"[T]his should allow for greater coordination and action through the plan" sure sounds to me like it will do SOMETHING that makes us better at planning the economy, even if it's not a dice bonus
All the more reason to do it earlier.
...Yes, that's what I am saying. KV is good and we need to actually start producing it hence the god damned new tank factory and get experience at actually building such tanks. Our tanks are pretty good compared to OTL? The scout tank is an utter fucking disaster but the KV-alike is better than the real life one and the real life one was already pretty decent
Actually, even if it rolled not-that-great, our version of BT-7 is a fairly good tank, and it is, I believe, in large scale production. Granted, it could have been a revolutionary good tank (the dice denied us that) but it is still is better than most things in OTL. Both in our arsenal and in the enemies....Yes, that's what I am saying. That's why we're trying to get it out into the field ASAP. So the Red Army can realize how awful it is in Spain and demand something better before the Great Patriotic War actually starts....the scout tankette is a travesty, though. I hope everyone forgets those exist and uses armored cars instead. Not onlly we designed something from a previous decade, we failed even by those standarts.
Tbh, it probably won't help. To get a design this shit, your initial technical demand must be shit, as must be your understanding of the usege of this particular type of weaponry. I have to conclude that Red Army has no understanding on the uses of reconissance tanks and it is unlikely to develop it if its previous experience in Spain has taught it so little. That's why we're trying to get it out into the field ASAP. Eh, I don't think BT-7 is capable of standing up to Panzer-3 and 4, it was already starting to get replaced by T-34 before operation Barbarossa I believe.Actually, even if it rolled not-that-great, our version of BT-7 is a fairly good tank, and it is, I believe, in large scale production. Pz III / Pz IV were, indeed, superior - but not overwhelmingly so. But they were a minority in the Pazerwaffe, and the rest of it was composeed of older types and foreign types (Pz I, Pz II, Pz 35t, Pz 38t) which were a decent match against BT-7 - provided it was operational.Eh, I don't think BT-7 is capable of standing up to Panzer-3 and 4, it was already starting to get replaced by T-34 before operation Barbarossa I believe.
