Open to thoughts on how to improve plan, @Duesal any thoughts?

[X] Plan Cover bases.
-[X] Pluck from Tor's mind all the information we can, specifically everything regarding serpentfolk he was attacking and the undead he sicked on them.
-[X] Afterwards have Tyene curse Tor as much as possible, turtle him, and then bottle him on top of everything to make sure he is contained. Yss will have his meal later of the one that tried to kill his children.
-[X] Heal but keep serpentfolk aligned to him imprisoned and we will hand them over to rest of their kin later.
-[X] Head towards besieged serpentfolk with damage healed and spells reapplied if needed since they can still be under attack.

So, um, before we feed him to Yss, I wanna have a talk with Tor.

Specifically, I wanna tell him how we intended to negotiate with him back in Braavos so that we could provide voluntarily the blood for his magic so that he didn't have to keep slaves.

Then he left and decided to go full stupid evil villain. He deserves worse than soul elimination, but I don't feel like outsourcing torture methods to Baator

We decided to kill him when leaving, rather than giving him a choice of "let us help you or we kill you". It was an unfortunate plan :/.

But yeah, I would have been totally unboard with helping Tor achieve his goals via ethical means. He could have paid us in id ing items and doing research.

That was badass.

@DragonParadox Vee somehow used Crafter's Fortune to warp reality in Lya's favor. I'm impressed. :p

... Fabricate on her body as it was being disintegrated? :p

Shit. I wanna pretend to be the good guy at least.

Yeah, me too. Eh, not like we haven't made many poor decisions before.

And hey Tor's dead! and he got us... Evil!Snek remains, two mages, loot from pentos and even more loot now. Good work Tor!

BTW, I totally called it. Tor really did interrupt our ritual, just like we've done a few times. I think the Over Deity of this setting might have a thing against powerful ritual magic...

With healing magic and Vee's flesh grafting abilities, I think we should be able to flay Tor, while keeping him alive for sacrificial purposes.

The skin can maybe be used for a pair of slippers or some nice gloves? Or what about Minotaur jock straps?
The grafts seem like the most useful thing.

The venom sacs especially would be a prize.

It's not that. It's that we decided to do the ritual in Tor's backyard instead of doing the smart thing and going somewhere more remote. That ritual had an unlimited range.

EDIT: I'm not complaining, though. We didn't waste any charges on the Staff, and we get TWO of Tor's skulls. :D Viserys even had the thought IC.

@DragonParadox Assuming that these snake people that Tor had with him are victims who made poor choices also, I'm probably going to suggest killing over sacrifice unless someone makes a good point or we learn they are fiend cultist types. Basically, how much is their corpses worth in HD for the fungus forge? :p

I thought the idea was to draw him out by making a threat he had to respond to (as if he did not, he would be witless when we attacked just after)?

Or Tor might have some means of looking out to see in front of his lair.
Bah, logic!

I'm actually happy we lured him out rather than having to go dungeon delving, looking out for traps and any contingencies he had in place.

Odd that none of the plant jellyfish used this opporunity to snatch a snack.

By the way, we need those looted and domesticated to be the defenders of our orchards or the CotF village.

I'm totally with Duesal on this.

Tor is getting eaten by Yss now.
But before that, we are flaying him alive, and taking out some useful organs.

No more he is Tor the shitty-vampire-mage.
He is a fuckmothering Naga sorcerer now, of Stupid Evil alignment no less.

A decent amount, they are strongly magical, however there is little resonance with the Old Gods' domains

Yes, it did, though he lost some nifty pseudo-vampiric abilities in the process.
Called it!

Would that work for other types of spellcasters, by the way? Could we reincarnate Hedge Mages as strongly magical creatures if one of them reaches a high level?
I'm thinking of crazy shit like Dalla and going "ugh, what if that happens to us?". Sure having high-leveled people of any class is great, but it just feels so offensive ot have a high-level Hedge Mage...

So, uuuh...
How big is this temple complex, exactly, @DragonParadox?

If sufficiently buffed we are capable of lifting some absolutely absurd weights, and all we'll need is some structural stability increase *cough* Titan's Tools *cough* for it to not fall apart.

Snek people will sure appreciate us setting up their old home in their new home.

If they get high level 10+ they can just retrain as full PC casters, though reincarnation would be a short-cut yes.

It's the size of a small city and much of it is delved into solid rock deep beneath the surface.
...So, a few day's worth of cutting through rock with Lyre to make the place into a bunch of separable blocks, and reinforcing those with Titan's Tools?

Mmmm....
On one hand, timesink-ey.
On the other hand - an ancient place with ancient magical wrought upon it.

[] Cleaning up
-[] Strip Tor of all magic items
--[] In the meantime, Tyene goes through standard cursing procedure on Tor, all while making sure he doesn't wake up in the process
-[] Turtle Tor and his snake minions, and put Tor's turtled form in a bottle for good measure, but leave one of the snake minions unturtled for interrogation
--[] Interrogate for enemy numbers, traps, captives, any ongoing rituals, where the local treasures are, layout of the comple and where the important rooms are, how many besieged defenders are left alive, where the besieged defenders have walled themselves in, etc. Use whatever magic necessary for this. Afterwards, turtle him.
-[] Make sure everyone is properly healed, and Lya recasts Heart of the Earth, and Viserys is healed of Charisma damage
-[] The Bodak remains are collected for now, perhaps Yss might be able to do something with them. Put them in Ser Richard's corpse-ferrying bag.
-[] We make sure the spirit lizard and the eggs remained safe during the battle
--[] The spirit lizard is instructed to keep guarding the eggs until we get back
-[] Through use of Wayfinder (especially its Lay of the Land ability) and using the intel we got from the prisoner, we carefully make our way to the surviving snake people.

Simple enough.

... Okay. Give me a second to dig up info on Dalla again.
