idea.
Well, its obvious he knows who Pit really is now.
Mhm. How do you think Astamon found his egg in the first place? Not that Baromon would ever admit that particular bit of information in front of Pit.

Fallen Seraphimon are Daemon right?

Also what's a good splice for Pit?
He could use some durability, or maybe learn how to dodge.
I'd say let him have the Mihiramon, since we're probably taking that thing out second. Mihiramon and Pit both fight using Rods(albeit Mihiramon's is a three-section one), so it should be fairly compatible with him.

Pretty much.

Daemon and Seraphimon are interesting to me because Daemon is something I could see sprouting from an angel digimon just doing it's job but going to far.

That said the similarities between the two are why I could see Pit being the Scion of Wrath but still having an easier time going angel than say Ardat has been, because that specific Sin is much closer to what a Seraphimon is actually supposed to do than say Lust and Ophanimon.... who funnily enough has a fallen mode separate from her Demon Lord that also involves getting really angry.

Was this supposed to be truncated? And honestly while there's a lot of suspicion that Pit is Seraphimon reborn, it hasn't had any actual evidence in the quest itself either way, aside from him apparently having some stupidly high caps.
It's why I'm saying I wouldn't be surprised if it was either of the two, though I won't deny the possibility of a third option for clear reasons.

I have a fondness for giant boar monsters. Isidoros is my favorite Yozi, and it bleeds through to those like him.

Oh yeah, fun little fact I'd like to share. Count as of the current time would be able to take that particular Okuwamon in a fight during the day, albeit after a fairly tough battle. During the night however, he'd cream Okuwamon.

Current Repulsa would also be able to pull off a win without much difficulty at all.

Just wanted to put that out there while I work on this arc's epilogue.

I mean... That really ain't a surprise. Repulsa is a Beast Spirit Legendary warrior which means she can truck with lesser Megas by default, and Count needs to be in that same weight class or his minion would just backstab him and take over his domain. No shit Okuwamon would loose against them. I am actually surprised he might actually be able to put up a fight against Count during the day.

I think Repulsa is actually loyal I mean Count did strategize for her to get the Beast Wind Spirir

Or he has a leverage or self destruction command i side her and Repulsa doesnt know it

Survivors
Deep within the ancient jungle next to BaroTown lays a field covered in ash and craters. The site of a recent battle where limits had been broken, a purpose found and a long standing officer of the Gloaming slain.

Slowly the largest pool of ash begins to stir. First rumbling only lightly, but gradually getting stronger. All until finally a clawed hand, one charred nearly to the bone bursts free.

WereGarurumon, pulls himself onto the surface with a set of heaving coughs and flops onto his back. Once the assassin has finished expelling what he feels like is his own body weight in ash, he stares up at the morning sky uncertain of what to do.

He'd survived, which was good… but his boss was certainly deleted, which was really, really bad.

The WereGarurumon's left ear twitches faintly, tracking a familiar set of very soft footsteps on the ash. Meaning that she was stalking towards him.

"Hmph, still alive huh?" He growls, weakly turning his head to face the intruder.

"That's right Nyah! I couldn't let the world lose something this cute!" Bastemon declares, cocking her hip with one hand and raising two fingers with the other.

"Urgh. I caught the edge of that freakish wizard's blast and fell into the cellar. You?"

"Well that's a long story! That Angel was stronger this time and more selfish too, he wouldn't let me get any nips in." She pouts making the wounded mon roll his eyes. "So I waited for an opportunity then tricked him into thinking he'd gotten me! I figured the boss could handle him…" The Bastemon pauses, looking around at the surrounding destruction. "I guess I was wrong?"

"Yeah. Just a little." He snorts before shaking his head. "And Greenhorn?"

"Not a trace of her I'm afraid. Those boys must have gotten her along with that big meanie."

"... didn't he order you to stop calling him that?"

"Well he's dead now so I'll call him whatever I want!"

"Rgh, fair enough."

"So… wipe our trail and move on? General Piedmon won't like that we filled the litter box on this assignment. He might even send us after those freaks again!"

"... yeah. Good call. I don't think I can take that mutant anyhow. May Daemon curse whatever glitch spawned his egg."

"Don't be down Nyah! You'll be getting a cute kitty as your only traveling companion!"

"... great. Rgh, I would have preferred greenhorn, at least she knows when to shut up."

"Hmm? What was that barky?~"

"Nothing."

Well this is exciting, we might get recurring enemies. I'm honestly looking forward to their reprisal, which is interesting because I usually dislike recurring enemies. It's really easy for it to come off as them having plot armor.

edit: I think it has to do with them acknowledging us as strong opponents, and the implication that if they were forced to take us on again they'd be more tricky about their approach. So it's the complete opposite of 2-dimensional characters slamming their faces into the protagonist group for laughs and fights (IE Jesse James and Meoth from pokemon). These two feel like they could present a credible threat in the future while knowing what areas they're outmatched in.

Like that the enemy team isn't trying to take revenge, though.
They've decided enough is enough. WereGarurumon went 0:2 against Verge even though the first time he struck from an ambush.
They use all type of fucking cheats to don't be killed and fight more like assholes than anything.
Well they are/were assassins. That's their thing. They'd totally have used poison if they'd had it at their disposal.
I am actually surprised he might actually be able to put up a fight against Count during the day.
You gotta remember that VamDemon have their strength, endurance and special cut in half during the daytime. 14,000 for instance would go down to 7000.

Well, not exactly by default. A beast LW at their caps can tangle with a *normal* Mega, but Repulsa only got hers a little while ago. It'll be a while before she hits thst level.

Yikes, I know Beat was going to be getting a new bounty from this but given that they went 2 for 3 against Ults I wouldn't be surprised if Verge/Sparks get new ones as well.

To be fair when you're most common similar level enemies have Heavens Gate of all attacks to you kind of need this sort of nonsense to keep up.

You know the current state of the Host would make so much sense if Seraphimon wasn't killed first but Fell to Daemon first.
The just pre-Fall Seraphimon would have been taking a dangerous path.
Yeah, Piedmon are a pain. Focused on hax instead of power, but being Megas means they aren't pushovers in the slightest.
Really Piedmon is like someone took a look at Wizardmon's Magic Game and thought "Lets turn this to 11"

Well, they were officially mercenaries.
Might as well make it factual eh?

Weren't Weregarurumon and Bastemon talking about ditching the Gloaming because their superior wasn't going to be understanding about this at all and its a fucking Piedmon

Unless Bulwark releases mission reports to both sides about the events I don't see it increasing, right now. Once another Vs. Gloaming happens oh yeah

Also dunno why but getting worried about politics possibly splitting the squad like some higher up going "I can use X in my plots way better than that drunk Angewomon" and cue clusterfucks because entire squad sans Pit gives zero fucks about the Host's mega holy mission, well sorta Sparks and Verge are interested in how it relates to Sephiroth because Gramps
