I'm lost... what mage's hand did we cut off? For the life of me I can't remember. Overall the regulars try not to leave people alive if we fight them.

Tor's apprentices who were maimed due to our rushing things a bit. One lost their hand entirely. Fixing that is probably something we want to do promptly.

He means Tors "apprentice".

Ah, that one. Completely forgot about her for a moment. Yeah, healing her is super convenient for us.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. Just like with Arcane magic, 7th level is when the Divine spells start to get really good.

Lesser Create Demiplane

Plundered Power

Destruction

Brain Spider

Etc.

Malarys just became much more useful.
The delicious part is that he got this strong from killing his fellow Sleepers. :D

I want Dany to also get access to level 7 spells, to keep a better handle on Malarys, so I still prefer deferring advancement in her prestige class.

Of course... gotta make sure the two big mambajambas (Viserys and Dany) match Malarys circle for circle at the very least.

Lesser Create Demiplane
Not really seeing much appeal, except maybe as temporary storage space when our BoH is full. Too expensive to do that much with.

Neat.

Very nice, especially that it deals 10d6 Untyped Damage even on a save.

...
...

We need a bunch of Quasists or Imps. Right now.

So back to the vote, I think part of what Azel said is correct, we should continue to do as we always have and just act like courtesies are tossed aside for the sake of informality and apparent closeness (or at least act as such since few Lords would willingly grant us honorifics that weren't carefully selected, either to provoke us, honor us without committing, or merely out of bemusement at our peculiar situation where we can't quite be discounted but, well, we do not sit on the Iron Throne after all).

And the help we should offer should not run into the same missteps we already have trying to do the same by this point. Offering to go swoop in and solve any of their problems, even supernatural ones, without even paying token respect to their position as protector of their people, is an amateur mistake Viserys will not make again.

1) Touch lightly on some of the situations we've helped with, the Deep Ones in Crackclaw Point, the fiends in the Stormlands, the Night's Watch and the spirits and other nasties lurking to the cold north, the aide we've lended the NW (though not trying to rub in the fact that we've poured a fortune on the institution while the Usurper drinks and whores in the capital, that's going on too thick). Then we mention we've heard the roads growing more dangerous to walk for trade or travel, that people are hoarding magic and not helping each other, much less the common folk who suffer the most without such auspices as a powerful mage to protect them. Maybe bordering on too thick.
2) Then we poke about some of the supernatural problems they might have been dealing with, stuff that a Lord is hesitant to take on with his own resources alone, anything he might have considered sending for help from the Crown to deal with.
3) Then we analyze the threats, offer up all the knowledge, access to means, or even means themselves to dealing with it. Then we make a flat offer that no one should have to deal with the chaos of a new age by themselves, and that his Son and friends would be happy to deal with any immediate threats, depending on what they are. Don't want to commit out of hand.

This hits all the right notes I think. Balances eagerness to prove ourselves with results by other means, and all while empowering the Royces to look after their own and see the virtue in following us.

It costs 500 Gold (2500 gp) in material components and is not permanent, but yes that is a pretty powerful spell. It's thematic for the Valyrians so it would make sense for Malarys to have it even though its pathfinder though.
You know, Efreet have Wish as a 1/day SLA, though the ability specifically notes that he can grant up to 3 Wishes with that casting, but only to non-genies.

Would you be terribly cross with us if we turn the Bey of Beggars into a few free Wishes? :ogles:

We have access to that through Summoner list (via Blood Wish).

It is highly impressive.

Would probably end with all of them being twisted.

I would not be but such an action, much like trapping a genie for fun and profit will make all the nations of genie-kind see you with, at best, profound suspicion.

Spend the first one to Wish the bloodstone to fulfill all subsequent Wishes in accordance with both the letter and the spirit of the Wish.

It's noted that the stone makes the choices, so it's the only thing that could twist the Wish, which is a bit dubious in the first place.

Furthermore, isn't careful Wish wording a basic D&D skill?

I'm glad you see the light on Plundered Power, but you are seriously underestimating Create Lesser Demiplane. It only requires a 500 gold (100 IM) Focus, which is reusable, has a 2 hour casting time, and lasts 13 DAYS at 13th level, while creating a demiplane with up to 3,900 square feet of floor space (39 10-foot cubes, arranged as Malarys desires). We should start using one of these prior to any trip off Plane where we expect to run into a powerful enemy who can potentially trace our previous Plane, or the Plane we traveled to when leaving. They can also be an excellent neutral meeting ground, rather than bringing someone to SD or the Shadow Tower, or even to Planetos.

Making it permanent would be expensive, at 3,500 IM, but might be worth considering later as a bolthole of last resort.

Plane Shift's terrible accuracy wouldn't be an issue when traveling to it, either.

Too stubborn to be sensed. Too stubborn to be killed. Too stubborn to not figure how to kill you.

Truly Richard is the best sworn shield.
