I like how Vaelana is so blase about lopping off a creeper's hand, like she's just talking about the weather.
We've raised her well...
She already killed a helpless prisoner to hatch her dragon. Compared to that maiming someone with the clear intent to do harm is much more palatable.

We'll be providing the focus (ice heart) and curse (our staff and ritual).
With OGs help however?
We can empower the curse even further, and it will be us doing that, with our resources, and not OGs, so we can curse all winter-aligned beings on Westeros with such ritual, with our Others getting a counter-action.

Move what tree? We are moving a tree? Oh well, i guess as long as It is us doing It directly instead of paying the old Gods to do It for us, we are safe.
I want to use the heart as is, just keep draining It, that way the others cant take an action and still lose something.

...No, if Old Gods use their powers on their own volution, then Others get a counter to that.
The same applies to others.
If a mortal asks either for something and pays for providing what he asked?
Both OGs andOthers can act freely without looking back at their opponent.
It is why Mossforge can make leshi for us as much as we want, and Others don't get free minions for every of ours.
The Ice Heart...
It is problematic. Several questions needs to be answered before applying it in any capacity.
1) The nature of it's connection to Others, whether energy can be pulled from it indefinitely, how safe would that be and how to make that safe.
1.1) Can energy be pulled from it in a big burst of power, allowing for mass-cursing conceptual shenanigans and/or remaking it into s greater artifact of Old Gods?
2) Would "unleashing" its full power on PM allow Others to take hold? Does Fumbulwinter it creates every day make a small window of opportunity for Others?
2.1) Would it be possible to damage Others' plane through it, if it is unleashed in sufficiently problematic place, like the boundary between plane of Void and Negative Energy plane?
2.2) Would a plane it is "unleashed" on be damaged?
Etc.
We know too little on its conceptual bulllshit to even guess how good a generator for Shadow Tower/WMD against Street/Greater Curse ritual focus/Artifact of Old Gods it will be.
