OK vote closed and Character sheet updated. Once again you rolled max for HP. Not that that means very much for a sorcerer but hey at least you will no longer die from one solid hit from most martial weapons.
once again? I should note on p23 of the PHB of v3.5 it mentions that on level 1 a player character gets max hitpoints on their first HD rather than rolling. Although supposedly that part is not covered under the OGL so it isn't mentioned in the SRD

Not that it mattered to us since we rolled max, and of course you could houserule it, but just so you know here it is. (unless you are willing to let us shift that now unnecessary max roll for next levelup?)

As you wake from the... vision, the Dragon Dream, you had the night before you can feel that the power of your magic and the depth of your reserves have both grown, also another set of words and gestures now float in your mind ready to be used, for moving things this time.
It should be detect poison not mage hand

Given the place we're staying at and the company we keep, I don't think we can avoid Dany learning some swear words no matter what we do. And the card shark is like the least trustworthy person out of them all when it comes to defending our sister, which is saying something.

Why not, you are so very squishy after all.

Oops fixed on the sheet and the post both

will the tavern keeper teach her skills? or just swearing?
hmmm, maybe diplomacy? and as a thug, maybe fighting?

Maybe diplomacy but he has the lowest odds of teaching her anything because he is so busy.

[X] Have Merin watch over Dany (5 Silver Moons for three months)

What can I say? I like the idea of a foul-mouthed Dany cursing a blue streak while her brother wonders where he went wrong.

Part XIII: The Crownless King, the Hidden Crown
The Crownless King, the Hidden Crown

Twenty-third Day of the Ninth Month 289 AC

Once again you are awake at an hour far later than is the norm for respectable folk. But then Corlys Waters long term tenant of the One Eyed Rat is no more a respectable person than any other that calls that place home. Wistfully you recall Ser Darry's admonitions that staying up long past dark will stunt your growth by depriving you of needed sleep. As you look upon the moonlit vista of Bravos, Bastard of Valyria seeing as well as you would as midday you realize you have grown. You have grown into calling the shadows home for better or for worse.

The thing you carry now, the Crown of the last Queen-consort of Westeros and of the King-in-Exile of that realm, does not however belong in this shadowy world, nor does it really belong to Corlys Waters. So with a heavy heart you prepare to part from it. It feels like you are abandoning a trust more precious than gems or gold, your mother's trust and yet you must do this for fate has entrusted you with a charge for your life and thelife of your sister also . Gold can be re-shaped, gems replaced but lives are treasures beyond price for there are none to return them once lost.

After having traveled well away from Drowned Town switching three disguises to confuse your trail and to lose any trace you finally extract the crown from the sack you are carrying. You whisper words of binding and sealing that you know are the building blocks of larger and more complex rituals which still beyond you. A mark appears upon the cool metal of the crown visible to your eyes only, fiery script that writhes and dances, set against inky darkness, Your mark binding the crown to you that your magic may seek it should it be lost.

Now that the task is done where will you hide the crown:

[] Bury it under a loose paving stone of a ruined mansion belonging to a noble family fallen on hard times. Mark the spot with an Arcane Mark.
[] Deposit it with the Iron Bank under an assumed name and seeming.
[] Deposit it with the Iron Bank as Viserys Targaryen.
[] Write in

OOC: There are no trees in Bravos save in the gardens of the mighty so burying it under a tree is not possible.

No problem

What do we know about the iron bank in character?

The bank as a whole has no interests in the affairs of Westeros except maybe with regards to any debt that crown may have (OOC is has a lot). That said individual Keyholders (descendants of the bank's founders) and other newer controlling interests can have all sorts of partizan interests.
You do know the bank has a reputation for fair if harsh dealings in general.
