I don't know about you guys but I'm not interested in funding aa temple to Burny in SD, we already have 3 other gods if our citizens want to worship. And even giving the appearance of our support is not going to go over well with anyone.

For becoming a healer - could she become either become a concept cleric and trade in sorcerer levels (retraining), or apprentice to Dany?

Sure, both of those should be possible.

@DragonParadox, double-checking, but we wanted to make certain that Valaena, Asha, and Theon were all here for the Merling King temple. They will be here, right?

Asha and Theon are not yet here but they should be on their way back.

Also, @DragonParadox, here's what the finished temple is supposed to be:
Out of the cliffs of the Deep juts a grand temple. Build from sturdy granite and decorated with pearls and corals, it looks like the heart of a sunken city from ancient times.

Piers allow ships to anchor and many a vessel coming to or going from the island will make a stop here. Captains and sailors alike pray for a safe journey or offer thanks for one.

Deep in the rock lays a chamber. During high tide, it is completely submerged, but during low tide it's only shin deep. There rests the blood of the Merling King.

Sold?

@DragonParadox there's a problem: one of the two new Sorcerer 7 cast Inflict Moderate Wounds at us when we found them, and that spell isn't available to Clerics at all. And if Sarah had divine casting of any sort she'd have a healing spell or two, right?
So should the Summer Islander be a Divine Caster, or does he have an odd build (like the Domain Access ACF for example)? Or will there be a slight retcon to change what he cast at us? The link is already wrong on that update anyway: it leads to Mass Inflict Wounds when you later said that the spell was just Inflict Minor wounds.

Or we could crush the ones who actually rebel. If we're going to be crushing people.
Making an example early on means there's a lower chance of rebellions happening as people will think "hmm I'd like to rebel but I don't want to end up like_____", it doesn't even have to be the Lannisters tbh but we definitely should make an example of the first ones to do so if only to save ourselves the effort of dealing with more.

*cheeks notes*

That's what I get for not making full character sheets. I wrote down 'spontaneous caster', spell DC, touch attack value and AC and then forgot that one of said spontaneous casters was a mystic.

Sorry for the misinformation guys.

Fffffffffuck Burny and Fffffffffffuck spreading his religion.
@Azel, @Goldfish, @Snowfire, we need you!
Time to go full-bore duplomancy on Fucker's priest.

Also, I certainly wouldn't mind SD getting
Religious Tolerance

Source Cityscapes: New Settlement Options for the Pathfinder RPG.

The settlement is known for its widespread religious tolerance, and many faiths have temples, cathedrals or monasteries here. Religious debates in the public square are common.

Increase Lore +1, Society +1. Increase divine spellcasting by +2 levels.
but setting him as a part of our main pantheon?
Hell to the fuck no.

Everyone can get a small shrine if their views and religious practices don't go against laws of realm and common fucking sense, but asshats like Burny, Drowny, Timmie or Daddy? Sssscrew the fuckers.

1. Valaena's house has an ancient connection with the Merling King. Wanted to see if anything special could be done with that when we summon the Merling King's Daughter.
2. I'm hoping for extra bonuses if we can get the Greyjoy heirs to sacrifice the Driftwood Crown. That'd be the ultimate way to fuck over the Drowned God, his chosen line sacrificing his artifact to an enemy god.

Relax, it's just one cleric. And with Tyrosh we're going to be getting R'hllorists anyway. This isn't something we can avoid, we just need to make sure to corrupt him.

How strong is a Wyvern for Bloodwish?

Duration is only rounds per level but I think high level play makes us underestimate discount dragon for 90 seconds, that requires PC level response if they can get there in time.

Actually according to the divination she was planning to steal knowledge, which mean she wasn't really targeting the horde, she was targeting our library, and we have copies of most things in there, or can get them by revisiting the source.

I was happy to ignore this endless back and forth but what the hells are you trying to say here?!?

Knowledge is the most important part of the hoard.

I'd burn every coin we had and spit on the ashes before losing our hoard of knowledge.

I'm pretty sure some of those people were pretty hyped by the idea of converting this cleric Rhlorites gave us for free.
But yeah, I'm just... Well, I'm a tad bit triggered by the notion of asshole-gods spreading their influence.

I was just thinking about that, trying to remember if there was any way for a Sorcerer to access the Inflict line of spells.

EDIT: LOL, now I see that DP just made a booboo.

@DragonParadox: can we get any hints as to Sarah's backstory? Did she give a general idea of her life to Daenerys?

EDIT: Build removed. It's on page 6904 instead.

Totally in agreement.
...
But we also totally should set out some dragonpens (once we make a medium-sized pile of them for scholarum purposes, that is) on making copies of every single book in our library.
And relocating all originals into, say, the most protected part of ST.
Because, I'm afraid, our keep is pretty damn easy to infiltrate by a PC, let alone a mage PC.

No need to panic over the single zealot. We have our chance to diplomance and corrupt him. We can speak with him further, find out how much of a zealot he is, where his weak points are, and then wear away at them. Given enough time and enough diplomancing, he'll be ours and not R'hllor's.

Maybe we should start by finding a Dornishwoman for him.

EDIT: Faceless'd. Tomcost has had his revenge.

She also has babies. Which means that when she meets us and the crew and realizes there's no way in hell she can take us she can just give up for their sake.

And Tywin is a moron when it comes to securing loyalty beyond fear. Oh, he rewarded her, but nothing we couldn't match. We are also someone who gets things like 'devils are dangerous'. All in all we're a better bet. Gerion might be a problem but he can probably be convinced to give up to spare his family.

This. I seriously doubt someone of Lanna's caliber wouldn't have had her fill of the glass ceiling of being simultaneously vital yet subordinate to someone she could incinerate with a gesture, and wouldn't easily read the implications of her (and her children) attached to ignoble monikers of "witch", "whore", etc in the random conversation of the nobility. The only reason we're not a better deal right now seems to be bad reputation and lingering family sentiment (and from all accounts, more on the part of Lanna's husband than herself).

To paraphrase one resolute chap and his kindly mentor: if she could be turned, she would become a powerful ally. She would become a great asset. Can it be done?

So...
@DragonParadox, I understand it is kind of unreasonable to expect that much from you, but do you, by any chance, have a map of Sorcerer's Deep, with points of interest/current building projects marked?

I'm having a lot of trouble visualising it and Azel, sadly, has no time to work on that map of his :(

Huh, Sarah should actually be a pretty good teacher at the Scholarium, right? She's a sorcerer so she had to learn how to heal the "hard way" instead of just having the knowledge inherently. Also this is why we should get some Good Gods around! Yss and Merling King aren't really the Healing type. Weeping Lady and Moonsinger would be a great conversion.

I'm really not one of the go to people for diplomacy. If it was up to me I'd have Viserys send the priest packing.

@DragonParadox: can we get any hints as to Sarah's backstory? Did she give a general idea of her life to Daenerys?
I'm guessing that she's likely to do more healing than fighting, but that she wouldn't be entirely unwilling to help against demons/devils/oozes/illithids if needed (and convinced) - she must have done some fighting to reach level 7!

Here's a sample build that she could have after a few months in Sorcer's Deep (time spent healing and in the Scholarum where she might teach and she might learn some things from our Divine Casters and maybe even Lya (who's doing great at blending Divine and Arcane Magic). I'm giving her the Elite Array because she's level 7, which probably indicates an exceptional life).
Retraining needed: She'd have to learn ranks in Knowledge (Religion), then learn the Arcane Disciple and Touch of Healing feats (getting rid of whatever terrible feats she used to have) and retrain spells to get those 2 Divine Spells on her spells known list. This would probably take months, so I don't expect her to be useable for a while if you accept this character sheet as I presume that you don't want her to have to make a bunch of "half-retrained" character sheets. Oh, and she has no gear here beyond basic clothing even though I presume that she'll eventually buy better stuff or that we'll give her better stuff.
Still, this makes her a decent healer and should be far quicker than retraining seven levels into Cleric levels!

Note: Heal is a cross-class skill for Sorcerers. The only way I could find to give it to her would be the Draconic Heritage (Gold) feat or through a Template, and I presume that both of those are out of order for her. Even feats like Education or Apprentice can't grant Heal as a class skill. Still, I maxxed it so it still isn't terrible (she is level 7 after all).

Sarah the Healer: Human Sorcerer 7
HP: 26, Initiative: +0,
AC: 10, Touch: 10,
Fort: +3, Ref: +3, Will: +7,

STR 8, DEX 10, CON 13, INT 12, WIS 14, CHA 16,

Feats: Able Learner, Versatile Spellcaster, Arcane Disciple (Renewal), Touch of Healing
ACF: Beleaguered Spellcaster (replaces familiar): 4/day, whenever you take an amount of damage equal to 3 times your spellcaster level from one attack, the next spell you cast is automatically maximized or extended (your choice) without increasing the spell level or casting time.
Skills: Concentration +11, Heal +7, Profession (Healer) +8, Knowledge (arcana) +11, Knowledge (Religion) +5, Spellcraft +8,
Equipment: Everyday clothing,
Attack: N/A (her BaB is +3)

Spells Known (Spontaneous Caster):
Level 0: Arcane Mark, Detect Poison, Detect Magic, Message, Mending, Read Magic, Prestidigitation (6/day)
Level 1: Charm Person, Grease, Mage Armor, Unseen Servant, Sleep (7/day)
Level 2: Insight of Good Fortune, Lesser Restoration (Arcane Disciple spell), Wings of Cover (7/Day)
Level 3: Deep Slumber, Remove Disease (Arcane Disciple spell) (5/day)
Note: Each day you may cast a maximum of once Arcane Disciple spell of each level. They are Wis-based. As long as one is uncast, Touch of Healing can be used at will and up to 1/2 of target's max HP.

Wings of Cover is a special spell we needed Divine intervention to learn (assuming the Gold Kobold really was an avatar of Bahamut) during a dragon dream. I don't think anyone else can learn it.
