[X] Plan Everything
-[X] Teleport to Sorcerer's Deep to retrieve Vee, Lya, Tyene, and Mercy, if they are available, and as many Calligraphy Wyrms as are available to assist with copying in the library.
-[X] Copy and repair texts from the vaults, using all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level spell slots to cast Amanuensis.
-[X] Offer healing to the Black Brothers, with Mercy doing most of the regular healing and Vee or Tyene handling the tougher cases.
-[X] Ask Maester Aemon of the troubles of the Night's Watch while the spells are being cast and the healing performed.

We should set up a sort of royal stipend or somthing for the Watch once we retake the iron throne, to both maintain them and bind them to us. I don't like how much independence they have, especially since we are powering them up with so much stuff, not having walls towards the south isn't going to give much insurance once magic is involved.

That's what Boneshaker is for?
She can tune down the CL if she doesn't want to kill.

That's still a discipline problem for Mormont. Even if she is unhurt, those men need to be punished for disobedience (potentially a hanging), etc. Ideally they never make the attempt at all. My concern isn't for the arcanum, it's with causing headaches for Mormont that we can avoid by having a threat even idiots instinctually understand (burly guys with pointy weapons) present.

@Goldfish, right now on day 23 of the turn schedule, Vee is in the middle of teaching Lya the Reincarnation spell. If we're bringing Vee for healing and teleportation, we may as well bring Lya so she can both get the teleport point and help ferry the Children of the Forest back to Sorcerer's Deep. Once that's done she can go back to learning the spell for the day.

That's what the "if they are available" part of the plan is. Tyene alone should be plenty adequate for the healing, especially with help from Mercy.

For the "if they are available" part you may as well just include Lya there, because we will need Vee to help with teleporting, and without Vee in SD Lya's stuck doing nothing so she may as well just tag along.

She's busy learning spells right now. Mainly Reincarnate, and then Permanency tomorrow. And after that she's spending the rest of the month building the Smelter.

She can teleport over to get Castle Black as a teleport spot, but it would have to be very brief.
Once she's learned Reincarnate we should offer Aemon the use of it, even if we can't make him a dragon I want him young again, although we should try and awaken him as a sorcerer first, I'm not sure if he would still have the potential to become a sorcerer post reincarnation, but I don't think he would lose the class from reincarnating.

I prefer to bring the world in a state where "lady with glowy eyes and swirling hair" is enough of a warning sign.

If it takes a bit of headaches and some dead Jonny Auranes, that's a price I'm perfectly willing to pay.

No destroying the Lyre before Legion Central in Westhaven is done, please.

Aaah... the wonders of teleport. How the heck did we survive without it?

I'd normally agree, but the type of people who are sent to the wall self-select for more Aurane-ness than a typical population, and the thing Mormont can spare the least is warm bodies.

Viserys barely traveled before then, so...by not traveling much? It's done wonders for exploring the world.

You are aware that the net-negative worker is a thing, right?
Yeah but the type of idiot who would dare to try to do something to an Arcanum, isn't necessarily a net negative worker on the wall, normally there's no women for them to try to do something to, so they can be useful, and as long as you make sure to keep them far from women, there's no problem.

And the Wall can't afford to lose them no matter how stupid they are, if they actually do work.

I feel we should offer Ser Allister a few words, he may be an ass, but he is a loyal ass dammit.
As for looting mormont, a lot depends on how the long night goes, their oath may become fulfilled after It, and then they are all free game. Also, he can become our man soon, we just cant move him.

@Goldfish, seriously, just include Lya in there at the very least so she can get the teleport spot.

EDIT: I don't understand why I have to push for this at all. More teleport spots are always useful, and this wouldn't take time out of her work. If Vee ends up coming, it only makes sense that Lya comes too. If Vee's not there teaching Reincarnation to Lya, then Lya's just sitting in SD doing nothing for a few hours.
