Yes. They have distinct bonuses and abilities. Martyris is an excellent all-rounder and also key to our Forest stuff. Aria is Martial/Diplomacy specced. I think it's time we get someone good in Learning, and perhaps Archeology if we can manage it.
Yep learning is probably our most important thing creating and rediscovering new tech.

I assume the one you voted is the learning hero?

I also wonder if we can find something like a Project; Zero Dawn.

Because from what I understand from that dream so is this world, not The Earth

I agree, not clones. But I wonder if there was some terraforming involved in settling this world and if yes then where is the control center.

But even if we could find something like that it would probably take years before we understood 1% of how it works.

There's a big sky tower on the necropolis, probably that. Any terra forming stuff is probably stuffed DEEP on necropolises.

My theory is that The Spine is a space elevator or something like that.
My too, it's kinda the big obvious thing. But when I asked here he implied that it can be more than that.

Basically the TLDR of the setting is:
The eldrich things are computers.
There's no magic we know of.
There's so much bullshit supertech that might as well be magic.
Humanity as a whole may not be apocalypsed but our reginal FLT and coms network is fucked.
In the planet there had been many apocalypses ou goal is that our shit don't become more ruins.

They've also used their last big countermeasure against eldritch stuff like 10 years ago and that update said it is recommended to evacute the planet.

Yep there's an big ice age incoming but we are kinda on top of that with the Airships. Taking the spine and probably the orbitals over the planets could give us some defense.

Note that the ice age is coming in like 50 or so in game years.

So we have a lot of time to prepare. Hell, by that point we might even reach space.

Kinda, like in 50 years we would at least be able have if not the world population the empire population on space or get some countermeasures to defend against the forest.

We need to know what is in space to work with before than anything trough. That said we are about to Escalate in the pilgrimage scale. Pilgrim tech is not primitive anymore.

We should also start expanding the Pilgrims physically, our Piety loss is getting quite high.

Though not a full chapter, I think a Satellite into one of Tessen's neighboring regions would do.

Maybe, a year from now. Like until then we probably can make a chapter seed ship.

(The idea of a big ship that work as mobile HQ that can just land and kickstart a chapter and then being converted into a Hospital ship)

But I was saying we don't need to establish a full on Chapter.

For example, Ju-Ji's Hall is right nest to Tessen and its really tiny, so it makes little sense to give it the full autonomy of a Chapter.
Size on the map is not something you should be too harped about, basically think the staltan empire the post post post post post post post... Post apocalyptic version of Sigmar's empire, meaning a lot of the provinces as quite hollow and the wilderness is wild, just here on top lf the bandits and horrifically mutant things there also killer robots. So is more about that each region is a litle fiefdom in the empire with their own laws customs and so on and so forth all federalized under a monarchy.

We basically need each chapter have it's own rules because each region is it's own ecosystem.

Also If you think that ease of communication should preclude chapter independence this kinda make any chapter kinda pointless at this point, because as is turns out a System originally made for secret cult action was never balanced around you legally and freely create and used behemoths of steel and death that can trivialize most combat with non cataclysm monsters and talk to each other over the horizon.

It's not so much ease of communication as ease of travel as well as size that to me determines whether a region should have a full Chapter or not. Since Ju-ji's Hall is right next to our home region it would make sense to just expand our main chapter there.

Another thing you are forgetting is that Chapters have a bigger chance to deviate in their beliefs. Right now we are fine because Martyris is alive, but once he kicks the bucket the Pilgrims will no longer have a final definite answer on any matter. So keeping the number of voices and influences to a manageable level is something we should consider.

Also, I want to see what each level of commitment looks like, since the blurb implies that they would play differently.

Honestly if that is the case we can just outran that clock. The moment we get sapceships we can just have everything centralized or at least responding to a central administration because if the spaceships have anything they have range.

??? How?

We are nowhere near space travel and Martyris is not going to last that long so this is something we should be thinking about when expanding.

Plus, we should try out the different levels at least once. Cooky would not have added them if they didn't have their own benefits.
