We should be able to increase Maelor's on hand funds a good deal simply by giving him more money. I'm sure a good portion of it will be lost in bribes, but that's an acceptable exchange, IMO. We don't have any one currently producing Alchemical drugs and getting our hands on a significant quantity on short notice would be difficult. We could also just give him a couple nice items to sell in the shop for large sums of money. There are two sets of armor that have been sitting in the Armory for a really long time which we haven't found the right people for yet. One is worth at least 8,000 IM and the other is worth more than 12,000 IM.

I don't really want to part with them, because they're both really neat, but it would be a fitting way for a magic shop to make a large amount of cash in a legitimate manner.
  • 1 Fullplate(Silver Dragonhide), Reinforced Segmented Dread-Wing (+1)
  • 1 Gelugon Plate: Fullplate, Reinforced Segmented Fullplate (+3, Resist Cold 10, Wall of Ice 3/Day)
A Thinaum blade would be a nice way to off that Efreeti general while preventing him from being Resurrected. It would capture his soul on death, which could be quite useful for certain parties. The only source of Thinaum that we know of is the Opaline Vault, and if anyone is motivated to assassinate Efreeti generals, it's the Shaitan.

Selling our unused items is a good way to go about it if alchemical items is something we can do. On a side note, did we remember to have the Glassmaker's Guild figure out how to make Dragonglass Golems with that ritual of theirs? I want them mass produced for the Wall.

What if there has been a secret cult operating within the Dervishes for millennia, one established by a long dead Red Dragon? It would be amusing if Viserys were to benefit from that long forgotten forebearer.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a faction in the Plane of Fire that's been waiting on us, just like the scions of Syrax were waiting for us in Valyria.

The source of our power is our inner flame. If we're aiming to devour the strength of Ymeri and take her power for our own, that's got all sorts of ripples you could glimpse in divination.

So do I. But think of whatever culture and languages and people we could encounter and catalogued.

We've got Mesopotamian-expy via Sarnor, Assyrian, Russian, Mongols, Middle-Ages Europe, even eastern Asia.

What sort of ethnicity that we could encounter were they not a ploy from otherworldly forces? Will they be like Mayan? Polynesian? Indo-American? India?

Goddamnit, I wanna know more!

If we get to orbital altitude then we can confirm the actual landmass of the planet, and see if there really is another new continent after Westeros.

I agree. It would be bad if it were to show that another continent from another D&D-verse were to dropped on us.

Imagine if Faêrun is what's on the other side. And I'm sure DP will not be as cruel as to use Crossovers for his inspiration. Like Akavir, Middle-Earth, or...

Creation. We've got enough troubles on our plate, overpowered demigods that could fight gods as an equal running around in our world would be a nightmare!
 
Personally, I expect to see some blasted ruin of a landmass with a giant Whirlpool of Void in it's center.
Juuuust far enough beyond the horizon to have never been seen (and lived through to tell the tale), just close enough for everything to fucking die.

To raise the stakes a bit :V
 
Middle Earth kind of make sense of being an option, but Creation is literally impossible since it exists as an island of reality in the middle of the Empyreal Chaos.
