@DragonParadox when is the next Uncloaking again? Kinda want to know if we can use it to make or alliance with Braavos public by attending the party of the Bathtub-Supervisor again.

The Twenty-Eighth of the Seventh Month was the last one we attended. We missed last year's, but we got to attend 291's and 290's. Pretty sure we were still gutter rats by the time 289 came and passed (or living in Darry's villa).

BTW I have a bit of a RL announcement to make regarding the update rate during the next little while. Friday to Tuesday I will be going on holiday to London and will likely be spending a significant portion of the day doing tourist things. Thankfully I will have wireless in the hotel room this time so there will hopefully be some updates, just not as many as usual.

And now back to our regularly scheduled Finances and Dragons.

Don't get stabbed! And watch our for shady people on motorcycles with jars of acid...

...because I'm American and most of the news I see coming out of London makes it sound like the place is auditioning to be a new Free City somewhere in northwestern Essos.

[X] Agree to the very rough outline for now, with the specific checks and balances to be worked out later.
-[X] On a previous subject, ask him to keep an eye on any communications between the Ironbound and Westeros, you have unraveled a few plots there with the same objectives, if they are not allies yet, we would do well keeping them from becoming aware of each other.

BTW, DP going on vacation means it's non-canon omake time again.

Maybe I'll be able to fight off my laziness long enough to write part three of my Worm/ASwaH crossover.

Oh, shoot! The Citadel Conspiracy! We should mention that might become an issue incase they reach out to the Iron Bound - @Azel ! this may be important!

@Goldfish that would be awesome. Tbh, I kinda would like to see more of Viserys in GoT/ASoIaF too, but that is basically a power fantasy type after the (awesome) introduction we got.

It'll give me a chance to catch all of you guys up on my canon omake series, of which... a lot has happened in the intervening month, though I guess you wouldn't think it given I haven't been updating it.

I also need to update my PMMM Maelor one. Aaand... I wanted to do "Ser Richard is Tom Cruise in Yi Ti AKA The Last Xia".

"TRANSPORTED TO THE COURT OF THE AZURE EMPEROR BY MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE, SER RICHARD LONMOUTH IS A LEGEND ON THE FIELD OF BATTLE, EVEN AS FAR AS YIN HIS PROWESS HAS BEEN HEARD. WHEN HE WAS ENLISTED TO PUT DOWN A REBELLION OF SOME TRADITIONALIST UPSTARTS IN EXCHANGE FOR HELP CONTACTING HIS KING, HE COULD NOT HAVE IMAGINED FALLING INTO A LEGENDARY ADVENTURE FILLED WITH THE BURNING PASSION OF KUNG FU!"

Awesome syonpsis, but it fails in one vital area - Viserys would go first run divinations, then ask Yss, then message and find Richard and then scarafice the cause to the OG in very short order.

Some sort of unexpected temporal effect allowing Richard to be in two places at once without anyone noticing could allow for it, I suppose.

So Richard has to do all the hero work, while avoiding actions that would cause the party to investigate Yi To looking for a Richard analogue, which, thanks to the 0 communications infrastructure, should be rather easy :D

Richard's Mind Blank is basically what the entire plot hinges upon. I'm pretty sure he can turn it off? But I'm basically using handwavium to make it always on, and basically, the entire plotline stems from Richard being so conceptually stubborn, that the fabric of the universe railroaded things to go like this.

[X] Tentatively agree to enter into a deal with the Sealord and the Iron Bank of Braavos, more closely welding them to our growing empire, the Imperium.

He can't turn it off because he knows things that Viserys decided to forget! :D

Pff. @Goldfish, @Crake, you're hilarious! You badmouth London and Paris for being dangerous? Terrorism? What a joke!
You are all far likelier to die visiting the USA than here: you'll get shot. Yeah, America's fun gun violence problem makes the occasional terrorist attack look like a statistical blip (which it is. You're more likely to die hit by a bus than killed by a terrorist, but those don't make for scary photos in the media).

And @Duesal: I too want more of your Daenerys in canon omakes. They could be great!

Yeah, that works. Basically they were in the middle of another elaborate memory erasure plot, and he had (one of, because obviously there were contingencies) the key to it. So he can't let up his mental composure an ounce for fear of giving up the goose for his King, but he would need to for his King to find him paradoxically... so he decided to just be stubborn and figure out how to either get in contact, or get back himself. Traveling by ship is unacceptable, it would take too long and there'd be too much chance for it to go awry, so he thought, "the Azure Emperor has court mages too, right? I'll just go to them."

And it obviously doesn't work out that simply.

Well, i do want to try moving away from comedy omakes and into more serious stuff, maybe something to get the Sothoryos hype going.
