So, how about if we give Argo (the sane minotaur) one of the VS great axes and some armor? He seems competent enough to be made captain.

Seemed like it might be a good time to wrangle more boons from him, when he's drowsy and distracted.
I'm still hoping 'rebirth' means he can learn new tricks, like 'fair trade'. It would be so convenient to have a god with whom you can trade and where you get what you bargained for.

That is a lot of wealth to entrust to a mentally handicapped rage-monster, even a partially reformed, cowbro like Argo. What if we start him off with regular armor and an axe and see how he does first?

He already has the axe, and armor is almost not expensive. What I want it to make it fearsome. Parading him around with VS weaponry is bound to make people take him seriously.

It's been our longstanding goal to make him a god of Capitalism, we did nudge him into that direction by badgering about money and the QA session after we fed him the devil seemed to imply that his core nature is fixed, but tgat he can change.

So the odds seem good.

I'm hoping to eventually equip every single one of our minotaurs with +1 weapons and armor.

That was some fantastic loot we got from Lamentation.

I like this plan a lot. Plus we'll need to split them from only following Ser Richard anyway cause he's our guard not our general. And yes I realize he does both but he can't do both in the field so he eventually needs to stop being our master of arms Sorcerer's Deep.

While we need the VS for ourselves right now, once we come back from Valyria with a few tons of the stuff, I'm all for giving the minotaurs some nice +2 weapons.

Ask the Iron Bank to lend us one of their upper tier administrators, use him to explain how commerce works. Because being able to bank boons (==goodwill) and get interest or being able to get into default would be a nice feature.

Also, if we don't like the Gorgon option for Richard, we can always have the Steel Bull form part of our Bull Guard...
That was what I was thinking too. The Gorgon is a default mount for Ser Richard now, but in the future if he gets something better it can be passed down to the Minotaur commanders.

Such lovely symbolism. Bulls everywhere. XD

I'm just seeing it - on the one side the traditional battle line, pike/spears and archers, some cavallery on the flanks, on the other Viserys, two woman and fifty Minotaurs in heavy armor.
Then the two woman start mumbling, Viserys changes into a large scaled and winged monster, blinks from sight, and a minute later the cavallery is introduced to dragon breath ...
No, then Viserys teleports next to the enemy leader, with him to a safe place and they talk about surrender-conditions before a single strike fell.

"We've made a god of Capitalism. Want to teach him some advanced banking and get his patronage?"

Indeed. Nobody is going to surrender to our plucky band of misfits until we have few charred fields of bones speaking in our favour.

Random thought but do people think it might be a good idea to add Yss to Isle of a Thousand Gods in Braavos later?

He is a really old and lost god after all, and isn't the whole point of the isle to remember all gods?
