So we found another spooky box?

Honestly i just imagine the pile of pilgrim loot like a hilarious museum of extremely dangerous stuff that the pilgrims are worryingly nonchalant about
"And here we see the Doom Bomb of Planetary Annihilation."
"You have a bomb that can destroy the planet?!"
"No, it's a funnily named toaster."
"Oh thank God!"
"The planetary bomb is over there."

2x Written Testimonies of the Collapse - 35.00 - +50 to Pioneer Psychology/???
1x Sacrosant Idol - 20.00 - +50 to Pioneer Psychology
1x Crystallized Flames - 25.25 - +50 to Pioneer Weaponry/???
Well, that's a thing. We have found actual reports of what happened during the Collapse. I'm surprised Internal Security hasn't shown up yet.

Like hell would he allow the Pilgrims to be stranded with a third-rate Data-Smith offering fourth-grade advice!
Oh no. Forge-Clan Seto Kaiba.

"Why by the Light you have a planetary bomb?"
"Well it was laying around on the necropolis, we could not disarm it or just trow it on the sun, yet, so we keep it locked near *shudders* the internet."
" *Visibly worried* what in hells in the internet?"
"Where we keep all the info that turn out to be porn, there's so much porn and i think it became self aware, at this point that scares you more than the stuff InSec tell us to shut up about"

Well, it basically is a bunch of "Horrible Abomination Against Nature #937 Rampages Around Today" most of the time.

Which you kinda already knew is what happened. You didn't get anything actually new, only another perspective of the Collapse.

Also, we have a lot of parts of something called an Irkanite.

Given that some of those parts are called Heart and Thought I am inclined to believe its a machine of some kind.

Still probably worth a detective action.

Ok on a more serious note we probably should talk about the new research DC, shit like weaponry science became trivial like we can prototype a lazer gun in a turn but also a lot of chemical research, skyship and metalurgy is also oppen to us not mentioning more steam and the psychology research. So good luck chosing there. We definitely need to build the military district next trough we are kinda sitting defenseless for now.

Also we have 84 caretaker swarms left.

I think we should do Firend in Code and Power Armor first.

But after that I want to push Coilguns and More Steam. With those two I think I can cook up a gunship with more than one gun.

Preferably we want to do everything eventually but is more about order. For a skyship we probably want to finish the breth before anything so we also would want better propulsion data to make it faster, and have the structural research and armour truly be able to something military.

Not really. For a gunship what we need is power generation. Propulsion would be nice but not crucial.

A coilgun as it is right now takes 28 power, our biggest engine produces 35. If we want more than one gun without having to build more than 3 engines we need to up power generation.

Edit: Speaking of Airships. We can now repair the warships.

Considering the things you would want to put a gunship against you need to shrug a hut or two this implies structure and armour, wich implies having to need a better propulsion system. We could make a sniper ship but that wound ask for a better gun.

Should we actually call the imperial authority beforehand this time? The warships are kinda of national intrest.

Our current Airscrews can support 65 components each. The Caravaner uses less than 40. So we would run into Lift problems long before we run into Propulsion problems.

We kind of already did with DoD, where she's technically owned by the Dall family but the Emperor can call her to war whenever he pleases. I imagine the warships would follow the same rules.

We should speak with the Marquess of Tessen though. To better coordinate the use of the warships to defend the region.

You forgot the Strul Consensual.

Oh. Boy.

-[] Hit The Family As Told By Internal Security
(+50 to Success Chance. Gain Favors with InSec.)
Question, doesn't this seem more fitting to be under Illumination?

[X] Expedition - (VO-02) - (2 Turns Remain) - (House Mirn support: N) - (1/4 Turns Complete)
That should be VO-01, and the turns remaining part got c/p over.

You know when i got the meme idea of making the robots do the construction Job for us i would not imagine it would pay off so fast.
I did once HeroCooky confirmed there wasn't a cap. I told you guys that the gains from the Masters were a big hint as to what we'd get from the Hidden Workshop. And now there's a dozen phones ringing because I FUCKING CALLED IT!

Tha line of thought is for basically have the ship moving, we really need a better to speed with is locked by type of propulsion. The caravaners are fast enough in the idea of a ship that should not seen combat and work as a freighter not something that is anywhere close to violence. The lift issue by itself can be solved by having better suspending uses.

Probably, it really deppends if there's another machine mind i. Those ships, you know not dealing with moral issues.

Can you elaborate on that? I had a similar moment in another quest like this so i know the feeling, but I don't recall the moment in this quest you are referring to.

Ah yeah honestly it was a great idea (We can just get lazer weaponry done in ONE FUCKING TURN now ), trough now I wonder with a friend in the code and that research could we make purpose built worker bots to help us with construction then, it would be a great way to autocumplete minior project and upgrades to our holdings by spend resources and not actions.

Speed is also relative, unless everyone else has much higher cruising speeds then we should be fine. Besides, more advanced propulsion will also most likely consume more power, so we will still need more power generation.

@HeroCooky do we know how fast the imperial airships are?

The problem right now is not other airships per say, we are long ways of actually be able to help with that. It's basically be able to move out of combat fast enough so one can avoid being sniped on critical points by coilguns, since we are using pressurized suspendium, also the faster we move the more easily we can wave in and out of efective range of enemy guns, wich is important for a lightly armored craft.

Increasing the speed won't help with that if our maneurability is still awfull. Remember the airscrew is on the back so we turn like a ship, not a plane.

That's why I'm planing to give it 120 points of armor.

Besides, who is even going to be using coilguns besides us? We are not going to be fighting Slatnan ships and pirates are not going to be able to maintain such high tech. If other nations use mostly relic ships then we are outmatched one to one no matter what we do.
