maybe there could be something like giving your two weeks notice instead.
The thing is, this is an oath not a contract so there's stuff like honor and pride involved. You don't just clock off or hand in a notice, there's going to be a lot of pomp and ceremony involved.

Plus, I imagine all the legal details will be handled in the background without needing our imput.

After thoroughly thinking it through, it'll save and restore the lives of about 2-3.000 people, give you 2d100 Goodwill, +1 Common People Relations in that Region if you expand there, and 2d10+10% Piety.

a doubt hero

our martial has only 1 action, where every other areas has 2 and some 3,how could we expand the number of actions we have avaible?

We would need a computer, which we can't get anymore of without cutting into our income.

Also, do we really need more actions? There are not that many actions that we would need to do simultaneusly.

Build a Computer for the Martial Action, shift one Action from somewhere else, or upgrade to the CRS - Elite Private Security/Elite Mercenary Command.

Also, news regarding my illness.

Bad News: I have Covid.
Good News: It is in line with my usual fevers.
Second Bad News: Those suckerpunch me while I have them and kick me while I am on the ground.
Second Good News: Nothing worse is happening. I'll (most likely) survive! Yey!

Now that we have components, I've been tooling around with airship design and this is what I came up with. I know that given that cubes cost small shards we probably won't be able to support a line of these but I wanted to see.

Line name: Caravaner 211
1x Cockpit
1x Prototype Suspendium Cube
1x Sideways Sail
1x Primitive Airscrew
1x Tiny Vuur-Engine Room
1x Tiny Fuel Storage
2x Berth
3x Basic Crew Amenities
5x Storage
5x Passenger Cabin
2x Fixed Ballista
1x Fixed Crossbow
2x Basic Structural Reinforcements
10x Armored Hull

Total Stats:
Lift:
5.000kg (210kg free)
Structure: +9
Crew: 0
Armor: 40

The rest: Who knows? Too much math :V

@HeroCooky How does this look? Too expensive?

More gun maybe? but would we i assume that 210 is not all the weight it can take is it?

Looks like a pretty good airship to me!
How many Suspendium shards would a line of these consume per turn?

210 is the leftover lift after adding all the components, and I kinda like leaving it that way so the captain doesn't have to wheight everything he brings on board down to the kilo. And I can't add more gun since they take crew. Besides the Caravaner is at its core a merchant vessel, it's not meant to face heavy combat.

~47.000 Materials for a full recovery.

With this in mind

@thread

How much do you think we can spare?

I'd really prefer a minimum of 500, and if we can manage it 1000 would be really good. Looking around at the numbers, I don't think there's anything really preventing us from sending 1000 Materials outside of the fact that we'd have no stockpile to send with the expansion next turn?

Though that would be offset if we plan our expansion to be at the disaster area...

I'm all in favor of sending 1000 Materials now.

@HeroCooky would it be reasonable to send Artifacts along as well? What can't we send?

I mean better have and not need it huh?
Anyways you made your point and yeah this is basicaly a sky buss for the rich,or a sky truck not a bad thing.

Maybe have a cargo hauler model with more cargo and less passanger cabins?

Once you have the slipways build, it'll start at 6 small shards per turn, which you can increase later on.
(You can increase Suspendium Harvesting with another Palace Expansion project.)

A card with: "Haha, sucks to be you!" :V

More serious:
Sending artifacts will just be you selling them, and sending the money to the Region to help.
And you can send whatever you think will help/be needed.

This is the cargo heavy version. It can currently carry 1.5 tons of cargo.

Passanger cabins wheigh 60 each, Cargo storages are 300 each for the non-tiny version. Dropping all passenger cabins would only allow us to fit in 300 more kilos of cargo. Not that much all things considered.

Would sending our first Sworn Retainer To House D on Disaster Relief be an okay idea? Can we send Troops? Specialists? Faithful? Members?

Can we co-op our preparations for expansion to provide disaster relief, as we were already planning on sending an organized group to a location or would that be part of the "Select a Location" step?

You can do all of those things, but by the time they will arrive, most of the clean-up will have been done, with the re-building being taken care of by native/local specialists.

The second option will be viable, and you can alter your expansion now if you choose that location in the upconing turn to providd large-scale help.

Well, we're going to need around 200 Materials for the expansion and I would like to finish armoring the Daughter during the next two Turns or so. If the price reduction from "Structural Information" changes it to 2 Material=2 Armor, that would be 572 Materials. Split over two Turns...

I guess we could donate 300 or 400 Materials. Donating twice of what the equivalent of the state church gives might get us some weirded-out looks but it shouldn't cause problems.

Costs: 4 Materials+ 12.5 Materials+ 1.34 Materials+ 7 Materials+ 500 Materials+ 2 Materials+ 15 Materials+ 15 Materials+ 5 Materials= 561.84 Materials(+50-200 Materilas depending on a vote)
Budget: 1.102.36 Materials
Remaining budget: 1.102.36 Materials - 561.84(761.84) Materials= 540.52(340.52) Materials

A first draft; went with 500 Materials because we would still have a lot leftover. It's a bit hilarious that Aria helps more with "Hunt them Down!" by diplomancing the Guard into helping than hunting them with PD. She might get even more if the separate +10 from Bloodied Knight-Pilot applies too. Not sure what to do with the Adventurers, maybe hunt the Watchers even if it's inefficient?

Bunch of questions though.
@HeroCooky
1. Would have Followers Of Light: We Work As One have a special narrative effect if used on A Small Donation - (Ju-Ji's Halls)? Using the Daughter to ship aid or something like that?
2. Could we use Sandcrete on "Medical Wing - Expanded"? I'm not sure how much of that project is construction effort and how much getting more equipment.

Edit: Added "We Work As One" and switched Aria's and Martyris' Actions. Changed the Adventurer Action into getting guards for the Grand Kitchen.

Sending the Daughter with the WWAO action and the Donation would have a pretty big narrative effect, as you'd cause all help to arrive pretty much instantly.

You can very much use sandcrete for the medical wing, most of the timwnis used to excavate and prepare for installation of the components.
