Attempting to Fulfill the Plan MNKh Edition

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
Have opted to change my vote due to economic necessity mandating that we be sexist a bit longer. Normally my opinion of services would be to just let the private sector handle this until we need to step in then either nationalize it or buy it out like we did with professional services earlier this plan, but then I forgot that the party has industry brainworms and doesn't consider services that important. Still better than OTL though! Don't worry, when the current batch of subminsters term out we'll have more opportunities for spreadsheet feminism. Or when Voz terms out and his huge political machine fragments, one of the two

When it comes to a transitions to services in the future wouldnt it be very easy? I mean we control the nations economy so when the time to transition comes we could just, ya know do it.

I'm convinced by the need to get someone in as deputy who cares about the service economy, so he can step into a leading role in the sector in the future (we should have medicine and education in an acceptable place by then, so spreading the focus more should be fine).

And while Nikonova has blood on her hands, so does most of the current generation of leaders, and it's not like the 'conventional' agricultural pick isn't also implicated in colonialism and environmental destruction - he just wasn't on the front line. It's a case where all of the Agri picks look bad and all the Services picks look good.

The CPSU doesn't think the services sector is important for anything, a mere footnote compared to Heavy and Light Industries. Once the old paradigm of industrial growth gets broken, the CPSU will become lost because investing in Services probably wouldn't even occur to them outside of the fringes of the Party.

The issue people have is that the private sector will have a headstart and the Party wouldn't care to nationalize non-industry stuff and just leave it to it.

The problem is that the CPSU is delusionally obsessed with heavy industry and is only now starting to care about light industry. They don't give a fuck about service industry thus it won't get a focus unless we put in the work ourselves. Having someone who truly believes in the importance of the service sector will let the ideas proliferate in the ministry at least and eventually let us implement them.
