Ah... that take-over was just perfect in every way...
Ah... that take-over was just perfect in every way...
I'm still proud of that particular conquest (even though it was mostly your work, I just enjoyed watching it unfold). We butchered every political rival we had in the entire city, pinned all of the blame on the city's most popular moron, got their army to die against our army and show everyone in Westeros and Essos that the Legion is the new unbeatable force at least in terms of mortal armies, and then at the end of it all we personally killed Aedon.
I agree pretty much carte blanche with what you said. There is an interesting part here.who isn't all that educated or just doesn't have much innate talent,
Brutal, albeit. I would hate for demagogues to run around without drawing governmental oversight however.
Yep. Viserys won't waste talent where he recognizes it. Those who show aptitude and inclination would be streamlined for the bureaucracy.I agree pretty much carte blanche with what you said. There is an interesting part here.
We have been making education and knowledge more available. At all levels of society. As well as creating a lot of class mobility.
This wasnt altruistic. An educated work force is an effective workforce. Especially for difficult and complicated tasks like piloting a wyvern.
I think at least part of what this whole... thing is for is to make it easier for "diamonds in the rough" to stand out and actually make something of themselves.
I have genuinely no idea what you are talking about and I usually remember my own rants quite well.I am requesting assistance. Does anybody know where Azel talked about the faith of the seven being a crappy outlet for peasent revolts that never really effects actual change?
@DragonParadox, just to be sure, would this count as an MA, or need an RA?
[] Trade for Fey Lore applicable to Imperial Deity project (without spreading the information on the exact nature of the project too freely) with the Fey of:

Stannis' fleet suddenly becomes much more dangerous, able to bombard King's Landing without actually making a melee assault.I have genuinely no idea what you are talking about and I usually remember my own rants quite well.
On an entirely different note, after the gunpowder debate, I wonder how the balance of power on Planetos would shift if you actually implemented what I talked about, with Westeros having simple cannons, western Essos the first matchlock guns, and Ghis in the process of reforming their own Unsullied into a Janissary-like outfit making use of massed arquebus fire. The War of the Five Kings would be a lot more interesting, with Tywin and Stannis trying to exploit their money and their strategic positions respectively to get Essosi sellswords to fight on their sides, while the Ironborn suddenly become a major threat due to their expertise with naval cannons.
I'm assuming some basic competency on the part of Balon. My idea would be that the Ironborn fought and lost their rebellion as in canon, but with Balon being aware of the availability of naval artillery in Essos, he decided to prepare for the next round. Hence a few foundries beings set up in the Iron Isles and gunpowder being stockpiled for the day of the rematch.Realistically if the Ironborn were regularly sinking fleets prior to WoFK, but still (probably) lost due to overwhelming numbers disadvantage... there would be no Ironborn fleet. There might not even be an Ironborn. Westeros is pretty vindictive when they get their noses bloodied.
I may have falsely attributed it to you. Let me do some more digging.I have genuinely no idea what you are talking about and I usually remember my own rants quite well.

Three levelups to consider -- Tyene, Azema, and Benerro.
To second this question, do we add Teana to next month's Qohor-wrangling (Free Action)?W8, did we or did we not have Benerro joining Mel on 3rd's month action?
Is he too glass-cannon-y?
While Benerro would certainly be useful in the war, he's probably going to be best served organizing the faithful of R'hllor within the Imperium for mass prayer to fuel the battle. He's not quite the head of the faith considering the differences between the cities, but he's definitely the closest thing to it.To second this question, do we add Teana to next month's Qohor-wrangling?
Her reaction after Sarnor is murky to me by now (ayy to memory issues), but I think she wanted a bit of a break..?
I'm sure there are plenty of things to dissect. Shub-Niggurath might not be the craftiest abomination but she has her fair share of neat shit.Fingers crossed that we get enough material in Qohor to unlock the Eldritch template.
Okay, he's part of Free Action then. While Benerro would certainly be useful in the war, he's probably going to be best served organizing the faithful of R'hllor within the Imperium for mass prayer to fuel the battle. He's not quite the head of the faith considering the differences between the cities, but he's definitely the closest thing to it.
