For once, let's prevent the Doomsday Ritual of Doom from ever being used rather than rolling in mid-casting.

We have the opportunity here to just completely shit all over the Devils' plans before they can initiate them. Considering that those plan involve the Alchemist's Guild, probably including Wildfire, in the middle of King's Landing, I think surgically removing the threat sooner rather than later is called for.

I'm sorry that wasn't my intention and I have stated my case before, it's just that I kinda lost hope with how people just jumped on bandwagon so quickly is all.

I'll stop now and sorry for being annoying.
It's just that I laid out my reasoning at least twice already, but you never responded to that and instead claimed repeatedly that we are acting only out of fear / paranoia.

Had you posted a plan to take the guild intact, I would at least have considered it.

[X] Azel

Blow it all up! Or whatever alternative ending sounds appropriate for a bunch of pyromaniacs.

So, when we invade Westeros, we are going to go for Dragonstone --> King's landing right? Remove the head of the snake. Once Jon, Robert, and his children are taken care of we will only have Tywin to deal with. Without a proper claimant on their side no one except Tywin and maybe the faith will truly want to oppose us head on, at least in the beginning.

Well, as long as we can convince Stannis not to go for the throne.

That being said... we do have a rather large hole underneath the entire guild. Is there any ritual WE could cast, like a mass sleep, to allow us to search the guild uninpeeded?

I'm sadly not that smart and Goldfish had something made and highly voted for while I was doing school stuff.

My plan would have come down to seeking out grand master and speaking with him, from there it would have been convincing him to follow our orders and help purge his order of devils. I'm sure no one wanted to invest in that.

Please, do elaborate on what you mean by this.
I thought it was pretty clear. Viserys is completely opposed to killing children so we will probably have to send them to different corners of the world or something. Put joffrey in some orphanage in Mantarys and Mycrella in bravos or farther. Ofc, devils and their like may might able to find them through divination.

So we will have to deal with it somehow.

Sorry for nitpicking DP, but this is one of the most common typo in this story. Perhaps you mean:

Below - as in beneath, underground.

The chapter title read like we already exploded the guildhouse and the smallfolk called it the Dragon's Bellow (as in roar).

I have high hopes that Joffrey will be part of a collateral damage statistic.

I've already fixed that in my edits, it's just a matter of DP getting back to upload them.

Anyway, @Massgamer, I'm sorry you're feeling down about this, but to most of us the Alchemist's Guild just represented an unacceptable risk that we weren't willing to compromise on.

I've got my fingers crossed that Joffrey somehow takes charge before our conquest. Cersei is the gift that keeps on giving, but Joffrey... Joffrey is Santa Clause come every day for us.

Since we are destroying it anyway is there any way we can collect any remains of books/lore in general or is it safe to assume all will be lost?

Consensus, @DragonParadox.

It's safe to say that everything's going to be gone, up to and including magic items. Wildfire purges pretty much everything.

I believe even hoping for petrified people/devils out of this is going to turn up nothing. They'll either be killed in the fall or obliterated by the wildfire.

The only books that survive will need to be heavily enchanted, made from etched Valyrian Steel or similarly durable materials, or protected by some serious spells. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you, though.

[X] Perform the collapse tonight, you end thatever the threat is before it can begin

Concensus for the update god!

I don't think anything below Artifact tier will survive and even those will be lost in the fused rubble.
