@Goldfish, don't forget that there is a door to a hallway through which reinforcements could come. And for that matter, people could also follow through the Gate room.

I've added having Varys block both entrances to the vault with Brilliant Barrier charms. It's best we can manage right now.
Definitely better than nothing. With the other vault already containing 12 giants, an unknown number of golems and potentially some mind-blanked elites, this place will be 50% force projectiles by volume in a hot minute.

@Goldfish could maybe add to plan Viserys using cloak to grab as many chests as possible in short time? Don't have proper time to loot, but maybe we will get something extra? We have the space for it and I don't think it takes long for cloak to nap stuff.

Still is a full-round action to nab something with the cloak, barring somebody else helping by shoving something in.

Which means the next chapter will likely involve Richard and Garin throwing crates at Viserys back.

I've added for him to grab anything else he can, but only if doing so doesn't cost us even a single moment. I don't think we'll have time for it, though.

It's hard to beat high-level military hardware in terms of value looted per round.

Not much point in wasting precious seconds on a palet of gold or something.

You are all missing the point.

The more Wardstones stolen, the more Brassy's jimmies will be rustled.

And that's the real reward.

I'm also hoping we'll have time to leave a massive enhanced Wildfire bomb behind in order to hopefully destroy everything we can't take with us.

Nice plan name there
It's the name of the signature spell of Viv, the main character from one of my favorite Isekai stories I'm currently following. It's only up to chapter 8 on Royal Road, but there are 59 chapters on the author's Patreon page. She ends up being called Bob by the natives of her new home because they have trouble pronouncing her name properly.

The Calamitous Bob | Royal Road

The world of Nyil, with its monsters, its knights and its mildly sociopathic gods. Come and see! A soul flees and a soul arrives, blessed by luck. Will she survive? Will she thrive? Will she become a calamity? After all, luck is such a fickle thing.Temporary note: I am trying to publish this web...

It's by the same author of another story I recommended recently, A Journey of Black and Red. Fun story with a lot of comedy and action, but without straying into silliness. Also features an adorable baby Dragon!

Shame we know for a fact it won't be a complete mission success since some of the ward stones were taken and the Brazen Throne will know who stole from them, all things we wanted to avoid if possible.

Monk's Belt of Healing Vigor: +6 Constitution
  1. Wearer gains the AC (Wisdom bonus + 1) and Unarmed damage of a 5th-level Monk.
  2. Battle (3 Charges/Day): 1 Charge (gain a Move Action), 2 Charges (gain a Standard Action), 3 Charges (gain a Full-Round Action)
For what its worth can Viserys use 3 charges from his belt to gain another full round action to loot more?

Edit: NVM he used it already and i missed it.
Edit2: nvm he didnt use it

Thankfully, we haven't had to use that yet, though I've included it in contingency actions in a couple of my plans throughout this operation.

At this point, though, I would rather leave a ward stone behind in order to keep the Amazing Initiative + Belt of Battle option open in case we need it for one last emergency action.

I hope it won't be needed. I can't take much more stress on this one.

-[X] Viserys targets the Brass Golems with a salvo of Elemental Cold Darts, 2 for one Golem and 3 for the other, Slowing them for 1d6 rounds. He then uses a Brilliant Barrier charm as an Immediate Action to block one of the Golems while Varys uses a charm to block the other.
-[X] Richard and Garin will finish off the incapacitated Fire Giants as quickly and efficiently as possible while Viserys begins stowing ward stones in his cloak, along with anything else he can loot so long as grabbing additional items doesn't slow him down for even a single moment. In the meantime, Varys will use more Brilliant Barrier charms to temporarily seal both entrances to the vault. She'll then spend what time she has available layering additional Brilliant Barriers over her first set)
-[X] Assuming no more surprises, Viserys (and the others once they're free to help) spend no more than 30 seconds stealing ward stones (less if reinforcements reach either of the entrances Varys blocked or Viserys detects inbound Teleportation, which he will delay for the maximum of 3 rounds).
--[X] After that, Viserys deposits a massive load of Incendiary Catalyst and Pyre Salt enhanced Wildfire along with an explosive bomb detonator with a 30 second timer. Richard, Garin, and Varys will all attempt to activate a Psionic AMF crystals while Viserys does this. If they are successful, Viserys sets the timer, everyone gathers up, then he casts Invoke Magic and Anywhere But Here using Wild Arcana to evacuate. If they cannot activate one of their crystals, Viserys will use Blood Wish, Miracle, or Wild Arcana to attempt to create an AMF, whichever he deems mostly likely to succeed, before proceeding with the evacuation. We will, of course, forego leaving our parting gift if reinforcements arrive before hand.
