Unfortunately, as per the Stargate thread in question:

Joking aside, this is something that has been bugging me for some time. Stargate is my favorite science fiction series, period. Username aside, I like it more than Star Wars. That is why I have the quest. But I've been wanting to do a new Stargate fic for a long time. I've just not wanted to start another project, without preparing in advance. However, now that I have a pretty general idea how busy I'll be with student (and actual) teaching, I have decided. My projects and time?

The simplest solution, is to condense the active ones down. I'm going to focus on four fics- counting this one -and my two quests. This is because I know my muse, and focusing on just one thing wouldn't cut it. And because I know my time won't allow for the same type of writing I've been doing, I figure that I can't possibly manage more than that. As such, I am condensing things. Focusing on the fics that I have the most inspiration for, and that are the most fun to work on. In this regard:

Destiny, TKA, Salvation, and this.

Two KC fics, one Madoka fic (like hell I'm letting Salvation die after rebooting it. It's next on the update list) and one Stargate fic. Plus the quests.

This is a nice variety, and allows me to write what my muse wants to write. KC is still the majority, but by focusing on Destiny and TKA I keep the variety- time travel history and crossover with Star Wars. By writing Salvation, I go back a bit in my roots and keep up with a fic I shouldn't have let die in the first place. And this fic allows for Stargate. Something I wanted to get fully back into after years of not writing it.

The snip thread will still be there too.

But this does mean that, unless student teaching takes less time than I expect, my others are on hiatus. Nothing to be done about that. Trying to write them would just slow me down at this point. So let's see how this goes.
 

Evidently it is a law of the universe that Little E has short hair. :V

(I am working on the next chapter. My youngest brother has been visiting this week, so I've understandably had less writing time)
