-[X] Ask of news of what they've seen, and use that as a segue into informing them what their true enemy to the north is.
For this one maybe just ask for generalized rumors that they've heard so that DP can save that for the promised rumor post update.
-[X] Offer to use magic to copy their oldest and most valuable texts into new books, in exchange for Maester Aemon spending more time searching for lore or records, you should be able to manage a few in the time you have.
In this one straight-up ask permission to copy their entire library for ourselves in exchange for help in replacing the older tomes for newer versions. This is what we always intended to do, and we shouldn't skirt around that. And more than that, it's a completely fair deal. The Night's Watch should be happy to allow us to do this.

I want to send her to the Manticore Isles and the Isles of Elephants to get us some exotic specimens (mainly to keep her occupied if there's ever a time we just want her to do nothing).
Just wanted to point out that asoiaf mantacores have the size and general appearance of scorpions and that we could probably outright purchase elephants in Volantis.

Looting Aemon is right out in my opinion, but how about offering them to discreetly letting some of their stewards learn int he Scholarium? They have a similar deal with Old Town to get their Maesters after all.

Political minefield, so I wouldn't get my hopes up, but Mormont might go for it. Aemon would be a great person to lead that delegation.

As an aside, I'm a bit disappointed that Benjen is out and about. I wanted to talk to him. It might work out for the best though, if his opinion improves due to the sudden shipment of steel before we talk to him.

The news bit is less rumors, and more of a general status request so we know how much they know (they seemed to have some knowledge of magic and undead things), so we're not explaining things they already know.

I'm not sure we have time to copy their entire library right this second. I was limiting it to what we planned on sending to them in the next month or two, or what we could accomplish personally in the next day or so as we transport people home.

Can we ask for rumors anyway? Doesn't exactly hurt us to spend a couple minutes discussing world events.

I'm fine with not getting everything right now. The important thing for me is that we ask permission right now to eventually copy the entire library for ourselves, and that the Lord Commander unambiguously gives us that permission. Then we can do this over several visits until we've got the entire library.

Btw, where's the full description of the shadow of the wall?

Can we teleport from Castle Black/Eastwatch or do we have to ride south first?

Fortunately Bloodraven proves less cryptic about matters pertaining to your journey North, likely because that is something he has planned. You learn that a great sorcery lies over the lands North of the Wall onto the very snows of Ever-Winter that stymies all but the simplest magics of translocation. The notion of such a grand working sends you reeling, and for just a moment you feel very small indeed.

Beyond the Wall local trait discovered: Builder's Anchor: No teleportation spell with a range longer than dimension door functions unless it has a caster level of 21 or above

It's just beyond The Wall so we can teleport in and out of Castle Black.

I'm still wanting to go a scenic ride on top of The Wall to get to Eastwatch though. Just so we can say that we rode atop a wall higher than Volantis'.

[X] Thank Lord Commander Mormont, see your party settled, leave Ser Richard with Rhaella, invite the LC and his maester to the Kings Tower as he likely has many questions, and we then have a lot of business to discuss. Might as well make ourselves comfortable.
-[X] Introduce Soft Strider to the Lord Commander.
-[X] Ask of news of what they've seen, and use that as a segue into informing them what their true enemy to the north is.
-[X] Offer support of money, supplies, armor, and weapons to the watch, as well as perhaps recruits, though there are admittedly very few you could send.
--[X] You'll come to their aid as best you are able in case of a concerted assault, but the wall wont protect anyone if the watchers on the wall wither on the vine before then.
--[X] Ask for a list of what is most pressing, and what sorts of arms/armor would be most useful to them, and bring up their enemy's weakness to dragonglass and dragonsteel. The former we could supply much of.
-[X] Their enemy can make warriors of corpses, so you will be doing your best to remove the free folk to Essos, both to remove them from the future ranks of the true enemy to the north, and to not ask those who have suffered their raids for generations to now live in peace aside the self-same raiders.
-[X] Some of your companions can use magic to heal, both injuries and disease, though regrowing lost limbs is not so easy. Offer to do what you can who any who have need of it and are willing.
-[X] Offer to use magic to copy their oldest and most valuable texts into new books, in exchange for Maester Aemon spending more time searching for lore or records of the others, you should be able to manage a few in the time you have.
--[X] If he'd permit you to make additional copies for yourself, you'd probably find time to replace his entire library.
--[X] The map you had been given at Eastwatch has been improved while you were north of the wall, offer to make some copies (via dragonpen once you've regained your privacy, minus the information we wish to leave out).
-[X] Ask if the Lord Commander has any specific questions or requests of you.
-[X] If there are a handful of brothers who are particularly clever, or have discovered small gifts of magic within themselves, and are trustworthy, you'd be willing to train them in your scholarium, similarly to how a brother might be sent to be trained at the Citadel.
-[X] Finally, ask if you might be allowed to speak to Maester Aemon alone for a time.

How's this look? Am I missing anything?

More suggestions have been folded in.

I sincerely doubt Mormont would be stupid enough to send anyone else.

Would be quite funny if he sends Benjen. :D
I definitely wouldn't mind training Benjen. That man screams PC, I aim to see him properly equipped as soon as we can manage.
Why is there doubt over copying the library?

Viserys alone has 51 castings = 6630 minutes and a total of 1,657,500 words copied perfectly.

That's roughly the entire Lord of the Rings, Atlas Shrugged and War and Peace combined.
Basically this. There's no reason we won't be able to copy the entire library over the course of a few days.

We have the spells, we have one or two days of negotiating, we have dragonpens, and we can easily buy empty books in Sorcerer's Deep.

I don't think we need to bring this up now.

Our pact with the bear is to get the Wildlings away from beyond The Wall when the time comes. Just tell them that we would know when that time comes up and we'll be responsible on how to deal with it.

I expect they would have followup questions if we left it there though ..

The bottleneck isn't castings, it's time. Viserys only has 22 hours in the day, so he can only copy 316,800 words a day, unless I'm misunderstanding the spell. It also doesn't copy illustrations, some of which might be important and we would need our dragonpen friend to take care of it (who would be much slower).

"Target: Object or objects with writing"

He could cause 51 seperate books to copy 32,500 words over the course of 130 minutes.

"Blank paper, parchment, or a book must be provided for the spell to write upon. If the target has multiple pages, the spell automatically turns to the next blank page whenever necessary. If more pages in the target exist than blank pages are available, the spell copies the original until it runs out of
blank pages. At any time during the spell's duration you can redirect the magic to copy from another target, copy onto a different blank source, or resume a duplication that was interrupted by a shortfall of blank pages."

Redirect the effect if necessary and pick up where we left off if one caring wasn't enough for a particular work which would have to be roughly the size of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe to cause that problem.

It's very much a non-issue.

Edit: Fair enough point on the Illustrations but I think Dragonpens would be more than up to it, if Illustration is a difficulty for the Sorcerer King it's even more so for a mundane scribe, illustration will be a rare occurrence fortunately or unfortunately depending on the perspective.

Why not just make like 10 more pens? We're going to want a copy of every library we take anyway. We might as well have a bunch of extra scribes.
