Attempting to Fulfill the Plan MNKh Edition

cant wait for the option to start purging managers, be nice to have an option for it that's actually justified for once.

They only lied because they were afraid they would be shot for not meeting the quotas. Shooting people won't fix anything. Threatening to shoot them, then magnanimously granting them one last chance to redeem themselves (along with the whole rest of the department) will motivate much better.

We don't really need to threaten to shoot them ourselves either. We can just say that if this all goes tits up we're dragging them down with us when this all comes crashing down.

They most likely didn't fail quotas because they wanted to. And we already have ongoing purges, just more fear won't solve anything.
We'd have to do more education and reorganisation.

Can there be an option to place blame for our current predicament on the manager heads for feeding us false info? An argument could be made that we're behind on our quota because the intel we were given affected our planning and allotment of time and resources that should've been allotted to meet our goals but weren't due to our mistaken belief that said goals were already met.

We probably can. But that's a lot of managers to shoot. And it will end with very green managers. We can see in the narrative just how often the "new guys" and "new political guys" are complete incompetents. Whether they be just green factory workers, or new workers not fit to lay a wall properly.

There is no fortress the Bolsheviks cannot storm. It is our right, our capability, and indeed our duty as bolsheviks, as leaders, and as the vanguard of the proletariat to not shy away but to storm this and all other fortresses and obstructions that stand against the prosperity of the people and the advancement of the cause. HAVOC I SAY!

Am I imagining it or are our military dice pretty shitty? We'll need to beat the huns with quantity rather than quality.

Also, to heck with it let's go for broke: Either we tug on Stalin's moustache and survive, or the USSR is going down either way.

Because let's be real here for a second, short of massive scapegoating's (which the thread often vote against) or the war being at least as ugly as in real life, it is basically impossible to survive trying to bring together the reality of the USSR with Stalin's delusional fantasies about what can be done in just a few years, and I'm pretty sure any Soviet politician who survived through the Great Purge would know that.

So frankly, I just can't picture Mikoyan (perhaps the greatest survivor of all the Soviet leadership) not burying the evidence.

With the power of the New Soviet Math we shall overcome the lies we unknowingly absorbed from the old capitalist math!
