There's flying mutants, if they are still fleshy they can be hurt by crossbows and I imagine smaller drones might get crushed by the sheer kinectic force.

And I would like laser weapons for point defense, but we don't have any.
If what Hero said is what I think he said these crossbows may be too cumbersome to actually act as PD systems.

No, Calynth Crossbows are part of the schizotech-tree. They are also semi-automatic magazine-fed while being pretty big. See the crossbow of the First Son for refference:
So regular balista sized.

We probably could improve that...

Could we make a repeating crossbow as a research? Maybe even some miniaturization effort to it be (barely) person carriable?

Wasn't the books more important? You know end of the world and all.
Also i think Amilla want to do the Bog agriculture action.
1. I think one turn to be able to translate all those blueprints at once won't hurt. As it stands, we're yet to actual hit any of the end-averting stuff. Hoping that the blueprints will unlock more stuff.
2. Which is covered by the Swamp Taming action.

And for this we could be looting the medical wing too meditech to see if we outdun Marth's fucked up cells.
We already looted the Medical Wing on the first floor.

Now, I came up for an answer for the Martial action, having the Rust-Scouts study the Weaver. Before you say RageQuit is crazy - remember that Unique items are extremely important, it's sitting on a site with them, and it's possible it won't be a threat to expeditions. But we don't know for sure, hence the need to check.

But there's other room.

Here:
Possible Rewards:
Life-Support Machinery

Area Purpose:
Hard to determine due to combat.
Room 7 of the third floor.

I think that the research action that these blueprints can bring would actually make get the books done harder actually.

Shinny Management is important on quests.

I also wonder if we can automate translation of books after Automation is done. We have conputers and we can do it manuley or is that to anvanst for us?

P.s Sorry if my engilsh is bad, my phone dont have auto-corect.

As someone currently studying for a tranlatorship degree, no, translation is not that easy. The only way I could see of Automating it is to put a guy on permanent translation duty.

PS: Also, posting multiple times in a row is something that is considered rude in these forums. So please edit your last post next time if you want to add something.

You are already using machine/computer-translations via PD (Perpetual Defiance) and DoD (Daughter of Dawn), the problem is that your native non-AI capabilities are well below the level needed to be useful/able to aid your efforts, especially at translating languages that are dead and have been dead three language shifts ago.

And no worries abot the english, practice needs to happen sometime!

You might want to give the Rust-Scouts a Scout Scutter or two for this. Mechanically, probably won't have any effect, but it fits the story.

Not sure if having the DoD float somewhere outside the Forest and pointing its sensors at the Weaver wouldn't achieve the same thing, though. It sounded like the Weaver didn't hole up in some building or deep crevice.
