Seeing all those ward stones almost makes me feel bad for the efreeti commander. I wouldn't be surprised if a good portion of the command staff vanished shortly after we did to avoid getting minted for "letting" a dragon walk off with so much stuff.

Especially since for us specifically this wasn't just a theft of material, it was the key to start modernizing our military to planar standards.
If they have any sense and the means to do so, anyone staffing that fortress was probably only about five minutes behind us in fleeing the place.

Heads are gonna roll and souls are gonna be ground up in the mills.

I've updated the preliminary distribution of the ward stones. Only one large set hasn't been distributed yet.

@Goldfish The next most important economic hub is Qarth, which is incidentally bordered by the nearest BBEG.

Though if not for that, I wouldn't consider Yi Ti threatening enough to warrant it.

I've finalized my distribution plan for the ward stones, with one of the Medium sets plus a 20 kilometer Boundary Stone kept in reserve for now. I'm open to suggestions, plus this is hardly a permanent assignment. We can shuffle them around further as needed, plus we're going to be reverse engineering them ASAP for in-house production.

What better way to start the day other than look through the massive LOOT

Goldfish should we also start buliding turrets and defense emplacements along with the wards

Im worried the sultan might send some of his skilled champions or ships to retrieve the stones

Should we detail a standard defense plan for the ward stones themselves before deploying them?
- grow weirwood mounts and pay the OG to smite unauthorized users.

- Layered permanent Hand of the Faithful fields to make constant saves against being stunned while in secure areas of the facility.

- Strategically placed Divine Interdiction fields to mess with the ability of any divine magic users. The efreeti may be particularly vulnerable to this, depending on how far align the brass bastard is towards divinity.

- Master's Perfect Golden Bell style items for the checkpoints and key defenses.

- Foxfire Lantern arrays so that we can validate that people aren't polymorphed.

- Form Validation to steal that efreeti elevator.

-Mirror Sight based security rooms attuned to the wards and innocuous reflective surfaces all across the base to use them with.

- Insignia of Alarm based alert items to make it easy to sound the alarm in a particular base.

-Legion's Undeniable Gravity emplacements to target fleeing raiders.

I think we should start devising a much more rigid security planning and protocols since we have the wardstones now

I want to make sure that people like the dervish who tried to kill benerro should'nt go undetected.

Damn, cutting it real close there folks. But the loot!

I've missed this type of action in this quest for some time now.

Let's do this again!
Just less blood on our part.

I like to think that the Sultan would have known it was us who robbed him even if we hadnt triggered any alarms and robbed the place without being caught since we robbed that place so clean he would know it was definitely a dragon who robbed it

We might be a small fish at the moment, but damn if we're not an annoying small fish.
You guys might want to keep some of those stones for deploying armies as well, also for ships doing raids on the Plane of Fire.
I really want these on the Dauntless now.

Also we should start brainstorming with ideas on building our doom fortress bunkers
Bronzetongue already mentioned useful items for that.

I have a idea to trade with the shaitan to gain the secret magics they use to create the walls of the opaline vault with rare lore we have that they could find useful like the
Syllable of the final incantation, History of the Garden , battlemagics spells ,etc
and also offer further military aid.

With the ability to create extremely powerful walls and terraforming we could build a super defensive bunkers.

I've updated my plan to keep four of the Small sets for Military Bases/Legion Use, plus one of the Medium sets and a 20 kilometer Boundary Stone. Those can be considered "free-floating", or deployed as needed.

There is also another Small set with a 20 kilometer Boundary Stone that is set aside for study so Lya and our enchanters can learn the secret of their creation. Once they've got that puzzled out, that set can also be earmarked for the military.
