Generic dryad seeds should become courtiers, not Queens, and thus belong on the ships.

No, this seed would become a Queen, or rather is already a queen, since it was born of a queen (and planted into a different Queen).
More dryads would not have the same weight, not all dryads are queens, and thus would not be able to quickstart the court, not properly at least.

Its ok, the fleet idea is cool too.
A single ship i find wasteful, a relic of past times, a quaint tool to take out of the shed every other year.
But a fleet would be amazing, and since DP said that seeds are apparently not all that rare, a fleet is certainly possible.

Yep, more or less, it does not have to be a Dryad, any other nascent Fey Queen we can get our hands on would work.
In fact, i doubt we would get another Dryad Queen seed, we might have to settle for something else.
We should be on the lookout for Dryads anyway tho, because thats what we know works for awakening ships.
Edit: Of course, if we do find another cool seed, or something else that works as a queen, that definitely goes to the forest.

@TotallyNotEvil, I hope we can upgrade the ballistas on the Queen Rhaella to be double-crossbow variants instead of the standard ones after we do the ritual. Similarly I hope we can have Viserys use Harden over the whole ship. It would be ideal if this was done beforehand, though.
