We really need to take advantage of our exclusive access to Molten Skies and have Leila craft low-value but useful magic items, then sell them for an absurd profit.
Remember how everyone in Braavos wanted to get their hands on Amulets of Protection? There's definitely potential there. Now we can craft them cheaper and sell them for slightly less than we'd normally ask. People will bite.
Every noble ever would want them.Just think about how much we could sells Rings of Prestidigitation for? The spell does so many useful things that otherwise require time consuming labor or are otherwise impossible without special ingredients or magic
I think we can make them for 90 IM using Molten Skies prices, but we could easily mark the price up to 900+ IM for something that would make every spoiled Noble feel a bit like a mage.
Calm emotions amulets. Something to ask DP about. And bloodrage control training.
Viserys and weapons:
Amulet of Mighty Fists or
Necklace of Natural Weapons: The enhancement bonuses on this necklace are applied to attack and damage rolls involving one or more of the wearer's natural weapons. In addition, any weapon special quality may be applied to this necklace, and the quality then applies to those natural weapons as well. For instance, a +1 throwing returning necklace of natural weapons would apply its enhancement bonus and the throwing and returning special abilities to one or more of the wearer's natural weapons.
Caster Level: 3rd; Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, Craft Magic Arms and Armor; Market Price: 600 gp, plus the cost of the enhancement bonuses, multiplied by the number of natural weapons affected. A +1 necklace of natural weapons that affects one natural weapon costs 2,600 gp; if the same necklace affects six natural weapons, it costs 15,600 gp. Weight:/
"Hello again Land-dwellers! we bring pearls, sunken relics and exotic treasures of the deep. as is customary among your people we also brought a priest to seal the deal, please choose at your convenience"@Azel , you are missing trade with the Tritons. They can grab lots of exotic food and pearls, and craft magic stuff, while we sell them luxuries, or, wait for it, obsidian tools and weapons, which we can craft for no cost because Molten Skies is literally made from it, and they don't rust underwater, so they are a cheaper version of Pearlsteel that we can mass produce.
Wouldn't opening it underwater completely flood our demiplane? You know we should be able to use the Shadow Tower even underwater, water breathing for day trade, sleep in the Tower. Could make it a full on expedition that nobody else could match and this guarantees us as the most strongly aligned air breather.
depending on how the shadow portal works, this risks flooding the tower. You know we should be able to use the Shadow Tower even underwater, water breathing for day trade, sleep in the Tower. Sure we can, we just need to use a cantrip to make some light. So, the shadow portal entrance thing explicitly only covers people/individuals ('those who step' and so on), so we probably wouldn't flood our tower.
The plinth, however, would probably sink in water. And hit the bottom of the ocean. From where we would have to drag it back up.
Also, if we go far enough down that there is no light, there are no shadows either, and so we can't enter the tower.

it also sends everyone already under the shadow, water may come through, even if only when people are transported. So, the shadow portal entrance thing explicitly only covers people/individuals ('those who step' and so on), so we probably wouldn't flood our tower.

Then we have two ships. One goes to Pentos briefly to establish a teleporting relay back to Braavos. We send the ship back home then teleport to Braavos to speak with the Fairwinds and establish our licorice trade. Then we teleport home. Shouldn't take more than a week of sailing, and after that no more than a few days of negotiations.
It specifically only says 'those', which implies people. I suppose it's possible DragonParadox simply didn't clarify that, but it doesn't read that way.it also sends everyone already under the shadow, water may come through, even if only when people are transported.
I was actually planning to do exactly that. When we're ready we teleport to Pentos and scare the living shit out of Illyrio as revenge for sending thugs after us, and then we conveniently find out he's a Blackfyre supporter.Speaking of Pentos, weren't we planning on paying a visit to our friendly neighborhood cheesemonger? With Tiamat on the prowl for Blackfyres, I can almost taste the fAegon shenanigans.
Thats how i expect It to work, but It also transports the clothes and ítems of people using It, and It doesnt specify that either, so we should be prepared for the worst case unless we get clarification.Gained Shadow Tower
Description: This ancient Dragonstone tower rests now in its own sundered shadow, a small world onto itself, from the jagged tip to the lowest depths where once the Whispering Gate stood. Warded by potent magics and containing many secrets the tower is a treasure trove of lost history.
Ability: The tower can be entered by speaking the correct command words before the smooth unblemished man-high plinth of dragonstone that serves as its key. It can only be activated when the plinth rests on solid ground. On activation arcane symbols race across the stone and a shadow as long as the tower would cast were it to stand upon that place stretches out from the pillar. Those who step (or are covered) by this shadow are instantly transported to the Under-hall of the Shadow Tower to an identical plinth. To leave one has merely to speak the command word again. The gates of the tower lead nowhere but to a cold unformed void.
Exact description. Doesn't seem to have an always on shadow, and the way the door works is that the activation word essentially causes a shadow of equivalent tower size to appear... but since the tower wouldn't cast any shadow without light it straight up might not work.
