Solid lead for dragging him away from whatever he is trying to do in that pool.

I'm not sold on Fear being able to disperse the sacrifices, since they seem plenty frightened already, but just claw their eyes out instead of getting up and running.

Would be fairly ironic if we completed the ritual for him. May also wish to get the other would be sacrifices out of there with Fear as well.

After we kill him can we still take his body to the tree to make sure he doesn't come back like he is claiming to?

Currently we have a big lead for not killing him right now, in case that triggers his ritual. If he dies before we can fully sacrifice him, I would vote for cremation and dumping the ashes on the tree.

If dying people shout at you about rising stronger and harder, you better make sure they are extra-dead.

Once we have the necessary levels every important defeated enemy will be soul-captured and his body destroyed with Barghest's Feast. The latter has 50% chance to destroy the target so completly that even Wish and Miracle fail.

Barghest's Feast looks very nice, but would cust us 1,000 IM worth of diamonds per casting. Sounds like a lovely way to dispose of White Walkers through.

Of Broken Spells and Rituals Unwound

First Day of the First Month 292 AC

"Get the him out of the water," you shout at Ser Richard the feeling of deep and sinister spell-work nearly complete pressing down on your senses like a headsman's blade hung upon a single thread...

As soon as Ser Ricchard bends down to grab him Greyjoy starts struggling: biting and clawing, long oily tentacles flailing like whips with unnatural strength. Thank all the gods the knight is wearing plate and able to shrug off the blows with ease holding the crazed priest in an iron embrace. Waymar takes a chance to hit him in the side of the head with the flat of his blade and the struggles stop.

"These people need help," Lya calls out as the crowd becomes more and more lucid, at least enough to begin a sort of half-shuffling run towards the tunnel with many of those unwilling or unable to move pushed aside or even trampled in the press of bodies. Lya reerself seems to be weathering the onslaught quite well by virtue the hardiness the slivanshee grants her.

"Try to talk to them," Tyene shouts as she struggles against the gathering tide of bodies to get to the devil, making little headway.

Time to end this. For the second time you call your magic to banish the fiend. This time your power proves greater then its bonds and it vanishes with a hiss that might have been pain, pleasure or both together.

Dany free in the air even as you are uses her healing magic to mend the wounds of some of the panicking... former sacrifices, you suspect. Soon it will be a fruitless task as the crowd gathers more and more momentum in its headless flight. The tunnel can bearably squeeze three walking side by side. Should you even save them? the thought is cold but not without merit. You can see many of them suffer from warping of the flesh and you would not wager for their sanity.

What do you do?

OOC: Good guess on Damphair playing dead... and on having a ritual set up. It took some lucky rolls for Ser Richard to grapple him and Waymar to knock him out.

They are all fleeing through the same tunnel?

We could fly in front of them and turn into the Felldrake to block the path. Would that be large enough?

In the long term we should try to help those that can be helped and make sure that all those who where willing sacrifices are put to their intended use, only for different gods. We don't want anyone crazy enough to die for for Drowny in our town.

[x] Have Danny cast ice slick on the path while you cast color spray on the sacrifices

There ice slick to slow them down and color spray to knock them out or stun them
