Speaking about magebane poison. We don't we just go raiding the Abyss and Baator? It is way more simple. Alternatively, enlist as mercenaries in the Blood War. Nobody will complain if we gather sacrifices.

@Goldfish, please add turtling the biggest spider right away and having Maelor catch it. I'd like that sacrifice squared away and not damaging the other sacrifices by collapsing.

Is waffles a gaming term .. or is this a RL thing?

I want waffles.

@Goldfish no telepathic bond from Viserys? Sorc/Wiz 5, enables amazing communication, 10 Min per cl, caster + 1/3 cl people as targets.
(So Viserys + 5)
I like the idea, but the group isn't splitting up yet and we only have so many Blood Wishes. Not going to waste one unnecessarily when we're about to go into combat.

Enhances communication mid battle (sharing spot checks and knowledge checks at need without talking), allows for party splittage and return with ease if need be.

It's a fantastic spell, and I'm going to push for Lya to learn it, even if it is not as useful here

For stuff like Volantis where we plan split up, it would be even more useful btw

Unless it's a Lemure or Dretch that was our Vrock-aquaintance after degradation for his failures (or at the random whims of the Abyss).

In that case we want to upgrade that dretch to Balor levels, so that he can keep fucking up the plans of the Abyss, now in the grand scheme of things

Maybe on day it will deliver us an easily conquered layers of the Pit for us.

I get the impression that to rule over one of the outer planes of law or evil or good, one is warped into being the ruler befitting that place, if that makes any sense?

Needless to say, Dany is going to be using a template for this upcoming fight to augment her abilities.

Should we used the standard, but quite amazing Half-Celestial template, or can we use some of her Psychic Creature templates?

I'm thinking Telepath and Precognizant. Between those, she would gain some nice but irrelevant skill bonus, a very nice +8 bonus to Initiative, Telepathy with a range of 100 feet, and all of the following:
Telepath: At will—detect thoughts; 1/day— dream, mind blank, phantasmal killer, telepathic bond.

Precognizant: At will—guidance (self only); 3/day—augury, moment of prescience; 1/day— foresight.

Precognizant: Foresight (Su): A precognizant functions as though constantly affected by a foresight spell (caster level equals precognizant's character level). The precognizant receives instantaneous warnings of impending danger to itself and gains a general idea of what actions it might take to protect itself. It is never surprised or flat-footed, and gains a +2 insight bonus to AC and on Reflex saves. This insight bonus is lost whenever the precognizant creature would be denied its Dexterity bonus to AC.

Telepaths: Informed Prediction (Su): If the telepath has successfully used detect thoughts against a creature within 24 hours, it gains a +2 dodge bonus against that creature's attacks and a +2 insight bonus on saves against that creature's spells and special attacks.
Mind Blank, even on just one person, is quite nice, and she could use Telepathic Bond to link herself with up to four party members. Another prize is Moment of Prescience, which is like the bigger, older, more badass brother of Divine Insight, which can affect nearly every possible roll, not just skill checks.

@Goldfish Our strategy is simple for Viserys, TD before going, exploit blindness to detect targets, cast Merciful Agonizing Searing Firebrand and then a Searing Quickened one.

Anything that didn't go down with one won't die from a normal one. Anything that did we don't need to target.

That's probably what we'll do, but that will be for the vote when we get there and combat commences. Thanks for reminding me to put Viserys in True Dragon form.

Do you think we should do the Teleport with everyone in the air and flying? Safer than starting on the ground and maybe getting spider swarmed.
