To what?

The OGs don't want them and it's not worth setting Yss to sleep.

I guess we could try to figure out how to channel the necromantic energy freed up in the destruction of lesser undead into something useful, but research with uncertain results is not really popular right now.
Yss wouldn't go to sleep from lesser undeads, he only need to digest higher HD meals, he can eat as many lesser undeads as he want.

We need 5 more days of research to handle Amrelath's (and also Menel's by extension) issue of needing a living body.
Not quite. The research will be done in 5 days, yes, but providing an actual body gets tricky. Menel is simple, only needing directed reincarnation, but making a new dragon's body for Amrelath would need more work. That's why the go-to option wasn't, "why don't we have Lya build you a body?" it was "why don't we find some unlucky dragon's body that you can steal and take as your own. So we're stuck until we get that resource.
They give nothing for INT 0-2.
They only give less, but something, for INT3-6.
Nonsentient undead cannot be used in the DoB ritual.

The assumption that they could be used for non ritual sacrifice is just that; an assumption. And even if it were the case, it would give piddly amounts in HD, and in addition would be geographic based in direct boons or a small upgrade of a pre-existing artifact locked into domain.

Yes, I know who I'm talking to. Neither of those statements will dissuade Duesal from shucking every scrap into the compost bin if he can manage it.

But there's extra logistics in herding around zombies and skeletons and other shit, which I'm not even vaguely interested in bothering with when the rewards from doing so are negligible.
Day of Blood is not what I want these for, sacrifices in general are what I hate wasting. And no, nonsentience is not a blanket "this is worth nothing to us". The Old Gods still give something for special sacrifices, be they undead or magical. DP has confirmed this. That's why sacrificing a nonsentient hippogriff for example would get us something.

I am not assuming. Quit saying that.

Also we'd be generating more PR concerns with the greater number and length of time we're keeping undead around. A quick control -> sacrifice of the intelligent and important ones, and destruction of all others we find is a positive PR event. Collecting them and keeping them in pits for days on end...isn't quite.

You're taking my statement that you aren't "assuming something" and applying information that I'm not aware of without providing sources and then acting like I'm the bad guy.

I'm just... whatever? Whatever dude.

Edit: This is the last I'll say on this, because I just don't find it that important? Whenever I've tried to disprove or prove something someone else said, I went back and searched for the posts relevant to the discussion so that I don't come off like I'm trying to assert that whatever I'm saying is more relevant just based on my word alone.

If that doesn't parse, this isn't the only time we've 'almost argued' over communicating facts to each other, and I'm just so not interested in it.

Power nap time.

The logistical problems still don't really add up to me. Just kill the lesser undead and Teleport the bodies to Lys. Our little Leshy will ber overjoyed when we give them a ton or two of bloated, rotting cadavers.

Sure, but at the same time can you give me a yea or nay for more Leaf Leshys along with how many you want? If they're as inexpensive as I believe they are then I'd like a lot.

This is actually a pretty clever solution to get the Leshy human corpses without massive PR problems. "Obviously" Zombies and other restless dead can't just be stuffed back into a grave...so taking them away for "proper disposal" sounds perfectly reasonable.

It's not even a lie since I'm pretty certain there are various types of creatures and undead that spawn out of mass-graves used to dispose of minor undead.

Wasn't for example an Alraune growing like that?

[x] Accept Bulabar migration (adds 3d12 bulabar)
-[x] Offer material aid to the ritual (Cost 3500 Gold)

Now have Garin put together an invasion intelligence trip. These questions for starters.

This...was Garin's invasion intelligence trip. I assume he got more info than just where the cult was, since he spent ten days there. Plenty of time to look around for publicly available information, and spend time in bars asking questions about local notables.

Yes. He can point you at the leaders of the city and some of the second string cultists that's just not very exciting to see on page so it will be included in the actual attack instead of recounting a laundry list of details now.

Iron Golems are on the front page.

Well, the demon cult is useful to know about, a source of sacrifices for the tree and an excuse for another couple of purges, but it's hardly material to the preparations we need to make this month.

It's actually pretty critical. It's where the heavy hitting opposition will come from, and the fact that it's in the catacombs is crucial information, since it means attacks on that front can appear anywhere in the city.

BTW, y'all, Menel didn't go for the option to be placed in a new body, IIRC. He instead chose directed Reincarnation, so his disposition isn't related to Amrelath at all.

Speaking of turtles, we should swoop by the river Rhoyne and pick up a few turtles. Would probably make a good gift to the Greenblood.

We could even see if they want us to awaken them.

Also, @DragonParadox

  1. Would Maelor have a bonus towards awakening sorcerers and adding the* Shadow bloodline in the tower?
  2. Can we reincarnate creatures with an INT score lesser than 3?

Yes.
Sorry, no RNG warbeasts.

Vote closed.

@Everyone we should indeed put Maelor on Scholarium Sorcerer Duty.

Also, offer Reincarnation (LW) humanoid for fealty. I sure would swear fealty to the king who could turn me into an elf or orc... This should also help boost magically inclined population. Seeing as Menel will pretty much let the cat out of the bag when people divine where the magical humanoid braavosi came from.
