Well, the reason I said that Zack Fair fits is because he's the link between Cloud and Sephiroth. Alternatively, it could just as easily be S-Sha from Neptunia VII.

Despite not fitting thematically, Celes Chere would be an interesting Final Fantasy character to see an expy of, because she would almost certainly have an ability that (when active) completely negates all nearby attempts (by both enemies and allies) to activate spells.

Nepgear's original body lost somewhere during her first transformation. She uses her MG body full time. I was wondering, how did she handle the lichbomb so easily.

Other MG-s do return to their natural body.

Only some. There are three specific categories:

1) Enhance their human body while transformed.
2) Swap to a Magical Construct while transformed.
3) Just use a Magical Construct in general.

Nepgear isn't the only Girl to fall into the third category although it's apparently fairly small:

Yeah like tyaty1 said we lost our original body the first time we transformed. Our race changed from human to magical girl at that point. It would stand to reason that all magical girls that had a similar thing happen wouldn't be human anymore either. Although now that I think about it for magical girls who switch bodies whenever they transform Gaia wouldn't be able to control them when they are magical girls since they aren't human then. This would explain how some magical girls are able to work against her although if they ever transform back into humans then Gaia would be able to mindjack them then which kinda sucks. https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/members/tyaty1.853/
 
Nepgear might not have a human body anymore, but does that mean that she is no longer truly human, as in no longer part of the Human race? Remember that a magical girl is still a human magic, ergo to be a magical girl you must be human.

I always read the no longer human trait as Nepgear no longer having a human body and that is just it.

Basically what Gaia wants for her ultimate best case scenario is for humanity to become an entire race of buster machine No. 7's

 
@crystalwatcher, I was looking at the character sheets, and I think I saw a mistake. Hero WEAPON's...well, weapon has the Horror Affinity, but Hero doesn't have that Affinity herself. Her Affinities are Hope and Magic. Is this intentional?

You'd would of had to crack the box open, but it would have worked. Your 'divine radiation' is stopped by walls. Anything unlucky enough to be in the wall isn't safe though.

IE: Gabriel and/or Angel Weapon get hurt/die. Which decidedly doesn't happen.

Might want to change it. For example "and everything goes to shit for the Maidens."

Everyone was winding down from the battle high and finally relaxing now that everything was over.

In video game terms what happened is that an enemy ran up as everyone was in the middle of their 'sheath weapon' animation, so by the time they could even get started on the 'draw weapon' animation they were underground.

Um... Might be a mix up from when I was piecing her profile together: browser refreshed and it might not have saved before then. I'll fix it.

That's along the same lines as 'If I upload myself to a machine, will I be the same person' and other 'OH GOD IT NEVER ENDS' debates about life / the universe / everything.

In universe, AFAIK from what we've been told and shown so far, MGs are still HUMAN no matter whatever traits they get, and are Gaia's 'children' like the rest of humanity. Or 'weapon' I guess. :V

Anyway Isn't it a one-sided vote to CHARGE INTO THE EARTH FOR SOLID CORE?
