Honestly this still don't sound that usefull nowadays. How many research would be able to take 6 turns of locked ap?
Psychology projects, for one. Simply because they take between 25 and 120 Successes. Coding Buddies with 94, Secret Of The Circuit Pt.5 with 150, probably weapon and power armor projects deeper in the tech tree, etc.

While it does help out people, I'd say that it is canceled out by the fact that this action is intended to put more weapons into the hands of more people.

Again for big projects like these we are better equiped upgrading out labs or making other research in the meantime. We would get about the same amount of time necessary but have more infrastructure done, tou know these big thresholds are more of the mark of we not having the research instalation necessary than anything.

Also i would say no for weapons and power armor they are in a similar tier to coilguns.

So yeah, not good for research even if one want to obsses over psychology.
