Red Rose and San are better, depending on your definition actually.
Yeah it's hard to say with those two. On the one hand, it's completely possible to slowly kill Red Rose by inflicting less then 20% Max Health damage, but it's hard to do that when the level you need to be on to survive her makes your damage alot more then the 1,000 needed to trigger it.

As for San? She's got serious time bullshit on her side. So she is still number one yes. But for a Magical Girl whose only been active for a little over two weeks I think, to have the second greatest damage reduction out of all Magical Girls, is absolutely insane.

Which we are going to need, now that we that attention of the UD.
 
Anyway, just theorycrafting where Ana stands in the Tier List now.

Vs. Goddess Gold (Number One): Cannot be Damaged by conventional attacks, capable of surviving a single shot of Oblivion Awaits (But only as long as that is the final attack per turn). Incapable of harming her in turn.
Verdict: Goddess Gold stomps if bloodlusted by double-tapping Oblivion Awaits

Vs. Goddess Grey (Number Two?): Incapable of harming Solid Core with conventional attacks. Incapable of harming Solid Core with known magic attacks. Solid Core will defeat Goddess Grey in 8 rounds of Core Purge.
Verdict: Goddess Grey loses in 8 rounds barring retreat or significantly greater then displayed offensive and defensive abilities.

Vs. Goddess Red (Number Three?): Direct combat stats unknown, Black Knight incapable of harming Solid Core, Black Knight will be destroyed in two turns of combat with Solid Core through Core Purge
Verdict: Unknown vs Goddess Red. Black Knight destroyed in two turns of combat with Solid Core minimum, longer if we just decide to ride Hostile Divinity Exposure to nickle and dime it down.

Vs. Goddess White (Number Four?): Neither side capable of harming the other.
Verdict: Stalemate. Why are we even fighting?

Vs . Maiden of the East: MotE capabilities largely unknown, but current displayed stats incapable of harming Solid Core. MotE has no defenses of note.
Verdict: Solid Core stomps, at zero cost.

Vs. Maiden of the West: MotW defenses too great to be overcome barring Hostile Divinity Exposure. MotW subsequently incapable of harming Solid Core.
Verdict: Likely stalemate.

WEAPONS: Stats largely unknown, impossible to properly gauge.

Red Rose (Number Ten): Solid Core immune to conventional attacks, Red Rose defenses incapable of fully defending against Solid Core attacks, cancelling two of Solid Core's attacks but leaving one to go through, which deals a small amount of damage (And thus, gets by "To Stand Among Gods)". Solid Core immune to assassination attacks and one shots due to being reduced to 1 health, and Red Rose is incapable of dealing enough damage after her Auto-Kill attack to drop her lower before Solid Core's defense reactivates.
Verdict: Solid Core Victory.

So, in light of this?

I think Anastasia has, in two weeks, pretty definitively entered the Top Ten.

Holy fuck is Echo of Peace powerful. Nepgear is now officially the biggest pain in the ass around: boosting a team of humans and angels under her to MG levels, protecting entire armies, and she's nigh-unkillable.

Um.....crystalwatcher? How Large would you say a battlefield is? Because holy crap we are the best equipable little sister ever! With Core Connection buffing our team, and Echo of Peace buffing our team and our allies, we could seriously pull some epic level's of glorious bullshit.

No, it's just that bringing us down to 0 HP won't kill us. Which is to say that we'd get better from getting down to zero HP, assuming nobody bad survives.
 
The thing about Solid Core, based on what I can see, is that rather than being a front line fighter, she seems to be someone who buffs her allies.

She can't hit for shit at the levels she tends to fight at, but thanks to her skills she can tank most such hits with some difficulty and enhance her allies to the point of actually being a threat, despite normally being considered cannon fodder.
Actually, looking at the growth of her offensive skills and spells, Anastasia is perfectly capable of fighting at the Goddesses level, we just haven't invested in those abilities yet.

Actually, now that we're capable of surviving and out team is no longer quite that squishy, we should increase Celestial Severance's level, along with Purifier Beam so we can dish out more damage and intercept more attacks.
 
I just had a ridiculous thought. We know that Nepgear is tanky as fuck, and her body is a magical construct. So what if we gain the ability to literally turn into equipment, like power armor or something.

We would directly link our core with the person who wears us and provide our defenses along with theirs.

Yeah, our offense isn't fantastic, but as a strategic asset? Solid Core is probably second place behind Goddess Gold at this point (Because unlike Goddess Gold--her very presence makes the allied forces tougher. And Synchronize probably does something similar. GG is still the best though because "Yeah, I don't like that army, it's gone now" is pretty hard to beat).

In combat potential? Solid Core is either ninth or tenth place, right around where Red Rose is. This will go up dramatically as our offense improves and allows us to fight without needing to rely on Core Purge to deal damage to other top levels.

Our Defense is a match for Red Rose, except it doesn't even have the same conditional activation clause as hers (Only activates against powerful attacks, no defense against dots or Bad Status). Our offense is still shit tier and we're relying far too much on Hostile Divinity Exposure to compensate, and Goddess Gold remains an untouchable pillar of which we're a long way from even approaching (Sure, we can no-sell her "I don't give a fuck" attack, but her actual "Go away" beam requires our "Oh god don't die" power to activate, and she has a trait that lets her double-tap it. And we can't do shit to hurt her in turn.)

And now I'm imagining Progenitor Frame is an ability where Nepgear becomes a giant mech for James to pilot. Meanwhile the Golems are slightly smaller mechs for everyone else.

When the Unified Darkness figures out that Solid Core's responsible for her roommate's toughness, they're really going to pull out all the stops to see her dead, aren't they?

They're having the unpleasant problem of "Solid Core's affinities are a bitch to counter, and her defensive strength is enough to survive Goddess Gold's full ire--at least once."

Even the usual route of "Subvert and mindfuck" is out because INDESTRUCTABLE CORE no-sells hostile influence and Bad Status. They'd have to recruit her out of her own free will--and they've done enough abhorrent shit that this would be a very tall order.

To be fair to Red, we have WOG that she has other abilities, we just don't know what they are.

This is true.

Still, even if we're not in the Top Ten at this point, I don't see us as being far behind them. And this'll change real fast as our offense gets better.

(Hilariously enough though, Red Rose will actually get harder as our offense gets better. We're just in a sweet spot now where we can hurt her without tripping her hyper-armor trait)

I'm hardly thinking we've won, but we've sure as hell left the Magikarp Stage and evolved to a babby Gyrados.

Oh like you wouldn't fucking believe. We already have the UD eyeing us for converting San back into the UL and having our human teammates and a freshly born angel solo a entire Nightmare Nest. When they learn about us being able to increase the toughness of all allies around us, including the Goddesses and other people on that level, we are going to be shat on from so high up we are going to think Void herself just flushed the toilet.
