Just wondering, but can we analyse the wrecks of defeated robots to get bonuses towards killing them? Or are there already analysis reports we can get our hands on to help with the attack? Because if we can do the former but not the latter, then my thoughts are we take the South-East Hospital of the Bunker, to get basically all the medical-associated salvage and initial robot wrecks to analyse. After the analysis is complete, we hit the South Laboratory to secure the Data Crystals for research benefits and favour trading. Because those will be extremely important for the final stage.
The next stage? That's hitting the West Robot Storage to hopefully get as complete a set of robots to analyse as possible. If that doesn't give us everything it offers, we then hit the North-West Greenhouse for the extremely beneficial salvage, potential seeds and the Omni-gazer, Sniper Guardian and Command Guardian to analyse. Provided the Guardians are less of a threat than the Turrets and Plasmathrower.
If the Robot Storage gives us a complete set, or the turrets are less of a threat than the robots, we finish what robot analyses we can do before assaulting the North-East Command Centre. The results of that assault will inform what exact shape the final stage takes. We deactivate the defenders in the best case, which I don't expect. We deactivate most of them which is more likely, thus making the Bastion/Elevator easier but still not good. Slightly better case is we can turn the defenders on the Walkers if those aren't all deactivated, but that's less likely than just being able to turn them 'off'.
Worst case is if we can't command them at all, in which case we're going to want to be very aware of how the robots react to our attacks. Because I don't want to trust that there won't be any response to the previous raids, especially the one on the Command Centre itself. That's what we'll want the potential Data-Crystals and Lost-tech Seeds for, because we'll need the favours to buy the support to take out the Bastion.
Do we know if this is the only floor of the bunker we can't investigate or if there are multiple again? Because that will also affect how we want to go about things. As if there's no response to the initial raids, and there's other floors then we'll want to finish looting this floor and see if we can get access to the other floors before bring in outsiders. But if there is a response, then we might want to accept potentially losing some of the salvage by having the find be a 'joint' discovery by bringing outside support in to deal with the defenders.
