So, one spell of the Eight Circle and one spell of the Ninth Circle?
And as a True Red we also get to pick out any neat Cleric spells we feel like having.

Twenty-Second Day of the Ninth Month 294 AC
As frustrating as it is to have to pay twice over for a failure, once in time and once in coin, the latter is very much the lesser cost and better that than to lose goodwill you might have gained in hiring the seers in gold. As for what to do with those who are at the root of that failure, well there are as many suggestions as there are people to make it. Malarys suggests demotion, Garin that they be made to pay a cut of their salaries to the state until the debt they have incurred is paid, which is effectively for the rest of their lives given the scope of the final sum. Dany even brings up asking Glyra which is bound to be entertaining, but you would not be so sure about the usefulness of it.
In the end you leave it off as a meeting with some of the most senior fey in your service to both decide what is to be done about the clerks who had been too eager to take the bargains of troupe and court, and how those bargains could be rendered down to something the tax code can bear.
"I think Glyra is going to hang from the ceiling the whole time as she japes and jabs," your sister offers.
"As long as she does so on point," you snort, more amused than annoyed. Moonsong will likely be one to call on this too. She manages to somehow function in a military hierarchy, after all.
The clock on your desk chimes soft but insistent. Everyone here knows what that marks.
"Good night... or is that good afternoon?" Garin jests, glancing outside.
"Well then, isn't is curious that you are awake," you rejoinder with a roll of your eyes. It is good to be able to joke about that now. It has been a long time and a long way from Braavos.

As you fall face first to meet the sheets, the exhaustion of the day catching up with you as it usually does, all at once like a curtain falling, you realize the dream is different. Brighter than flame and deeper than chasms and vaster than the sky. You can feel the breath going into your lungs still, in and out, and out and out, spiraling ever wider. It had been a long while since you took these paths, yet you recall them still, it seems that the nearness of death had taught you something worth remembering and the dream remembers in turn.
Mighty have you grown and wise in the lore of things that were and things that are, but not so strong nor yet so clever that you are beyond learning more from Those Who Have Come Before. The insect-like mask of the sorcerer of dead flame flashes before your mind's eye. Next time you meet you will be more prepared to make his final end. Will and desire lift you up like wind under your wings, and thus you seek and thus you find the secret knowledge that is to the soul as kindling to the flame.

OOC: Keep in mind you guys can also freely switch feats if you want. Sorry that this is so short, but it is the nature of the vote. Not yet edited.
AMF is a 6th level Sorcerer/Wizard spell, so there's no need to learn it as an 8th level Cleric spell. And as for using a Mythic version of it, we can already do that by casting Mythic Blood Wish and spending another use of Mythic power. That's costly in terms of resources, but good enough for me considering how rarely the spell would ever be needed. And as a True Red we also get to pick out any neat Cleric spells we feel like having.
🤔
We can use Wild Arcana to duplicate any arcane or divine (thanks to being a True Red) spell at full power, so we're really shopping around for what would be the best mythic spell. I vaguely recall @Goldfish had something he was eyeing earlier.
EDIT: Antimagic Field as Cleric 8 is looking super tempting if we manage to make it Mythic as well.
Yeah, I figured that a few seconds after I posted the question. I was actually going to delete the post, but got sidetracked trying to track down other useful spells.@Goldfish, even if DP for some reason changed his mind, I'd veto that spell having the ability to bypass a wardstone.
I'd still strongly suggest Ascension, as it is a very valuable buff for any potential member of a team that has no Mythic rank of their own yet.Yeah, I figured that a few seconds after I posted the question. That too. Fluff-wise, it's made for him.I like Ascension a lot. IMO fluff-wise it could neatly fit into the "Viserys starts learning to grant spells/power" thing, and would therefore be a very good fit for our level up.
Can we create/buy a thanatopic wand for ViserysHere is what I have for Viserys' level up so far.
Retraining Merciful Spell to Invisible Spell for an increase in usability. Merciful Spell can only be applied to damaging spells, while Invisible Spell can be used on many more. We have Metamagic Rods for both of these, but we need one to get maximum use out of Arcane Spellsurge. Also, I really like the idea of Viserys making many of his spell effects Invisible by default. He already casts everything Silent and Still by default, so being able to make shit happen without any visual effects leans into the whole "reality is my bitch" angle.
This drops Resilient Sphere from our line-up, but the spell hasn't been useful for a long, long time now. We have better options using Blood Wish, Miracle, and Wild Arcana, such as Brilliant Barrier and Telekinetic Sphere, the latter of the two being a significantly upgraded Resilient Sphere.
Greater Arcane Fusion is a great spell that will let us more easily abuse the action economy. Being able to cast two spells for the price of one, especially the time of one, is a really powerful option.
I know Chain Dispel isn't the most exciting option for an 8th level spell, but it is by far the most duplicated spell for us using Wild Arcana and Mircale. Being able to cast it without expending higher level resources is a solid choice, IMO. Learning it now also makes the Mythic version available next time we get a Mythic rank, and that is very powerful. Adding our Mythic Tier to the Dispel check is just mean.
I'm not excited about Ascension as a 9th level spell, but it is thematically appropriate for Viserys' character. The snip
