In regards to the crown; do we actually have to eat this energy field to get what we want out of it? I don't have a problem with it in principle, but the risk of negative hold overs or some fey themed consequence is a bit high for my taste.

Alternatively, if we have Yss launder the device and bind it to a non sapient reptile which is in turn bound to follow Viserys' orders, we could get all the power and leave the consequences to an int-2 fall guy. A Gnasher Lizard (vorpal mountain alligator) or a Fire Lizard would fit in his domain and make a fine addition to Viserys' official court appearances.

Can we even pull off the evil overlord look without an exotic pet that follows us everywhere, or a gator/shark tank to throw offending courtiers into? :V

That's almost enough reason to do it that way on it's own.

So, does this sound fine for 3rd month's priorities in RAs?
[] Dreamscaping Having created a beacon in the dreamlands now you must consider how one might build a road that will endure the ever-shifting paths of that realm (21/25 Progress)

[] The Mysteries of East: With them now open to you, have the libraries of Vahar accessed, and scoured through for lore of illusion, divination, and other low-energy magics.
(Progress: 0/12)

[] Secure the Flesh Forge, and fleshsmiths, against memetic attacks
-[] Heavy defenses
(Progress 0/45; Cost 600,000 IM)

[] Spell-Crafting
-[] Research a Greater version of Baleful Teleport [no distance limit, 8th level]
(Progress: 12/16, Cost: ??)

[] To Reveal the Void: The touch of the Void that corrupted the Winter Fey and much of the other corners of the world is possible to detect... if not exactly easy. Thankfully, you already have someone with an affinity for doing so. Look into Rina's class ability in order to create a method of detecting Void-touched entities.
(Progress: 0/18; Cost: 12,000 IM)

[] Lya working on the Hammer with Zathir
(Progress: Who the fuck knows; Price: Probably too much)

[] Our Researchers being set on figuring out steam locomotion and getting us actual trains.
(Progress: Being Made; Cost: No too high)

Can't spoil a few other actions DP didn't cover, but I really don't think they actually matter, either.

[here used to be the list, but it isn't anymore. Trust me that regardless which of the matters not yet covered, they don't really matter for "to be done Before Reconquest"-list]

Looks good. I am really excited about Lya's first proper Artifact.

And thumbs up on the Flesh Forge defenses. Once those are up we can finally figure out Psionics.

Didn't we promise to work on the Faceless poison urgently? Other than that it looks good.

Yes, and we've been working on it.
It is't really urgent urgent, since we also ignored it for a few months since giving the promise.

Saying whether it is finished or not is a [.spoiler.], but it is really not as important as most other projects for us right now regardless.
Even (potentially) finished it isn't really of use for us until our next dedicated Undead-fight. Which is likely months after Reconquest anyway.

Even though we're definitely not completing it, we should make enough of a dent in it that another month of dedicated focus breaks through.
[X] The Undeath's End: The secret of creation of the ancient and extremely potent anti-Undead poison you received from Faceless Men is lost to eons... Yet one of the greatest poison-makers the world knows is in your employ, and few other races have as much intimate knowledge of poisons as the Snake-kin, and the Drow, both of whom you have access to. Recreate the ancient mixture (Progress: 0/50, Cost: ??)
-[X] Elaheh Marita (4d6 Progress), Quburn (4d6 Progress),

What I genuinely don't understand why Elaheh is on that project. Qyburn I kinda get, but Elaheh? Does not compute for me.
Sorry, didn't really have a good project to throw her alone at, and thought making at least some Progress in the project is prudent to look good not terrible in the eyes of the Faceless of ours.
Now this 3rd month we might just send them on an adventure, even :V

Mechanically it's all fair game, anyway.
:p

Hopefully Qyburns side-project concludes in the 3rd month so that we can send him taking care of the Citadel in the 4th.

So is Qyburn still "surprise vivisection" level angry with the Citadel, or has his crushing success as an academic and necromantic pioneer mellowed him out on that front?
He considers most of them sheep and not really worthy of contempt. Except for Ebrose. That particular well of vitriol runs deep.

Also, no guarentees in what state he will leave anyone who was involved in censoring texts or outright book burnings targeted to suppress magic.

Book burnings? If he tells that to Lya she might be just as furious as he is.

Remember the Artisans Pride chapters in Oldtown? Qyburns labs got ransacked and most of his books and documents torched. That were a few Maesters and hired muscle working on Ebrose orders to clean up the potential scandal when Qyburn was officially thrown out of the citadel. Having it widely known what one of the Maesters had been up to in the sewers would have been... ill received by the general public.

I didn't realize his books were among the damage, i thought it was just laboratory equipment. Poor Qyburn. Hopefully he was able to use that ritual we have to bring ashes back to their original unburned form.

Does he require any assistance? We have plenty of deniable assets we can throw his way. Or does he wish to deal with this in a more personal way?

Huh. I'd assumed that they'd looted the books and put them into their vaults somewhere, out of a desire to hoard knowledge and suppress whatever horrific stuff Qyburn had been getting up to.
Hearing that they just burned it all is saddening. You're a bunch of academics! You should be stockpiling this stuff!

Speaking of the Citadel and maesters in general, have we looked into the anti-magic conspiracy at all by divining letters and such we got earlier? Sure they might not be as bad now since they can't stop magic returning to the whole world, but they are still people we want to check out just in case they are doing super shady stuff.

He had made copies of the important stuff and has restored what he could since.

We'll see when we get there. I'm currently planning with a few Myrkdreki and a ton of undead with molds.

Keeping Qyburns stuff means keeping evidence your department fucked up big time and one of it's members went completely off the rails.

Don't think scholars, but office politics.
