hey what gods do giants have in 3.5e and do any of them have to do with lightning or thunder.

also something i thought about after this but, why does winter have the sky domain? when you think about it they don't really have that many connections with the sky. the only real reason i can think of is snow falls from clouds and becouse the OG are earth so they mirror. after this i kinda thing that there was at least a third god who was of Giants, the sky, clouds and thunder and the void tainted Others broke the pact here and killed/voided him and claimed his previous dominion over the sky.
i have no idea of any of this is right but it feels like there might be something to it at least

So this might just be me but i have a very strong urge to put some anti-other forge creatures here to guard it becouse i am way to damn curious about it and i'm not letting winter have this place

Stronmaus

Stronmaus (pronounced: /ˈstrɔːnmɔːz/ STRAWN-mawz[8]) was a neutral good greater deity of the giant pantheon, known as the Ordning, holding the portfolios of the sun, sky, weather, and seas.[9][8][1] His titles were the Storm Lord, the Thunderhead, and the Smiling God.[1] When Stronmaus...

We have three Moonchasers though
I'm not sure that's enough.

There are 303 Adult Westerosi Giants, 66 Child Westerosi Giants, and 621 Mammoths.

Also, we're going to march them through Castle Black for PR purposes. We're basically showing the entire North that not only did we save the Children of the Forest, we also saved the last Giants.

It was already decided out of wider strategic concerns that nothing in the Far North was defendable once Winter came. That's why the Thenns were evacuated.

I understand PR. Go on then

oh yeah not when winter hits, i just don't want them trying to pull anything with say the wights they now have, we have quite some summer to go i just want to make dure they don't pull anything before we can study this place properly.

Like I said, it sounds a lot like the whole 1000 year war and Ostoria thing from Forgotten Realms. . .

If it is something like that, then the fist isn't something we want to leave here when we go.

It's the middle of Summer, we should be fine to come back and poke at it with a few Westerosi Giants tagging along to make sure we can activate some of the racially-bound magics. We should also bring Soft Strider.

I really want to know what is going on here. I love to rediscover lost or forgotten history of the world, but we should first evacuate the Giants, IMO.

We should get them moving, cast a bunch of Celestial Brilliance spells on some of their stuff, along with a Blinding Glory spell for good measure, then come back here to investigate further.

We came here to evacuate the Giants.
Let's not get sidetracked and provoke a possible response from the Others again.
We can investigate this mystery in the near future anyway.

I am deeply curious on how the Westerosi Giants will react to our Stone Giants, Fire Giants, and Frost Giant. And how they'll react to the Westerosi Giants. There are bound to be plenty of ancestral memories there.

Also @DragonParadox:
1. Are we aware of any Cloud Giants or Storm Giants in the Planes?
2. Is there a chance we can nab the Jotun template off of an enemy Fire Giant in our war against the Brazen Throne?
3. Do the Westerosi Giants remember anything about the bygone war between Giants and Dragons?

  1. There are Storm and Cloud Giants lords on the Plane of Air, but they are about as rare as dragons
  2. Maybe, that is not the sort of thing that ends up in rumors
  3. They do not seem to, certainly they did not react negatively to Viserys being a dragon

It might be that all the giants here make it possible to find out what's happening with the Fist. I say prepare for an attack and make sure we have permission from the giants for everything we try to do.
Bring everyone and have them ready then poke the thing..
