Not to mention that we can probably rebuild the village with a couple days worth of Stone Shape, if Lya and Dany pour all their spells into it.

Also Make Whole
Pretty much.

That's the other side of the Royal Fleet discussion we had last week. The Illithids just brought their A game and all they managed is inconsequential damage to easily replaced assets.

After this I want to invest time in finding their lair. We just murdered their Ulitharid. They have never been more vulnerable than now.

Think of the loot!

Should we still try and search for the base that the Deep Ones came from?

Like use talk with the dead on the new head we just got and get said information out of it so we can strike it or at least tell the Triton about it later?

Speaking of talking with dead shouldn't we do so on the Listener, assuming we took his head awhile ago?

On the matter of XP, I would greatly prefer if all of it is split evenly. Better to have Viserys not level after this then to have another no-level time imposed.

On the other hand, one more person we can teleport along...

By the way, did we successfully kill the Ghorazagh? We left it in a very bad state when we flew to the village (thank you Unluck) and hopefully our party managed to finish it off, but I'll be very annoyed if it ended up escaping despite all that.

Vee and Lya leveling up means that they get their own Teleports!

Also Vee should have Dimension Door as part of her spells known list.

Unluck is a lengthy Alter Fortune to make you roll worse. It literally increases your chances to crit fail from 1 out of 20 to 1 out of 10.

And after that, try to survive a couple turns with all Hasted Melees going after you.

Don't forget Lya and Tyene shooting you with further debuffs you need to save against twice.

Hell no, next level is really good for Viserys.

He allmost soloed the Ullitharid. If the Nightmare dragon did it, the much higher CR Ullitharid will, besides Ether Swimmer and also contributing to the fight vs Beetle Thing.

Next level we get two level 5 spells, one level 4 spell and one level 3 spell known.

We also get good maneuverability on half dragon, and more importantly, Fly-By-Attack.

Aka, burn everything with impunity.

Magic doesn't exactly follow real world physics. Every single cubic centimeter, from the epicenter to the edges, deals 10d6 fire damage. It doesn't lose strenght when propagating, that's where it cheats.

Set it detonate inside the wave, and suddenly you've deleted a 20ft sphere radius of water from it.

A 15d6 explosion caused the small tsunami to form,

Okay, that's cool, but now we have to be extremely careful not to use Fireballs or Firebrands underwater, because doing so might unleash titanic explosions of flash-steamed sea water. They would make a great weapon against harbor-based assets, though; ships, docks, port cities, etc could be wiped out by ready made tsunamis. We'll just need to be careful not to annihilate ourselves in the process.

Normal fireballs would not do that.

Alright. I'm sold.

Any idea for those spells?
Scry would be nice to go along with the compass.
Nah, Dany can (unsurprisingly) Scry.

Fourth level one should be Air of Nobility.

Third level there is Greater Mage Armour, Heart of Water, many interesting ones.

Fifth level we could pick Wall of Stone and Cloudkill, for a classic combo, tho I'm tempted to pick more fourth level ones, like Ruin Delver's Fortune and Enervation and Solid Fog.

2nd: Quick Potion
3rd: Heart of Water
4th: Heart of Earth
5th: Draconic Might

And before one person says, "oh, but we can get those spells in item form", please keep in mind that we haven't, and not a single one of them is on the very lengthy, and quite detailed lists of items we plan to purchase and/or enchant for the party.

Cloudkill would be quite effective with all the low-level mooks running around.

Draconic Might looks rather tasty. Especially given our war-form.

What does Air of Nobility do?

Air of Nobility is level 3.

Can we also retrain some spells? Replacing Color Spray with True Casting or Hoard Gullet would be nice.

+10 Circumstance bonus to Diplomacy, Intimidate, and Sense Motive, which means it stacks with VoTD and Divine Insight.

Wall of Stone would be quite nice for non-combat applications. Give us a few days and we have a serviceable guard tower set up.
