@Goldfish, the whole place also has Forbiddance wards and those block Teleportation cold.
I did not realize that. I still think it's the most feasible infiltration route in this case. Garin still has the Gaseous Form spell Viserys imbued into him, along with his other spells and abilities, all of which are relatively low level and magically 'quiet'.

I'm open to other suggestions if anyone has something to add?

@DragonParadox, I've gone back and added Garin's previously hashed out Mythic Rank that we never got around to voting on. It's been months since he gained the rank, so it's about time we got that taken care of. He might need the extra oomph, too. Wild Arcana will open up access to all of the spell lists he has access to, plus he might need to use Mythic Surge.

The issue is that if Garin goes alone, the party further dwindles down. If something goes tits up, he has to fight his way out on his own and that's a long ass way when you can't Teleport and your enemy has artillery and high-level casters who can act with impunity. Viserys at least only needs to fight his way to the surface and can then fly out in dragon form while using invisibility and force effects to evade AA fire, but Garin would have to walk.

Okay, plan updated. @Everyone, I've changed my vote to the enchantment option. If this fails, we'll likely have to fight our way free, but it won't be further splitting the party.

If possible we could get some general info from the palace servants. Nothing is more chatty than an employee with little to do.

I'm going to ask this in the thread just so I don't miss some spell and have to edit:

If Viserys was in the position of needing to quietly buff someone else's bluff fast how would be do it?

Good Hope could provide a +2 Morale bonus as a Standard Action and has the benefit of buffing all allies simultaneously.

Good Hope – Spell – D&D Tools

Complete list of all D&D spells, rulebooks, feats, classes and more!

Instant of Power can provide a +4 Enhancement Bonus as an Immediate Action. That's as fast as it gets and ranged, too.

These are both low level spells that should stack with other effects, like Divine Insight that we regularly imbue our people with, plus the +6 Competence bonus to Bluff they can all get from using their Channel Vigor buffs.

Not quite applicable in the time available unfortunately.

Between +15 from Divine Insight and +6 from their Channel Vigor buffs, that's pretty decent. Also, Instant of Power is an Immediate Action, which is basically instant.

Viaerys, Richard, and Garin can all use Mythic Surge for another boost, too.

Will Viserys have time to cast more than one spell? A luck reroll via Insight of Good Fortune would be nice for this.

@Goldfish I don't think we can cast a bard spell without doing something obvious, but we shouldn't start carrying around a high CL item of Combined Talent for future infiltrations.

Being able to let people borrow up to 10 ranks of another person's skill would be pretty useful if we need to hand out spontaneous social bonuses again.

Bard 6 means that Viserys would have to shell out a Miracle for it and that would go over about as well as an unscheduled rocket launch during the Cold War.
It's in the leadership subdomain too, so couldn't he cast it as a 6th level cleric spell?

Not that that's much better, but I figured it was worth asking since it wasn't clear to me if the wards were keyed entirely to spell level or if it was modified by scale of effect.

Freeze and Cold Snap for example are both 6th level, but dropping the temperature by 50 degrees Fahrenheit in a 1 mile radius area intuitively seems like it'd be more obvious than encasing one guy in ice.

I'm not going to call it unfair or anything, it's honestly probably better to pin it to spell level to make rulings simple, but since the description effectively only said big spell it seemed reasonable to ask if fancy telepathy would be over the line.
