Changing Destiny (Kancolle)

Let's count commissioned Japanese DDs in WWII:

21 Momi, -4 due to Momi, Kaya, Nashi and Warabi being scrapped or sunk beforehand, shoudl be considered
13 Minekaze
8 Wakatake
9 Kamikaze
12 Mutsuki
24 Fubuki/Ayanami/Akatsuki, -1 due to Miyuki's loss
6 Hatsuharu
10 Shiratsuyu
10 Asashio
18 Kagerou
1 Shimakaze
20 Yuugumo
16 Akizuki
18 Matsu
14 Tachibana (9 more planned)
Total 17 + 13 + 8 + 9 + 12 + 23 + 6 + 10 + 10 + 18 + 1 + 20 + 16 + 18 + 14 = 195 total destroyers in service, 204 planned.
If you count the Momi class being closer to corvettes (they were used as such) it's 178... and Matsu/Tachibana classes are much closer to Black Swans in displacement...

Meanwhile, the US produced:
2 Long Island
4 Avenger
45 Bogue
4 Sangamon
50 Casablanca
21 Commencement Bay (33 planned)
Total 126 (138 planned)

Of course, this was more than all Japanese ships bigger than destroyers, but then you add in the 11 light carriers (9 Independence and 2 Saipan) and... (Langley retired in early 1942)
2 Lexingtons
1 Ranger
3 Yorktowns
1 Wasp
24 Essex (32 planned)
3 Midway (laid down 1943)
Total 34 built in WWII, 42 planned

191 planned total aircraft carriers of all types for US, discounting seaplane tenders and such, compared to 204 Japanese destroyers

Hey, IF you count the Momi class as corvettes by this point, then the US had/had building more carriers in WWII than Japan had/had building destroyers.

EDIT: fixed forgetting to add the CVLs.
Actually, it was 19 Kageros and 19 Yugumos...Akigumo was the last of the Kagero-class.

Japan could never win and that's not a spoiler to say.

How badly Japan loses depends on factors entirely outside their control.

It wasn't until some documents were recovered in the 1990s that Akigumo was discovered to be a Kagerou.

Anyway. While I'm still semi-functional (I completely fell apart when I got home, not going to lie. Headache, allergies, sleepy...) have:

The new outfit, not just the new posing. Featuring the splinter camo, as I said would happen months ago.

And a bonus:

The second one is just cute. >.>

(and the rare case where KC!Sara cosplays WSG!Sara instead of the other way around)

Take a decongestant (preferably pseudoephedrine based), drink plenty of fluids and go to bed Sky. You're sick and tired.

Edit: Also with the Cosplay!Sara... I don't get it...

THere's a reason she wears the Yuugumo uniform though instead of the Kagerou one. She was a Kagerou in name only, as all the upgrades for the Yuugumos were on her as well right from the dock.
True.

There's also this:

Only known photo of Akigumo, taken in January 1944, when she was briefly flagship of ComDesRon 11 RADM Takama Tamotsu (43).

A boob window that makes Power Girl look inadequate is your idea of Sunday Finest?:p
"Something to wear to church."

According to some people's claims, big-breasted anime girls are the politically correct version of obese people (due to issues with sweating, difficulty running, bouncing fat, etc.).

If this is true, then yes, wearing that to church is a great idea. It helps thermoregulation if the "sweating underneath breasts" problem is true. If it doesn't help many others' thermoregulation inside the church, well, they should keep their eyes (or paws) to themselves.

Sara is also a great advocate for the quite common problem of somewhat asymmetric breast sizes (the artists put in plenty of attention to her hull modifications that compensated for the island's weight)

you know, it's really impressive to me that Sara's dress still billows up like that, despite having several drum magazines strapped to it, which should weigh it down.

Good sir, I suggest that you underestimate how fast the sea winds can be. Or just how much the spirit of Marilyn Monroe lives on in our media consciousness. :ogles:

"They're actually lifting devices, like the disks on this design, didn't you know? Just because they're antigravity pods instead of plain old turbines people get buttmad, ugh..."

While I'm stuck at the uni and unable to do any real writing, have a cute:

...this is important >.>

(using the spoiler text for a meme. Classic :V )

(Yay double post)

Being as it's my birthday, I'm going to try to update this today. Depends a lot on how much time I have.

Happy Birthday Sky. Unfortunately, my present for you isn't here. Haven't gotten the Summoning ritual to work yet. But sooner or later, you'll have a certain CV glomping you in front of your class. :D
