So in terms of actual punishment, I think we should start with making them do a detailed review of all cases involving infernal influences* , possibly by having some of our devils detail how they'd take them apart. To avoid looking like hypocrites (and therefore driving them towards Hell) we probably need to have something to say about our exception that clarifies the situation without giving them the idea that they can get one too.

Predicated on our ability to break it when they've learned we their lesson, afflicting them with a Spellblight Jinx to make clear we're not fucking around could be useful. Death is an abstract threat to sheltered academics, losing their magic until we think they're worthy of it is much more immediate.

You can get Divination out of the House of mirrors which is the future up to a week, commune has no limit except the power of whatever entity you are contacting. You could ask them about lost arcane secrets, treasures from the Age of Dawn anything and everything. At least that is what the perpetrators in this particular instance justified themselves.
That makes more sense as bait than just getting a stronger familiar, but it also makes them even more arrogant. Playing games with an imp is one thing, but trying to exploit it's commune entails risking the attention of whatever it's communing with. It also means sending whoever that happens to be an itemized list of things you care about and places you're likely to go, which could end very poorly if it has more pieces on the board and wants to use you for something.

edit: dropped some words there *involving people like them we have

I actually think SD could do with the shakeup. Things are too hunky-dory "everything will be fine, Viserys will fix everything". Let people know that the first people who get sent in are the Inquisition, trained for the job, and get used to having a secret police actually... policing things. They aren't just our supernatural hitmen who only show up after quietly investigating a place, or spying on our enemies. They have a public face too, not just a scary "we will burn, then loot" apparatus.
Are you suggesting they conduct an actual investigation or that they go in making as much noise as possible to terrorize them to "correct" their behavior?

if you find an agent of Baator here, you will be executing them with extreme prejudice, and will likely mandate the entire student body show up when that example gets made via Breathweapon
Publically executing one of their teachers or classmates in front of them will not be great for their mindset.

Edit: to say nothing of how the staff will react.

So...where is the closest source of this? Is it the Court of Stars or do the Old-Gods aligned Dryad Queen have something for us?
1. Orphne Court which is vassalized to us
2. Sea Courts currently bound to the Merling King which we can bargain for
3. Court of the Goblin Market in Lys which is vassalized to us.
4. Scattered Fey in the Rhoyne which are slowly being vassalized.
5. Court of the Golden Grove which is extremely friendly to us.
6. Wild Hunt, which is on good terms with us.
7. Various courts aligned with the Old Gods.
8. Court of Ymeri, which we're about to smash alongside R'hllor
9. Court of Winter AKA the Others
10. Court of Stars

There might be courts in Sothroyos and the Summer Islands, but we haven't heard of anything yet. Plenty of sources for us.

Oh, goody fey deals...said no one sane.

Imps get a weekly commune spell, that is a hell of a prize for a minor mage.
It should be part of the normal Scholarium curriculum that Commune spells don't typically just pull the answers out of thin air, but that they are being answered by a powerful extraplanar entity, be that a deific hivemind, the gathered spirits of dead Dragons, a specific god, or in the case of Imps and Quasits, an Archdevil or a Demon Lord.

Any students willing to trust the answers from an Imp or Quasit's Commune spell is going to be a problem.

Keep in mind these are initiates who have devil lecturers. the details of how you guys got the loyalty of such are not public.

Okay, so, and MA concerning Fey Lore, then.
[] Ask Wildhunt (friendly)
[] Ask the Feylord in Feyforge within Lys-flection (allied)
[] Ask the Water Courts (allied)
[] Ask the Golden Grove court (friendly)
[] Ask OG-aligned Fey Courts (allied)

Sounds sensible enough? Gotta be a "month-end-report"-sort of thing, I think.
We already got all we could have from Orphne on the matter, iirc.

[X] This will be investigated by the inquisition as with any other diabolic summoning.
-[X] Students and staff are expected to co-operate with the inquisitions to the best of their ability. If this is found to be the result of a fiendish plot, they can expect many more visits from the inquisition in the future.
-[X] The children responsible for summoning the imps will be suspended for two weeks, or until the investigation is concluded. Whichever is longer.
-[X] Their families will be expected to make reparations for the damage incurred by the imps they summoned. In monetary form for those who can afford it, or community service for those who can not. Their families and associates will also be investigated (quietly).
-[X] They will have a mark of justice placed upon them that will lead the inquisition to them should they cast anything during this punishment.
-[X] If they do not have a very good reason for doing so they will have their ability to cast removed for the duration of their punishment.
-[X] If the inquisition did not have a file on them before. They are to be informed that they do now.

@DragonParadox did you get my question?

Just to check : the crown binds the wearer to the land in the Reach where the Fey rule in the Feywild, right? Or is this some sort of worldwide thing?
