You say "hey dont do this" in such a menacing way...
Dalla's the kind of person who will take a mile if you give an inch. We need to be firm in establishing hard limits, or she might decide to test those boundaries because we didn't make the implicit threat clear enough. Ironically, being harder on her now will probably do more to keep her alive.

Basically, we will ask her some questions and resume doing so until she says yes:
1. Do you prefer having me as an ally over having a dragon?
2. Do you prefer to not have me as an enemy over having a dragon?
3. Does the fire hurt?

This is very much the same as the Yrael situation a while ago. The most preferable outcome is that we have a polite chat with each other and can convince her that it will be more useful for her own goals to not resurrect a dragon and have it stomp around in the Vale. If she feels the need to oppose us about this though, we need to more firmly establish the pecking order.

@Goldfish could you add an action asking the Shaitan about protections against others buying Titans Tools or just using stone shape et al to fuck with infrastructure?

We gave plenty of carrots, time to show the stick if she's still hussy. Despite what she thinks, she's replaceable.

Part MMCDXIX: Threads of the Past
Threads of the Past

Twentieth Day of the Sixth Month 293 AC

As the journey to Valyria draws near you find yourself running through lists in your mind, more than you usually do that is. A self-depreciating smile must have slipped onto your face for Dany looks at you curiously. "Something funny? Besides the dragon who believes he is slipping into the crowd with hair so bright red it almost looks to be on fire I mean?"

"I was going over what else there is to do before we head east. The journey to the Iron Isles, of course, but I think it may be even more urgent to see what Dalla is planning. Nettles seemed a fine enough rider from all accounts of her, but the Seven Kingdoms does not need Sheepstealer to fly again." You tramp down on the annoyance. Dalla may have been thoughtless in proposing such a thing, but so far she has been reasonable once arguments are brought to bear. It ill behooves you to think ill of your allies.

"What about payment for the raid?" your sister asks as the two of you walk out of the library.

"Right... that might take a few hours before a meeting can be arranged," you sigh. However, aid comes from an unexpected corner.

You are not quite sure how sound of someone purposefully clearing their throat can carry in the busy entrance hall, but Leto somehow manages it. "Pardon, my lord," she interjects. "But unless I misunderstand the circumstances, you require someone to deliver a message, claim a reward, and then commission enchantments. There are many in your service whose time is less precious than yours who might manage that task, myself included."

Beyond the subtle ploy to move to a more prestigious assignment, you realize she has unveiled a telling truth that had come upon you unbidden. You have subjects skilled and strong enough to make the journey to the Opaline Vault or Armun Kelisk without fear or mishap. Truth be told you could probably send a small company of Erinyes even into the Bazaar of Beggars were it not for your recent raid there.

"I applaud the initiative," you answer with a restrained but honest smile. A few minutes later you hand her a list of talismans to buy and enchanters you did business with in the past, another of previously-arranged meeting places with the Grand Vizier, and for safety's sake one of the borrowed rings to guard her from any prying seer's gaze.

Monk's Belt (2,600 IM)
Plane Shift Talisman [2/Day] (6,480 IM)
Ring of Mighty Fists [+3] (7,200 IM)
Soulfire Bracers (5,000 IM)

Your other task, however, cannot be handed off. With Dany still at your side, you walk unseen through the camp of the Sons of the Mist... unseen to most at least. One sharp-eyed sentinel with the look of a shaman's apprentice from the necklace of bones he wears sees through the glamour, but obviously recognizes you also.

"Probably best to slow down so he can give some warning of our arrival," Dany suggests. "We will be handing enough ill news without shocking them with our arrival."

Seeing her point you slow down, allowing the clansman to enter Dalla's hut first.

So it is that you are greeted with bread and salt before you even divest yourselves of the glamour. The young godspeaker is not, however, alone but accompanied by a woman who you recognize not only from Dany's descriptions but writings from the days of the Dance. A slight dark-haired young woman, recalling more the Dornishmen than a Dragonseed's usual look, her eyes belaying her youthful appearance. Old they are and sorrowful from having witnessed the ruin of all she loved. But for all that there is steel in Nettles' back as she looks at you. You can well imagine how she gained the eye of Daemon Targaryen and the hatred of his queen.

"So you're the witch king, then?" she asks without preamble. Looking you up and down she adds, "You look the part at least." Then her gaze falls upon Dark Sister and her eyes darken with sorrow and longing. For all you've no intention to raise her princely paramour from the dead you feel a twinge of sympathy for the woman who had lost her whole world piece by agonizing piece.

What do you say?

OOC: As I began writing this update I was trying to think about how to make it work without feeling jarring considering the fact that it jumped around from two vastly different places. Then I realized there's no reason why Viserys has to fetch and buy things in person, and I used that to give Leto a bit of characterization.

Leto is one of the Erinyes, right?
Good on her! I'm not certain that sending Erinyes is the best PR choice for this, but whatever. The Shaitan will understand.

Otherwise, it's a shame that I couldn't see the picture of Nettles :'(

Yeah, I know my strengths and this type of situation doesn't play to them at all.
