She is the commander of our Baatezu. To what position should we raise her? Chief of Security, so that she spends more time with Richard?
If any human character had been in her position I'd vote to build her a demiplane of exotic beaches and a mochito-producing golem.

But for her "all duty" type it seems hard to find adequate rewards.

The Inquisition should have already done regular and irregular checks on the House of Mirrors, so I'm pretty sure that a few heads will have to roll over this.

But yeah. I think two Minddragons to the Inquisition on a permanent basis for these kinds of mental check-ups sounds good.

Can we give Mereth a raise?

She has repeatedly saved our ass so far and definitly shown us that sometimes experience counts for more than just levels.
She probably places more value on the very good gear we've given her than she would on simple material wealth, but I wouldn't have any issues with buying her something very nice, or just giving her a big chunk of cash.

The only thing I can think of is more power. Not really more influence, but personal power.

Give her a day off, find some hapless foe in great numbers, and tell her to take Richard on a date to slaughter the foe there.

So... did we finally vote on that ability that let Richard parry boulders and spells?

I don't remember its name.

That sort of pointless grinding slaughter is one of the reasons while she abandoned Baator.. Her tastes in entertainment these days run more in two directions:
  1. Cerebral, like strategy games, and reading she is trying to get an imperial cyvasse championship going and enjoys reading philosophy and military history
  2. Simple pleasures, like long flights over beautiful landscapes, creature comforts and interesting company

See one blood-soaked battlefield, seen them all. When the battle is mental though, both sides are limited more by the imagination than by the terrain and the weapons on hand.

I think we tend to forget at times that our institutions are very young and lacking in experience.

Sure they were designed by clever people, both sides of the screen, but I guess some lessons don't really stick until you see some heads roll because you didn't follow procedure.
