Sticking to @Crake for being a sufficient level of asshole for the locale, but ultimately, I only care about removing the obstacle. Let's just get on with it people as all the votes are by now slight variants of "have Richard beat him to death with his own severed arm".

[X] Allow Richard to deal with the idiot, but ask him to make the Fire Giant's end slow and painful. Idiocy does not deserve a quick, merciful death.

[X] Goldfish

good enough for me

[X] Goldfish

@Goldfish I'd rather he make it quick, we've got a schedule to keep.

Why are you guys voting to make a show out of it?

I want to see Dark Sister in action once more. She's been sidelined too much.
Remember people, the duel against Relath. We can wield Dark Sister while in Half-Dragon form.

[X] Face him yourself.
-[X] Draw Dark Sister and Transform into Huge Half-Dragon form.
-[X] Go for a quick kill, to the heart or eye. Use Wings of Cover if necessary.
-[X] If chance will let us, Breath Weapon to the face!

We're trying to pass ourselves off as not a dragon. Halfdragon form gives the game away.

Am Dragon. Also, the Salamanders may get impressed with it better.

Dragon time happens later. I know I'm disappointed too, but we've got to lull our prey into a false sense of security before we spring the trap and viciously tear them apart.

We have plans than involve them alive, or at the very least their corpses, and we can't do that if they run like the cowards they are. Besides, it'll make a far better compelling argument trouncing Efreet than whaling on what is essentially a fat guardsman.

Mostly because I didn't see your plan until literally just now.

I somehow get the feeling that the thread is very eager to pull out the high-level spells and go on a murder spree.

  • [X] Adopt a patronizingly sympathetic tone: "Were you dropped on your head one too many times as a youth? Or perhaps your tribe needed an anvil on short notice and used your skull as a stopgap measure? If you'll wait until my business is done, I have a good reference to heal the brain addled for you. Run along now, don't want you tripping and then falling into the Sea of Fire."
-[X] Allow Richard to beat on him like a literal red-headed stepchild.
    --[X] Use TNE's battle plan.
[X] Allow Ser Richard to answer the giant's challenge
-[X] Start fight in Pearl of Black Doubt stance, use Manticore Parry to redirect his best attack towards himself, Wall of Blades to try and block anything dangerous, and try nailing him with a Disrupting Blow early on. Charge if you won initiative in the first round, otherwise use the maneuver. Use Lightning Recovery if you miss with DB.
-[X] If it is successful, recharge your man users by only making a standard attack and spending a swift action while he is dazed. Try and chain Disrupting Blows, but recovering the Parrying and Wall of Blades
[X] This situation is stupid and annoying. We have some skill at magic, enough to look after ourselves at least, and not enough patience to humour you. Stand aside or I will put you on the ground. Continue after and I will take your corpse and all upon it.
-[X] If not backing down, cast agonising fire darts (3 darts).
